This is the best phone holder I’ve had. It holds on securely. You can easily open it with one hand and the arms snap closed when you press the phone against the holder. It turns between portrait/landscape which I sometimes do if I’m using gps. My mom borrowed it for a road trip and she liked it so much that I bought a second one for her. I had to use the bracket that comes with it to make it fit tighter in the cd slot. It has a small flexible magnet/tape thing you can wrap around your charging cord that magnetizes to the back of the phone holder so you can easily grab the end of your charger. I like this way better than the ac vent or suction cup design. It’s all plastic but I bought my first one about a year ago and it’s still holding up well.

The flat blades that go into the CD slot do shift side-to-side somewhat after a while. Minor issue. The foot at the bottom rests against the entertainment display and obscures the information on it. This only affects my particular car make/model probably (2010 Hyundai Santa Fe). The ring-screw that tightens against the adjustment ball has to be secured on occasion, once the phone cradle starts to loosen and sag lower and lower. Once tightened, it's pretty secure and doesn't move unless you move it. The side release latch gets stuck sometimes, and moving the phone's weight off then on it again will re-engage the latch so it hugs the phone again. Minor issues for a relatively inexpensive phone mount solution.

I love it, second one I have purchased. Works perfectly in the CD slot on my car. I have a 12 max with a case and its able to hold my phone in-place. The cord can hang down from the bottom to be plugged into a charger. They give you a little black plastic piece don't use it unless you need to. I accidentally stuck it in the tensioner without needing and it was a PIA to get it out. It looks like a little wedge piece. you should be fine without it. I also like how you push it into place and it closes automatically on your device to hold it.

So far, so good!!! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 it stays that way. I’ve had the IOTTIE for a couple of weeks now and it is the best car mount I’ve had. I tried the stick on style no go as it kept heating up in the sun and falling off, I’ve tried the one you attach to to air con vent no good for me as it wobbled around and blocked the cool air. Then I tried one that attaches to the rear vision mirror, this one never really fit properly and not long after having it it came loose and no longer worked. The IOTTIE Easy One Touch is secure and in a very convenient location, it doesn’t block any of my visibility. I’m very happy with it. Also good service from this store, it arrived in a couple of days after purchase.
I've never written a review on an item I bought at Target before BUT I had to do so this time because of how happy & impressed I am with this product. It fits easily into my CD slot and stayed put, never once fell off, or fell out. My phone also stayed in place the whole car ride. Its easy to manuver while driving also which is very important. Because of where its "mountned" (in the CD slot) my phone doesn't block the clock, which my other air vent car mount did. It also has a magnetic strip to attach your wire charger to for easy storage onto the mount itself, that way your charging cord is always easily accessible. Overall its really a great product.
Bought one of these today since I broke my magnetic one (other brand) by accident. It holds my phone without it slipping out. The holder has two little bars on the bottom that will prevent a phone from slipping down. My only complaint is that this holder does shake/wobble around while driving. I used it for over 5 hours today (Doordash) and I liked it, however, I may end up returning it. It came with a small bracket that slides into the clip which may help the shaking, but I'm not entirely sure. If you're on a budget and need a cheap phone holder, this one works. If the shaking/wobbling while driving annoys you, then look for another one.
It works just as described and is well constructed. The CD slot on my car’s stereo is at the top of the stereo so the phone mount is positioned away from the car’s manual shifter. However, I still found it necessary to orient the phone horizontally in order to avoid hitting it with my hand every time I shifted. But that’s fine. It’s just as easy to view the map in my iPhone’s GPS app when oriented that way. I’m very satisfied with this product. Congrats to iOttie for making this fine product and thank you for doing so!

It's not flimsy, it feels completely secure, and I'm so glad my friend recommended this. If you've got an old CD player that you're not using much anymore, this is a great repurposing of that space!
I don't use my CD slot in my car and I didn't want to have anything take up space on my cup holders or on my windshield/dashboard so I opted for this. I like it because it utilizes a feature that you don't use and make it advantageous. It holds the phone really well, I have a Note 20 with a cover for reference. My phone has not fallen out of its grasp yet. I also like the magnet feature to hold the charging wire when not in use...installation was easy too.My only dislike and that's car specific is that it gets in my view of the screen when I'm in reverse so I have to lift the mount a little or slide down my seat in order to have a clear view when I'm reversing which becomes inconvenient.Other than that, great use and mount!
I needed something that would be secured and wouldn't fall off. Suction cups didn't work. Vent clips didn't work. I don't use my CD player, so inserting this into the drive was a no-brainer. It holds very well and while the phone does shake, it's not that bad. It's a slight tremor.I also love the phone grip. It snaps into place so easily. Push the levers to expand the arms, insert the phone and they snap into place. Done.It does block my view of the radio display, but I can live with that.
