I recently purchased the Apple iPad, and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This is a significant advantage, especially for those who are constantly on the move or rely on their iPad for work or entertainment during long trips.Furthermore, the speakers on the iPad are impressive. They deliver clear and loud audio, making movie-watching and music playback a delight. The sound quality is immersive and enhances the overall media experience on the device. One aspect that sets Apple products apart is their seamless integration across devices. Whether it's syncing data, accessing content, or switching between devices, the experience is incredibly smooth. The iPad effortlessly connects with other Apple devices, allowing me to easily access my files and continue tasks from my iPhone or Mac. This level of integration enhances productivity and simplifies my workflow. In terms of performance, the iPad is lightning fast. Finally Got It!
I have been wanting this device for a very long time! Finally my husband made the right move and gave it to me as a gift. I am loving it! Big screen is amazing, my son uses it for YouTube or TikTok while he is charging his own. I haven't had much time to explore it but hopefully will soon since we have a road trip planned. MAIN reason why I wanted it. To watch movies on the road and kills some time, instead of carrying my MAcBook or using my iPhone. BIG SCREEN makes it much better lol plus the volume is amazing! on the loud side. Bought an Otter Box case for it and screen protector to keep it safe (due to my kids rarely using it). And the Apple pen to draw or make notes, which also makes it easier than using my finger.... Show more

Good, But Not for Creative Cloud Video Production
I feel like this review could change as I use the device more. So, don’t get me wrong this is an amazing piece of technology, everything looks great, is super fast and snappy, and works as expected.I knew going into this that there’d be a learning curve (compared to laptops) and the following list is a reiteration of those concerns.Things to consider1. There are functions the iPad can do that aren’t as intuitive as the iPhone or computer. Plenty of research and tutorial watching is sort of required to get thing to work seamlessly.2. The 12.9” size is large and sort of awkward without a keyboard and other accessories. The Pro is also quite heavy.3. MANY apps are simply not optimized for iPad and are clunky. I find myself logging into things via web browser to get a full-screen more normal experience.4. Speaking of web browsers, the Chrome app currently does not support a bookmarks bar nor extensions.5. As there is only one USB-C port external dongles are needed for enhanced connectivity (to projectors, external hard drives, Ethernet, etc.)6. Currently, not all Adobe apps are support… meaning Premiere Pro, After Effects, and more don’t really support a video workflow with the Creative Cloud. No Bueno!!Again, most of this will likely not be a huge deal once I use it more, but if you’re in between this and a laptop there are some clear limitations. Hope this helps.... Show more

Huge leap in technology
Granted, I upgraded from a 2nd generation iPad. Never really felt the need to upgrade, until I realized I needed a better way to take notes and save notes. I take notes while on the phone and typing does not bode well, so I like to handwrite them. I have tons of notepads, but going back and finding notes I made a year ago was difficult. I tried Rocketbook but felt it was tedious and had multiple failures in the sinking. iPad Pro, paired with some really great apps is a game changer. I did add the paper-like feel screen cover and also use the apple 2 pencil. Keeping track of notes and having a new notebook for each client is truly a game changer. I would recommend Good Notes app. For what I do, I might have been able to get the air or something similar, but really ... MoreGranted, I upgraded from a 2nd generation iPad. I would recommend Good Notes app. For what I do, I might have been able to get the air or something similar, but really wanted the 12.9-inch display for taking notes. The only area that I am still working on is converting handwriting to text. Admittedly I do not have the best handwriting and there is a lot of errors if I convert. Exploring just converting titles and dates so that searching later can be easier and not convert all the text. But I am sure there is an app I just haven't found yet.I believe the usefulness of this iPad Pro is unmatched. If you draw or design, Procreate is also an unbelievable app for $13. Back in the day software this powerful would have cost a real mint. With the short amount of time I have spent with this iPad I really wish I could have had it a lot sooner. It is amazing! The Apple Pencil is very expensive and would probably only buy an open-box version, but it really is extremely powerful, there really is value in this piece of plastic. I could not imagine owning this iPad without it.... Show more

ipad pro 12.9
It's everything you could want in an iPad. The features of the sixth generation iPad Pro 12.9 are exaggerated. The touch screen is dreamy with a smooth touch. I use the Apple Pen and its capabilities are incredible, with a light touch I can draw, correct, erase, write notes and convert to text. The screen size is comparable to that of a laptop. Movies on the go don't require squinting. The sound is excellent (no small sound). Sure, the $12.9 costs a little more than the 11-inch, but the extra screen size makes a big difference to me. Add all the features to the RAM and storage, the speed and the high-quality graphics and camera, and you have the ultimate iPad. I bought this 6th generation iPad to get facial recognition, which is amazing for logging into many apps ... MoreIt's everything you could want in an iPad. I bought this 6th generation iPad to get facial recognition, which is amazing for logging into many apps because it eliminates the need to enter passwords. I'm 68 years old and I don't want a list of passwords! I love it. Congratulations to Apple. I've read a lot of reviews from tech experts and expected it to live up to expectations, although they recommended the 11-inch as the 12.9-inch doesn't have any big upgrades in terms of capabilities other than the large screen. Even so, I am very happy that I chose the size that is perfect for me. I highly recommend it.... Show more

iPad Pro Model has defect.

As Best Buy Total Tech Member and a Monthly Subscription to AppleCare+ on the 11-inch iPad Pro 512 GB, the Best Buy Representative Required, Insisted the product would have to be inspected by a Geek Squad Agent in the Store. There they would place the iPad Pro on some “proprietary diagnostic equipment behind the magic curtain” only certain Geek Squad agents are trained to Operate? Objecting to the process of returning the product to the store, having someone do what has already been done by Apple representatives, and when they were not able to get it a resolution, I was informed the Geek Squad department would have to send the product back to Apple. So I paid $179 for an annual membership to Best Buy for a Geek Squad tech-support department who will send it back to Apple for me! In addition, I pay a monthly AppleCare+ subscription that allows me to send it back to Apple directly! Then Apple will ship to me another reconditioned “previously defective” product, because the 11-inch iPad Pro is now being Manufactured with the M4 Apple Chip. Request for an upgrade to the superior product having a negligible cost difference, but neither of the Company’s are willing to concede the Product is defective, and the Geek Squad refused to take the product in for the “diagnostic” because it was to close to closing time! The Consumer is not agreeable with the resolution, has provided an acceptable resolution. Consumer’s Resolution Denied! Buyer Beware?... Show more

Not that great
Honestly, I want to give this a better review, but for the cost, it doesn’t deserve it. Glitchy interface. For example, the widget for my files is often empty. No real reason, just empty. This makes me hunt down my file in other ways. If I make a change to a Word document and print it immediately, often the changes aren’t in the print out. It takes 10-25 seconds to “catch-up” I guess. When I try to print a booklet to our printer, I am not given the option of choosing saddle staple even though it is available. There are other issues, but this gives some examples.I’m sure if you want to use primarily for personal use and for videos/gaming, it’s great. For actual work, get a laptop.... Show more

USB-C port failed for many people. Don’t buy
iPad Pro 12.9s are plagued with issues. I take really good care of these and the only reliable one is the first generation that is still working and looks like new. Generation 2, the screen would start freezing and then unfreeze, Apple replaced it under warranty, the replacement one stopped responding 100% to touch right after the warranty. I saw lots of complaints online so decided to skip generation 3. I bought a generation 4, one for me and one for my wife. We both take great care of them, hers wasn’t being used for over a year, then she found a coloring program and started using it. One month later and out of warranty the USB-C charging stopped working. Tried multiple chargers and cables all work on mine, but not on hers. Looked it up online and lot’s of posts ... What an improvement from my fifth generation iPad
Coming from a fifth generation iPad, it was hard to get used to not having the button at the bottom. Also other things to get used to with new iOS, like when I swipe up from the bottom, the taskbar pops up first, when I’m used to minimizing the screen first. So you kind of have to continue swiping to shrink your browser window, or search through apps, not sure if I’m explaining that clearly, but when you swipe up to get all the open windows and apps, and you can flick them up to make them disappear, that’s the function I’m talking about. I also IMMEDIATELY noticed this speaker, improvement, and how light weight and thin the unit is. Though it’s not the HDR screen the larger pro has, I think the quality is great, again a big improvement from my iPad fifth generation. ... I also IMMEDIATELY noticed this speaker, improvement, and how light weight and thin the unit is. Though it’s not the HDR screen the larger pro has, I think the quality is great, again a big improvement from my iPad fifth generation. It looks bigger than my iPad fifth generation, but it doesn’t feel any heavier or harder to hold. I have not bought the keyboard for it, but I’m thinking about it as it is seems from online reviews kind of handy to not drag my laptop inside or further taking out my laptop, plugging it in, and going through all that when this is always charged and in my room. I can swipe through emails, search the web, check out YouTube, social media, real estate, all very easily, while lying in bed without any discomfort. I added a slim shell case, as I don’t like those other cases that cover and prop up, and feel bulky holding while sitting in bed, or on the couch. Battery also last twice as long as my four or five year old fifth-generation. A dislike is the power down feature , though, I think I can fix that in settings, and screenshot doesn’t feel natural either. It’s set up where I pinch the top button and top volume button meaning I have to grab the top corner together with fingers on both hands and doesn’t feel easy to do in hand and I have to rest the tablet on my stomach to hold pressure while pressing. Old method better and more secure using the two palms of my hand on two opposite ends of the tablet made it much easier to hold without feeling like the tablet is gonna fly out of my hand, or fall on the ground. Also the old method was easy, either horizontally or vertically. I guess I have to get used to it if I can’t fix it in settings, which I know there are a few settings like that which I need to explore. So I’ve heard it before, and now I agree, Apple needs to bring back the button!!!... Show more
