L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Sport offers a luminous opening full of sparkling citruses and energy. Bergamot and grapefruit provide a strong and dynamic beginning in the opening notes. A heart of the composition offers spicy shades of nutmeg combined with leather, while a base features elegant woody accords of cedar and vetiver. The fragrance hits the shelves in March 2012 in 50 and 100ml EDT flacons accompanied with perfumed body care products – hair and body shampoo and deodorant stick. Flacon of the new edition is shaped like its antecedent; it is transparent and colored in light blue, with a sliver-gray stopper, while a penetrating blue line under the stopper suggest a modern, sporty edition.

Absolutely love this! Long lasting and smells just amazing. I have had quite a few compliments about this fragrance and been asked what it is, everyone i know loves it's fresh smell. This is a must buy for me and would recommend it with no hesitations!

Great blind buy

Blind buy based on some yt reviews. Smells fresh, a little powdery, woody, hint of fruity, a little leathery and a hint of incense. I dont know if its just me but this i tried this on my wrist around 8pm cleaned t&b with bleach(never used gloves in cleaning). Then had a bubble bath and showed afterwards. Washed the dishes(never used gloves). Smell lingered like freshly sprayed. Lasted a day easily I tried smelling my hand at around 6pm the next day im still getting the hint of incense wood and leather. This fragrance has elegance feel to it leaning towards formality but can be used as a daily or a signature fragrance. I always splash some scent on when i go to work. i work with 5 women and this is the only scent that they always comment on:):). i love it. sure it does not seem to linger as other makes but while they make this stuff i will be buying it.. It's almost the fragrance bargain of the century but that title belongs to a Lalique fragrance that shares one of the same words as this, in it's name. Both of them are reputed and reviewed to be mostly Spring/ Summery freshie scents but it is this one that takes the trophy for smell, versatility, and potential for mass appeal, if you disregard that it's slightly higher in price. By 'mass appeal', I don't mean 'generic'. I mean most likely to impress, and be liked by, most people. It smells better, to me, as a Spring/ Summer freshie than the number one selling Armani ADG, which is now pretty weak. The price has took a big hike, sadly, recently. It used to cost 3/5ths this amount. So once it was a cheapie that was a super-safe automatic grab for gifting, now it is 'mid-priced' and requires a little bit more consideration before buying. Is it now worth it? It could be, actually. It's just not very nice to see happening but we were probably just lucky, at the time, that we ever got it for as little as we could get it, before.

The first time I bought this scent I wasn't 100% on board, it really was a slow burn. After a few uses though, it turned out to be one of my favorite colognes ever. It's one that I can't stop smelling. It's difficult to describe, it's a spicy scent, very masculine. It's not stereotypically spicy and masculine though, like the kind that's overbearing and takes your breath away.. It's masculine more like a mature, crisp, mega sexy delicious type of scent. Very good performance for an EDT, and the price is very reasonable. "Sport" is actually not a bad description, even though I don't like a TON of colognes that are labeled "sport".. it's kind of sporty in a "my favorite dapper sports icon" would wear type of sporty. I was really quite pleased with the scent from this fragrance, especially since it was a blind buy. Very crisp grapefruit note and slightly spicy, light and doesn't project too strongly at all. The downside is that after a few hours it will pretty much not be noticeable anymore. Yes I know what olfactory fatigue is, but trust me it's got nothing to do with that. I own quite a few other frags which I can still smell far after the dry down much later into the day; YSL L'homme and Polo Blue being two that stand out in that department. I was also able to verify the matching serial number from my bottle and box as legitimate, so the longevity being poor is NOT a result of my receiving a counterfeit. Smells nice!

Finally added this IM flanker to my collection! This one starts off with a burst of citruses with the bergamot and grapefruit. As it dries down you start to get that hint of cedar and vetiver! The performance is pretty decent as I got about 7 to 8 hours on my skin. Longevity was about an hour and a half. IMO, you can wear this all year round if you want. It's officially my second favorite Sport fragrance!L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Sport by Issey Miyake was launched March 2012. This is one of my favourite fragrances from Issey Miyake. The price was very good, even much cheaper than in duty free airport shops. Perfect for every occasion: work, evening out, gym. Love it! Doesn't last extremely long as some others, but that's fine. Thanks.
