I received this concealer free from BzzAgent and It cosmetics to review. This is a liquid serum-like concealer with a skin like lightly reflective finish. It sets within a few seconds after blending and doesn't move once set. The little bottle comes with a modified doe foot applicator and a blending brush under the cap. If you have severe darkness then this concealer won't be adequate, as you'll need higher coverage, but for mild problem skin, this is a perfect solution.

I still think it's an amazing product from what I saw in the formula and from testing it on areas without so much trouble, but for the function I mainly use it for (to cover dark circles under my eyes) it just didn't perform enough for me. As I was testing it, my daughter was around and of course wanted to check it out as well. So, just for fun, I applied it on her for a few minutes so she could participate in what I was doing and it looked flawless on her. But, she's a child without any coloration or age lines, so the concealer just sit beautifully and looked like skin, absolutely gorgeous. For me though, sadly it didn't work at all.

However, theirs is on top of the bottle so that one can use it to apply the product directly, using the bottle. My problem with their product is that the sponge always seems to fall off after a few uses. I don't foresee that problem with Bye Bye Dark Spots' tipped applicator because the sponge is more tightly attached to the tip (please see photos).Depending on the price, I would absolutely purchase this product and highly recommend it to others. I've been trying it for one week, which is not quite enough time to see the clinical benefits but oh—the instant concealing effects are awesome! I want to give it a month or more to see whether the serum helps fade all of my dark spots with daily use.

The applicator of IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Dark Spots Concealer and Serum is a doe-foot. I found that one swipe of this on the back of my hand, mixed with equal parts of my moisturizer (using my fingertip rather than the kabuki brush that is conveniently attached to the end of the bottle) provides the coverage I need and is easier spreading. Since the skin under my eyes is thin, I like using my fingertip to apply it, as well.I can't say enough great things about this product! The packaging is excellent compared to other products on the market in that it houses a domed synthetic brush with a lid cover that you can use to dab and blend out the concealer. My entire face looks brightened and smoothed out!Overall I am really pleased with this concealer from It Cosmetics. I love that it combines makeup pigments to even out the skin with beneficial ingredients proven to brighten dark spots and moisturizes the skin in the process so it never looks caked or dried. I highly recommend this product and will definitely purchase this in a lighter shade for the under-eye area for a more brightened effect and recommend this to my friends and family.
I received a full-sized sample of IT cosmetics "Bye Bye Dark Spots" in Light Warm 23 to try out in exchange for my honest review of the product. I mainly use concealers to cover acne spots, burst capillaries, and the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) that I get after a pimple (or bug bite!) heals. This concealer+serum works very well as coverage over PIH. It is a light/medium concealer that is buildable to a true medium coverage. The combination concealer and serum makes this product glide on smoothly and become slightly absorbed by the skin. It feels smooth and natural once applied. The mini kabuki brush included on the cap is super soft and is great for blending out the edges of larger areas, such as under the eyes. This product worked well for both PIH and the slight dark circles under my eyes, but not for any red marks like acne or burst capillaries. It is truly a product for darker areas, not red areas, therefore it works as advertised. The only product claim I cannot attest to is whether or not it fades dark spots over time. IT cosmetics states that 12 weeks of daily use is required to fade spots and I haven't used the product anywhere near that long to see those results, so that remains to be seen. Other than that, I enjoy using this product on my facial PIH and will keep this on hand, especially for lazy days when I don't want to bother with a full face of foundation. This is perfect for just covering spots when want to leave the rest of my skin alone. I'm happy to add this concealer+serum combo to my beauty/skincare routine!
This is a pretty novel product that combines serum and concealer into one. The concealer function has a buildable coverage formula and finishes with a semi-matte look. As a serum, the product contains 2% Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, and Caffeine which clinically fades dark spots after prolonged use. I haven't nearly used it enough to actually see a visible difference on my skin.The concealer + serum comes in a compact tube and has a screw cap that opens up to a doe-foot applicator for the formula. It also includes a mini kabuki brush applicator on top so you can use it to blend the concealer.Over all, the formula texture itself is good for a 2-in-1, but I feel that a straight concealer or a straight serum might do each job more efficiently. This has the same issue in my opinion, but I do like the novelty of the product in the long run and hope for more improvements in this area.I think the kabuki brush is a cute addition and decent for on-the-go, but in the long run, your own concealer brush is more effective for application. There was some creasing as well as fading hours after application, so I also recommend a primer beforehand. However I'm not sure if that would affect the absorption or effectiveness of the serum portion of this product. I'm happy to note that my sensitive skin did not react negatively to this formula and I'm happy that the formula has no discernable fragrance.The shade match of 22 Light Neutral is pretty good although I'm someone who has to blend two shades to get the perfect match most of the time. I would recommend this product for someone who doesn't want to purchase a separate serum or a separate concealer item to save space in their beauty bag.

Personally I prefer more pigmented concealers that I can use sparingly when needed over low pigmented concealers I have to layer. Since this concealer claims to correct dark spots I would have assumed it would have good coverage since you'll probably want to cover your dark spots if you're actively using something to make them fade. I will continue to use it under my eyes because being so thin it does help with creasing. The best way to blend it was to pay it with my ring finger and spread the edges with the brush that's included. Sweeping the entire thing with the brush seems that absorb a lot of the product so I wound recommend only using the brush on the edges.I can't make any claims as to wether it helps with dark spots since it does take a while to see these kinds of improvements. I don't suffer from dark under eyes so it'll be tough the see if it helps fade the little bit of darkness I have there but in the meantime this concealer does help brighten my under eyes which is always a plus.All in all I think this concealer works ok and wound recommend it to someone that doesn't need a lot of coverage.
