Awful new formula, please bring back the old formula

The old formula had mineral SPF (Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide) which have been shown to camouflage skin redness and prevent irritation, especially in those with sensitive skin. With the new formula, they changed it to chemical SPFs. The old formula's main ingredient was snail secretion filtrate (snail mucin which is AMAZING for your skin), collagen, and many other great soothing extracts. I am so disappointed. With the old formula, I did not have to wear a primer or finishing spray. It did not feel or look like makeup on my skin at all. I could wear it every day and just put a little bit on if I was going to the gym or put it all over if I was going out. There is no in-between with the new formula as it looks like a heavy foundation. There was not another formula out there the old one, and now the new ingredients aren't anything to write home about and this is just a different product. Please don't comment saying for me to speak to customer service because I already have and this is what was recommended. I have always used IT eye cream and face cream. I went on a whim and tried out the original formula and it was way too oily for me and transferred on everything. The nude glow had fragrance in it which irritated my skin and I did not like the finish, and the illumination had a shimmer that I did not like as well as other oils that my skin does not like. I am now on the lookout for a new cc cream/base because of how disappointed I am with this change. This was a cream that I swore up and down by and used for so many years, now the formula has totally changed. Please bring back the old formula, or at least add back in the old amazing ingredients and mineral not chemical SPF.

I loved the addition of SPF 40 UVA/UVB protection as it offered that extra protection to go over top of my regular SPF product. I could find no fault with this product, but I would say I think the shades run slightly dark. I had the shade Light, and I am currently on the high end of light, low end of medium. Having said that though, I began my application in the center of my face and blending outward for the most natural shade matching. It blended seamlessly this way and it looked beautiful throughout my wear tests.I would agree with the natural matte claim as it did not dry my skin and it did feel just as hydrated from start to finish of my day. I really like this product but would say try to get a good shade match as for me, it did run a bit darker than expected.I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes.#TopBoxCircle #ITCosmetics

Formula is too orange and patchy
11 July 2024

I recently tried the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Natural Matte Foundation with SPF 40 in Shade Fair Light. This CC cream comes in 30 shades and is an oil-free cream formula that is full coverage with a matte finish and contains SPF 40. This 32mL tube retails at $63. I'll first say that this was not a shade match for me at all, as the tint is far too orange. Aside from that though, I'm going to review the quality of the product.Coverage and Texture: This CC+ cream is quite full coverage, so if you're looking for a product that effectively conceals minor imperfections and evens out the skin tone but don't want the cakey feeling that usually comes with foundation, this might be great for you. I did find however that this product kind of pills and has a bit of a patchy application.Moisturization: I would've liked to see more hydrating ingredients in the formula. It is oil-free, but it does contain quite a few comedogenic ingredients that can be fungal acne triggers.SPF: With SPF 50, it provides excellent sun protection, which is essential for daily wear. The formula contains 3 SPF ingredients (2 chemical and 1 mineral). I tend to get contact dermatitis from Western chemical SPF (Korean sunscreen is where it's at!), but this one didn't break me out, so that's a win for those with sensitive skin!Color Match - The Issue: The biggest drawback of the Fair Light shade is its tint. It is noticeably orange on the skin, so those with neutral or cool-toned skin should avoid this. Despite blending and waiting for the formula to dry on my skin, it still has an unnatural tint.Overall Impression: I'm not a huge fan of this product unfortunately, and the biggest bummer about it is that I've tried this product in the past and liked it! I feel like they've definitely changed the formula. I also spent so much time trying to color match myself to their swatches on their website, and I don't think the color that's shown on the screen resembles what's in the tube at all.I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes.

I used the original formula for years, i had no plans to try this one unless i had too, well of course they discontinued the old one.I have sensitve, acne prone, combo skin, with a side of Rosacea , finding a good foundation/cc cream is a huge undertaking. I have largish pores and some fine lines, not that you could tell with the old formula. I also live where its humid, and temperatures stay around 95f in the summer.First thoughts, you have to use a very small amout at a time, blend it, go to another section, repeat. If you try too much at once it starts kind of drying while youre trying to work it and it becomes a smudgy mess. If you try too much at once it starts kind of drying while youre trying to work it and it becomes a smudgy mess. This takes a little getting used to and is definitely time consuming. As soon as its on you can see that the shade is off compared to the old formula, darker as i put it on but definitely lighter once dry, giving it a chalky look. I could immediately see fine lines on my cheeks that you couldnt notice premakeup, it also settles into ever pore and crease.By the end of the day its settled into every flaw, if you touch your face at all( blot makeup, blow nose, wipe mouth) your napkin/tissue will have makeup all over it, no matter how light you touch. My typical dry area (that I moisturize before makeup) is a flaky, chalky, creased up mess by the end of the day. Also the makeup settled so bad, the wrinkle at the top of my nose between my eyes, is super obvious and not at all camouflaged, almost like when you use too much cheap powder.I sure hope IT brings back the old formula, if not I'll have to start the dreaded task of finding a new foundation, I will not be buying this again.

I also admit that I was kind of bummed to h know that this must mean they are discontinuing the oil-free Matte CC cream product that they already have. I checked the packaging on this product and cannot determine if this new product is oil-free, as the packaging does not specifically call it out. I will say the product felt wonderful going onto my skin while I applied it. The issue was once I applied it it almost looked muddy. It also seemed to do the exact opposite of what it promised. One of the three main ingredients in the new formula is "3% Lentil Seed Extract" which the company claims is supposed to "minimize the look of pores", but I'm here to report that my pores have NEVER looked BIGGER than they do with this product on my face. And I am not a person who usually complains about or notices the size of my pores. :(Take from that what you will. I don't want to give this product no stars because I really like this brand, I like packaging, and I like their messaging. I like what they are trying to do, and it may just not be working for me. I'm going to play with the product some more because I trust their formulations and I like that they feel good on my skin, have safe ingredients, and protect my from the sun.

It cosmetics blush in sun glowThis product was a big win for me. First, the color is gorgeous! It is perfect for Summer because it really warms up the skin and looks great with and without other makeup products. It doesn’t lift my foundation or tinted moisturizer, which is always a concern for this type of cream that lays on top of a base. First, the color is gorgeous! It is perfect for Summer because it really warms up the skin and looks great with and without other makeup products. It doesn’t lift my foundation or tinted moisturizer, which is always a concern for this type of cream that lays on top of a base. I really like this blush and it is a first for me with this brand. Recommend!CC+ Natural Matte FoundationI really love the coverage of this product for days when my skin is less than great. I wanted it to work so badly for me, but it seems like I have to heavily moisturize before use and then apply and then set with a setting spray to get it to look mostly okay even then, it is hard to make it work for my skin type. I have dry skin and this foundation really wants to emphasize that when I don’t go through all the steps mentioned above, which is difficult over the Summer. I sweat under all the moisturizer! I look forward to trying this again in cooler weather, but I worry that my skin will be in a drier state then at the same time…. The coverage is top notch though! If you have an oily or normal skin type this might just be your full coverage holy grail!

[Rewarded Review] Pleasantly surprised!

I received this product from BzzAgent in exchange for a honest review.I admittedly had reservations using this product because of my less than stellar experiences with it cosmetics. I wasn't a fan of their shade range in the past and I was only familiar with CC cream as something that wouldn't look best on my oily skin. However, this product addressed both those issues as it was matte and came in a better range of shades, including neutral shades. Even though I had my reservations, I decided to give this a proper try and I'm happy I did. The shade I chose worked really well with my skin tone and the formula itself was nice. I didn't think it made me look too dry and it generally controlled my oil seeping through. I didn't think it made me look too dry and it generally controlled my oil seeping through. I even garnered compliments from several people who told me I look nice and the only change was the foundation. My only reservations are The incompatibility of certain primers and setting powders I use with this product and how it wears with wearing a mask. In terms of prep and setting, I'm still experimenting with my best team for this, but I know for sure that on my skin, something like a balm as a primer doesn't work well for me with this. Results may vary from person to person, though. My other issue is with me wearing this and me wearing a mask afterwards. I wear a mask often for work and my foundation wears off on that really quickly. I would need to wear a different foundation if I'm going to wear a mask or find something that would set this foundation properly.Besides those concerns, I really did like the foundation and I would wear more often.

[Rewarded Review] Shes thick, but easily adjustable. Lasts all day!

I am so grateful to BzzAgent for sending me this CC+ Natural Matte Cream Foundation for free in exchange for my opinion. This review is honest & authentic for this foundation, based on my combo/oily, acne prone, textured skin. This is a VERY matte foundation, and it dries VERY quickly. I advise applying it in sections. I applied it onto the back of my hand & mixed it with some blue+white foundation adjusters as I am a fair/light skintone with neutral-olive undertones, and I noticed immediately how thick the consistency is due to how much adjuster I had to add. It isn't unusual for full coverage tinted moisturizers to have thicker consistencies, however this also oxidizes as it dries down & it does so very quickly. It isn't unusual for full coverage tinted moisturizers to have thicker consistencies, however this also oxidizes as it dries down & it does so very quickly. I had to go in with a lighter concealer to even my complexion out, but that's just a shade issue-I am curious to see if there's a shade I can actually use without too much mixing effort. I wish they had a better shade range. Now, I work in a restaurant as a cashier/waitress/cook, and I've worn this foundation while working a double shift (10am-12am, opened & closed) and I didn't have to touch up as much throughout the day, which I'm usually an oily/sweaty mess within 2 hours. I have some dry patches around my nostril, where my nose was recently pierced 8 weeks ago, and I just had to exfoliate really well in that area & carefully hydrate specific areas of my face. This foundation does seem to sit better on my skin when I have time to let my skincare fully set, but I have mixed it with a hydrating primer serum right after washing my face without any other skincare-it kept it from drying as quickly, which I appreciated.TLDR; great for overly oily skin, a little more effort for combo/dry skin, but I'm sure this will be a great summer date night foundation. It handles my 12+ hr work days beautifully. Dries quickly, can be used for experimenting + mixing with other products to adjust to the different needs of my skin. Needs a better shade range.

[Rewarded Review] Will be perfect for the summer months

I was recently given to try It cosmetics CC+ Natural Matte in the shade Light in exchange for my honest review. I was looking forward to try this product since I have combination skin and live in a hot and humid climate for most of the year and was looking for a product that will stay on, provide sun protection, and control the shine on my t-zone in those hot days. This product definitely delivered addressing those concerns.I used this product for a week and what I loved about it were the following; first, even though it has a thick texture it feels very light on the skin. Not much product is needed to cover the whole face (but do make sure you put enough if this is the only sunblock you'll be using). Once on, it feels very light. Not much product is needed to cover the whole face (but do make sure you put enough if this is the only sunblock you'll be using). Once on, it feels very light. I mainly used my finger to apply it and then just patted the excess away with a sponge or a brush. It truly feels like a second skin. Second thing I love was the coverage. I have some melasma and discoloration and this product even out my complexion and imperfections very well without looking like I had a mask on. A true medium coverage. The third thing I was impress it was how long the product lasted on and how it remained matte throughout the day. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was that at times either on the dryer areas of my face or depending the skin care I used under it, it would get very patchy and dry. Also, since the weather hasn't been too humid nor hot this winter in south Florida, at times the product felt a little bit too drying. However, I think this cc+ will be perfect for the hot spring/summer coming up so I decided to continue using this product then when I will be able to take full advantage of the mattifying effect. Will definitely recommend for people with oily/shiny skin who want a matte finished and a product that gives sun protection and sling care benefits.
