A feedback on color

Hi. I am a fan of this product line. I just want to give a feedback about color. I initially tried CC+ nude glow in light medium in store and fell in love with it. It was such an exact
match for my skin color that I didn't have to blend it so hard and loved the dewyness. However, after wearing it for many hours it seems to oxidized & darken. So I decided to
try Light but it wasn't really much lighter than light medium. After going to beach almost daily I needed more coverage and little bit of brightening so I moved onto full
coverage foundation product line. I should have probably tried Fair Light but I got Fair and now it was too fair and too full coverage for me. So I started mixing it ... Show more

I love the Your Skin But Better Illuminating CC cream. This is very similar in terms of what's great about it, it feels very lightweight (like you're wearing nothing!) but it
somehow has great coverage. This one is supposed to be more medium coverage than high coverage, but I didn't notice a big difference. I wouldn't say it's especially glowy,
if you want a lot of glow, stick with the illuminating version. However, this one will have a place in my kit because this formula comes in more shades for some reason

I already have a couple of the other versions of their CC cream, but wanted to try this for when I wanted a slightly more dewy finish. I wasn't disappointed, its a super-light silky
fluid and imparts a beautiful natural skin-like finish with a translucent glow. The only thing to note is that the shades tend to run dark; the shade 'light' is more like a medium
shade. Having said that, it does seem to blend in really well, but I'd still tend to use this more into Spring/Summer. I bought 'fair porcelain' in addition to mix a little into the
light shade customising a perfect creamy neutral beige. I did previously try going down a shade, but this didn't work as the shades then become either too pale ... Show more

Grandma's super slippery hand cream
14 July 2024
I tried. I really, really, reallyyyy did. I tried with my primer/without/completely bare...no matter if just a thin layer or a little more for coverage, it just felt and looked GREASY. Not dewy or glowing (lol). Literally like I just used my 80 year old grandmother's hand lotion on my face. It even smells like her hand lotion. At 32, I'll hold off on the senior citizen-esque feel/smell. Personally, I wouldn't call this a foundation whatsoever. Tinted moisturizer 100% and boy oh boy, they do mean MOISTURIZER. A shame, I was hoping so badly to find something lightweight but buildable. With this texas heat, I do not need the extra slippery feeling on my face. The humidity does that all on its own just fine...not to mention, I swear this stuff would sting from time to time!... Show more

Great for a light to medium finish
5 June 2024
I really enjoy this cc cream, i use the shade fair porcelain. I am so glad they expanded the shade range because i have heard so many wonderful things about the cc cream but never could use it because the shades were to dark for me. I wanted a light to medium coverage that had a natural finish. I find that i get that with this and it is eash to build from light to medium. I apply it with a damp beauty blender and it blends into my skin nicely. If you have very oily skin you may need to be careful with this as i have combination skin and i do get dewy at the end of the day. However i use a dewy primer and setting spray and i like that look. I like that it is better for my skin than traditional foundation and it has suncreen in it. I work 9-10 hour days and the ... MoreI really enjoy this cc cream, i use the shade fair porcelain. Great Shade Match- too pricey
18 September 2024
Picked this up on recommendation when I went in for a color match. I have super pale, difficult to color match skin. Most brands don't have a shade match for me or they oxidize so bad I can't wear it. Nars has my shade but all formulas break me out. I've always found with my natural skin tone that a lot of foundations dry down and look chalky if they don't oxidize. I have combo skin, on the oilier side in my t zone area, acne prone and sensitive too. This does not break me out or bother my skin. I think because of the "glow" it doesn't appear chalky in my shade and I love that but its also not too glowy. It gives medium coverage like it claims to. I apply with a sponge after applying the IT cosmetics concealer. This does seperate some around my nose by the end of ... MorePicked this up on recommendation when I went in for a color match. I apply with a sponge after applying the IT cosmetics concealer. This does seperate some around my nose by the end of the day, but I can tap around and blend it back out. I have that issue with all foundations. I do think this is way to pricey, it should be more in the $30 range at most- but a little also goes a long way for me. A pump covers my entire face. If you want more coverage, I recommend the original formula or to use the concealer in spot areas before applying this.... Show more

Like the product, trying to find the right shade
18 April 2024
I really like the Nude Glow product versus the regular CC cream. I have oily skin, large pores, and some visible wrinkles. The Nude Glow doesn't settle as much or give me as "mottled" a finish as the regular CC cream did, and it still has a nice amount of SPF protection. My only problem is finding the best shade. I originally ordered "light medium" (online from Ulta) and found it to be a bit too dark for my skin tone, but I've been applying it lightly to work through it (too $$ to waste). I recently ordered the next lighter shade, "light," directly from IT Cosmetics. I was surprised to find that it's actually DARKER than the "light medium" I already had (see uploaded pics). Hopefully I can work through the newer, darker tube this summer when I get a bit more color ... MoreI really like the Nude Glow product versus the regular CC cream. Hopefully I can work through the newer, darker tube this summer when I get a bit more color naturally (also too $$ to waste). I'll definitely buy this product again, but next time I'll buy in person to get a better read on the color. As an FYI, I had purchased lighter shades in the original CC cream (before trying Nude Glow), but the light pigment separated out immediately after application on my oily skin (over IT moisturizer) and didn't leave me with a nice finish, so I've hesitated to order a very light version of the Nude Glow so far, but may have to try one.... LOVE IT FOUND MY EVERYDAY FOUNDATION
23 March 2024
I had tried many of the IT foundations, from the powders to many of the different cream foundations to see which one I like best. I didn't think I would like this one at all as some of the reviews said it was sticky and figured ok I'll try it and if I dont like it, I'm allowed to return it. Well, I love it ! I chose the usual shade that I buy which is medium tan, it has a tinge of yellowness in it, but once you blend it in, it changes color to match my skin tone, I think because it is a color correcting formula. I am surprised that I like it that much. I think I found my "go to" foundation. What I like about it is that it is a light weight serum, not heavy at all. And....it is not sticky at all for me ! I think I will be buying this again as my everyday foundation, plus this one came with a different kind of brush that is smaller in size. It does give a nice subtle glow to the skin.... Show more

Trust the reviews on this one.

If you're like me and have tried all kinds and know a good one when you see it/try it, you most likely will pass on this one. Ive watched ads and heard the hype on this brand for years, and finally thought I'd try it. The other reviews are correct, its orange. Too orange, like its already oxidized. I went much lighter based on the reviews, and still too orange. If you have cool undertones, dont even consider it. I will say that it felt good on my face, and blended well, but that's not enough to make a foundation worth it; it's supposed to look natural and this doesn't. This also didnt help my aging skin and I noticed thst in pictures that were taken. It didn't make my face oily and felt nice throughout the day, but again, it just wasnt a natural finish. Even with the best makeup application on your eves, lips and cheeks, if your foundation isnt right, it throws off your whole face. I don't regret buying it, because now I know I dont like it & I'll return it. There's definitely better options out there, for the same price or less expensive.... Show more

Will Not purchase this CC again!
15 January 2024
Purchased late September so I will not be able to return the Duo I just opened. Ran out of my Bye Bye Foundation which I have used for years and like. Host and models made it sound as a flawless skin treatment with smoothing color good to use for daily activities even to go to the gym and not looking made up. Well, I purchased Neutral Tan the same as in Bye Bye Foundation. 1.-Color is so much darker; 2-3 shades darker and it looks like a fake tan color. 2.-It's blotchy and does not go smooth and creamy as Bye Bye Foundation. 3.-It has a different kind of sunscreen. I don't know if it is that, the fragrance or all the other chemicals that make my eyes burn. When comparing the list of ingredients Bye Bye seems a little safer.
