However this kit does not disappoint , lots of detail in the engine and weapons bay, wing pylons and weapons included . the only disappointment was the decals do not have all the light tapes that cover the panel joins on the aircraft ,I guess i will be masking these myself . Every bit as good as the academy F-35 I recommend this kit .

This is my guilty pleasure! I havent done models since I was a child, but given current circumstances thought I would. Given modelling is a great distraction, absorbing and calming. The kit: not a disappointment. Highly detailed, even down to transfers for the pilots seat harness! Hardly an internal space isnt filled and the engine detail, including lift fan is impressive on its own. Just a shame its not visible in the final model. All parts fit together well, and the moulds are clean. Only two pieces of advice I would offer are ensure you read the instructions thought (shouldnt you always!). There are a few options hidden (such as having the canopy open) which are not easily picked up. Secondly Im not sure Italeris colours match the aircrafts true colour FS36170

Great kit, fairly easy to assemble and looks good when painted. Decals are easy to work with and settle well with Decal soft. Highly recommended.
at first glance i dismissed this model because it is so modern, however reconsidered it as it is the aircraft now being operated by 617 Squadron (The Dam busters)

A very detailed kit in every way. Plenty of parts, for rotated or in-flight engine, and loads of ordnance.
An excellent kit of this revolutionary aircraft. Recessed surface detail, accurate shape , great fit, and full weapons set - what more could I ask for?I built my kit fully opened up, ready for a vertical take-off. With minimal modification it could could be built closed up as parked, or in flight.Thoroughly enjoyed building my model.
