I had such high hopes for this. It has such good reviews, and i saw a few where people said their dog got diarrhea. I had hoped this wouldn't happen to my groodle pup. Alas, three days of sleepless nights later I have to give it 1 star. Still on the hunt for different foods for her as she seems to have a mystery itch and testing to see if its chicken, grain etc that she might be allergic to.

Very disappointed in the new look. I have been feeding my puppy this product for months with no issues. First time buying this product with the new look and I have noticed a lot more has changed other then the packet (the kibble size, nutritional content). My puppy has been experiencing digestive and behavioural issue ever since. Bring back the old product!

I transitioned my 6 month old rottweiler puppy onto Ivory Coat Large Breed Puppy Lamb 3 weeks ago (after trying other "premium foods" without success) and the results have been AMAZING!His coat was dull and he had toileting issues on other brands prior to Ivory Coat, but NOW he looks brilliant; his coat is glossy and sleek, his toiling habits are now normal (thank goodness!) and best of all he LOVES his food.Although his breed are usually big eaters, he was a fussy one from the get go - often not finishing his meals and was not at all excited about food. BUT Ivory Coat changed all that - as soon as I opened the first bag he was interested and now happily digs into his meals - clearly loving every mouthful. We are thrilled with the product and HIGHLY recommend ... MoreI transitioned my 6 month old rottweiler puppy onto Ivory Coat Large Breed Puppy Lamb 3 weeks ago (after trying other "premium foods" without success) and the results have been AMAZING!His coat was dull and he had toileting issues on other brands prior to Ivory Coat, but NOW he looks brilliant; his coat is glossy and sleek, his toiling habits are now normal (thank goodness!) and best of all he LOVES his food.Although his breed are usually big eaters, he was a fussy one from the get go - often not finishing his meals and was not at all excited about food. We started on Ivory Coat when we first picked up our Australian Shepherd pup because we had received a sample bag. Our pup loved it it but unfortunately after a few months the store we bought Ivory Coat from either moved or closed down so because of this we tried another brand of food. During this time our pup also developed a skin condition that required antibiotics and his tummy had a digestive issues. We then tried vet recommended food and probiotics. This did help but it was very expensive so we slowly transitioned back to the previous brand and straight away our pup had tummy issues again. Intuition told us to find a supplier for Ivory Coat again and that is how we came across My Pet Warehouse who now deliver all of our pup food to our house. My 16 month old Bull Arab X has always been happy to eat this. I find I don't have to feed her as much food as is suggested for her weight so quite good value for money. My only criticism is the plastic slider that opens/closes the bag always dislodges which makes the bag really hard to open......very frustrating.
My puppy (miniature schnauzer) came to me with diarrhea and a very bloated tummy. He is a bit sensitive to certain foods but I started him on Ivory coat and vola he has become so energetic , healthy and a very well behaved pup. The bonus of this food is the serving size to satisfy your dog is smaller than other brands and definitely satisfies my puppy.I want to try my dog on the puppy food for large breeds (lamb flavoured) as well as the chicken for puppies, but need to know if I can.I highly recommend Ivory coat food to any puppy. 10 /10
The biscuits are half the size they were. We have three dogue de bordeauxs and go thru so much of these biscuits. They've had it for years and I'm so disappointed with the new size of the biscuits. I know they are for large breed "puppy's" but the old size was perfect. They love the flavour but I think I'll be looking for a new grain free alternative as our eldest girl chokes on the smaller kibble.
We adopted a Staghound X Whippet in December, she's a highly active and energetic large, young pup that needed a high quality, heathy kibble to accompany her raw side dishes. And she (Latte) loves Ivory Coat so much! We have 2 Staghounds, both rescues and they have been on ivory coat for nearly 10 months and it's the best decision we ever made. Our entire friendship group who all have rescue dogs have all loved their fur kids to ivory coat this year. When work colleagues and family ask for our recommendations we hands down say ivory coat, it's an 11/10 for us and we wont ve changing kibble.
I used to feed my staffy X puppy the "Royal Canin maxi Puppy" and she never had any issues with her poops or energy, but she was never really that interested in the kibble so i thought i'd try a different brand to find one she likes. I've done a slow change, gradually switching to Ivory coat, but unfortunately she now seems to either struggle to poop and it being a very hard consistency or it's diarrhoea. ( Sorry for the details) and her energy level is lower than normal. Unfortunately my only positive thing to say is that she seems to like the taste of it more.
We have used this product for a few years now with great success (it's been great to keep weight on our adult working dogs as well as our puppies). Why on earth would the manufacturers remove the coconut oil and replace it with canola oil? We won't be buying it in future.
