This is a favorite soap for me. As some soaps/shampoos attract mosquitos; Ivory original scent does not and helps to heal and repels mosquitos.I also slather providone/iodine solution after drying off slightly to help with healing and then rinse after it becomes slightly Tacky Then rinse. There is a risidual smeel the mosquitos do not like.If you suffer from mosquito bites that never seem to heal and have destroyed many of your good sheets please try this.

I have been bathing with Ivory soap since I was 5 years old. at 50 years old today the soap is still the greatest and mildest and easy on the nose smelling soap. it cleans your body very well. it works very well. unfortunately it doesn't last long. a good trick is to have two bars of soap out at the same time and use one bar one day then switch over and use the second bar then switch over back to the first bar. this way you're letting the other bar dry out for 24 hours. this allows for the bar of soap to last longer. I highly recommend Ivory bar soap this truly no other soap as great as ivory. I'm very disappointed that the price has risen on this soap. We need to lower the price so that I can buy more of it.

I've noticed there's alot of fake reviews lately on target and walmarts websites slandering ivory saying formulas changed and it no longer floats or lathers different and different smell blah blah and its all a load of crap. Ingredients on back are identical and it works the exact same it has for me all my life. And yes it still floats in water. I hope P%26G go after all those who are attemping to slander this iconic soap . BTW if you filter the reviews to verified purchases majority of those fake reviews don't show up which confirms they're fake

I stopped using Ivory soap a long time ago (probably about 15 years ago) because it had tallow (cow fat) in it. Now the formula is changed so it doesn't have tallow in it anymore! Hooray!Ivory soap is good for my exzema. My skin likes when I use Ivory soap. It smells good and has a subtle smell. The smell isn't as strong of a smell as Old spice and Lush soaps have, so the smell doesn't compete with deodorant or perfumeIvory soap doesn't float anymore but I never cared that it floated anywayIt lathers well and works well. I feel all clean after I use it! I love that I can use Ivory soap again!

Tried and true. No fake scents added. Started using Ivory exclusively many years ago when my husband developed a sensitivity to perfumes. Initially I really wanted to use all the highly scented soaps, but as time went on, I came to appreciate not having yet another thing that had a fake scent attached to it.Now, many years later, I literally cannot abide anything heavily scented and am happy to be just plain old clean! Added bonus, the price is reasonable vs. paying almost $2.00 for one bar of soap.
I use this instead of shampoo with a cider vinegar rinse. It leaves my hair soft and manageable better then and shampoo and conditioner ever did. I will NEVER go back to regular shampoo again. I also like that it doesn't leave any scents like most shampoos do. I hate the smells of shampoo no matter the scent. Also the vinegar rinse doesnt leave any odor either. Of course I give my hair a good rinse after letting the vinegar sit for 3 or 4 minutes.
this bar soap use to be perfect been using it for a long time. till one day got a pack and noticed the bar soap was completely different!!! the way they changed the soap is almost depressing. it used to be original but its like any other soap it doesnt even float anymore. i will probably be switching to something else like lever 2000 or stock up on the old designed first then start looking for another soap. it really does suck they changed the way they did their bar soap
