These knives look like they are made well, they are sharp, and I like the feature that they never need sharpened. However, the metal in these knives were thinner than I expected, so they have some bend in them when being used. I'm afraid they might break, but I have had them for two months and nothing has happened yet.

They feel sturdy and cut smoothly. They have a classic look, not the most elegant but very nice. They're lightweight, although they don't feel flimsy. I generally prefer something with a little more heft, but for the price I think these are a great product.
I have the Zwilling J.A. Henckels butcher block with assorted knives. A couple of the steak knives bent ever so slightly at the tip, and snagged on my dish towels. I contacted Zwilling customer service and sent a photo asking for assistance in having the knives repaired, and Zwilling sent me a replacement set immediately. I use the various knives for all types of food prep and my kitchen wouldn’t be complete without my Zwilling knives!
Great product for the price. Purchased these to replace steak knives that are over 30 years old that have lost their function ability. These are great. Also from the same manufacturer of our other knives that we have recently purchased.
Bought these to replace 7 year old still sharp but broken Wolfgang Puck steak knives. Great sharp knives but the handles all cracked & fell off tang 1 after the other. Haven’t had these Henkels long but they’re very sharp & the hubby is quite happy, they’ve cut everything they’ve been tasked with so far. We hope to enjoy these for many many years if they stay sharp true to their name. They’re very light knives which was a surprise to us, we expected them to be heavier but hey, if they get the job done who cares?
I purchased these knives with confidence because of the henckels name. I am very disappointed. They do not cut very well and the blades are showing signs of rust. I tried to return them to Macys and they told me it was past the return time frame.I would not suggest them because they are rusting.
This set was purchased to replace some cheap steak knives that rust too easily. These knives have a nice polished finish with a sharp serrated type edge. I left one of these knives in water for a couple days which would rust my old knives and this polished stainless finish was great! No rusting at all! I haven't used these knives in meat yet but cutting an apple was not as easy as I expected. While the edge is sharp, the teeth grab making it a bit more difficult to slice an apple. Not really a bad thing, just different in how to cut. Overall, these knives are a considerable improvement from what I had before and I expect them to last a long time!
My knives must've fallen out of package during the shipping process because one of the tips on the knife was bent. It was bent within the card board box??? So that tells me the steel is not strong. I have had and have replaced the more Henckel TWIN gourmet steak knives and have never had a blade bend out of shape and a few are about 17 years old. I got these because my kids have accidentally thrown the other ones away so I figured I could save a couple of bucks. BIG MISTAKE! I have also tried slicing an apple into four pieces and the blade turns a little so I end up with uneven pieces. Again, if these were the only knives I have ever used, then I wouldve been OK with the purchase. But I have a few left of the gourmet series and you really can't compare.
