I have had this chair for apx 1 year. The fabric has already worn out on the front of the seat and the backrest is sloppy and unstable.

Good quality comfortable and practical

Tried this chair in store and really liked it, it worked fine. Bought it home and after a couple of uses the gas system stopped working. The guy at officeworks was really nice and said i could return it but there is very little stock atm, due to everyone WFH so i will be stuck without a chair. Overall, very disappointing considering it was one of the more expensive chairs to choose from, as a student it was a big investment and unfortunately not worth it at all.

Like sitting on a board with a bolt sticking out
6 March 2020

I've had this for a few years but with very little use as I have a standup desk and rarely use my computer at home because I have a spinal injury and it hurts to sit.... especially on this chair. It's so uncomfortable! I've never used it for more than a few hours a week at the absolute most. The foot rest doesn't stay up and never has no matter how much of a death grip you use to tighten it, you certainly can't put any weight on it. The padding on the chair is rubbish, so thin that it’s basically just fabric on a board but with a bolt that stabs you in the backside. Don’t diy on your foot as it’s very painful when you land on the bolt by mistake. The back rest is not supportive at all and terrible if you have spinal injuries combined with sitting on a hard board, I ... MoreI've had this for a few years but with very little use as I have a standup desk and rarely use my computer at home because I have a spinal injury and it hurts to sit.... especially on this chair. The back rest is not supportive at all and terrible if you have spinal injuries combined with sitting on a hard board, I suffer in terrible pain for days if I've have any time sitting at the desk on this chair. It is as comfortable as sitting on a timber board. Maybe that's the point.... Maybe they intentionally make them so uncomfortable that you'll stand. I asked my flatmate to feel the padding and his response was: what padding. I actually have to sit on a cushion. Definitely not deluxe as the name suggests. Good news, my cat likes to sit on it and I’ve had no issue with the gas lift but that could be because I can’t use the chair for longer than 5 mins without pain. Super sad as it looked great and the height is awesome.

Nice in concept but don't expect it to last long
11 September 2019

Within 12 months of buying this chair, the gas had given out and it no longer worked as intended. This chair is a total waste of your money. (I know it could have been replaced under warranty but unfortunately, I couldn't locate the receipt. From other reviews, it's pretty clear that getting a replacement chair doesn't actually fix the problem, it just guarantees that you are back and forth to Officeworks each year if you are lucky enough for the gas to give out within the 12 month warranty period).

No Gas refill available
18 February 2019

I have had 2 of these chairs and even though they are comfy, the gas runs out after 12 months, fine, but Officeworks do not supply or sell gas refills for this chair. Last time i took it back it happened to within the warranty period so they gave me a new chair, which was nice of them, but here i am again, a year later and i can't keep my chair at the height i need it. I am loath to take it back as it is a massive waste to be getting a new chair every 12 months for, which i am sure, they will just throw out.Come on Officeworks! If you sell a chair with parts that need to be replaced every 12 months then supply the parts we need!!!

Poor quality chair
22 July 2020

When I bought this chair the adjustable backrest broke within 3 months. Officeworks kindly arranged a replacement, but within 6 months the replacement chair's gas seemed to run out and you could no longer raise the height of the chair. Not recommended.

Really like this chair

Very comfy to sit on, has enough back support and very sturdy. It also doesn't take up a lot of space and easy to move around in.

Very dodgy
8 April 2019

I bought this and it didn't even work on first assembly because the gas system didn't work. For the price, there should be better attention on quality control.
