I had been interested in this type of mouse for a while, and seeing it at a good price compelled me to try it. The shape and orientation of the mouse is definitely a practical and helpful design. You will think all mice should be shaped this way. The wheel and buttons work as expected, though it's only been a day. There are some design aspects, however, that hinder recommendation, other than to experiment. First, the two thumb buttons are too close together and awkward to distinguish. One button below and one above might have been a better design. Second, there is no specific driver, so you cannot change acceleration or speed, which is important with this type of mouse as the availability of a rest pad means not having to lift the mouse often. Third, the movement of the mouse will not wake the computer from sleep, or at the very least, when sleep is imminent, screen dims and it won't prevent the computer display from blanking or other actions in the sleep/power saving process. I can click to wake it up, but I don't know or may not want to click where the cursor is. There may be other issues that I have yet to encounter, but this final one is a barrier. I encourage the manufacturer to resolve issues like the ones mentioned, which are expected on standard mice. A low cost mouse like this that works would really get people to open their mind to change and relieve their wrists and hand.

I have bought two of these mouses. No issues with battery life, but the first one I got, the scrolling wheel broke about after 2 months. The second one I got will randomly go back a page when I click on occasion, which is very frustrating. Use the scrolling wheel to click on things also only registers occasionally. The feel of the mouse is comfortable, but not worth the frustration of using it.

Ergonomic Mouse is the new standard. Had this mouse for 6mnths. It has been a game changer, my Husband even got one for work. Sadly the scroll button broke today. I will be purchasing an ergonomic mouse of better quality. Glad I bought a cheap one to trial, just do not expect longevity

Good inexpensive vertical mouse
11 April 2023

Have used mine almost everyday for over 18 months and it still works just fine. I wanted to try a vertical mouse and this seemed like an accessible price point - I have not been disappointed. Using a different orientation to a standard mouse can take some adjustment, but if you experience pain, or simple frustration, with the 'usual' mouse and a trackball is too different - this vertical mouse is worth considering.Other reviews say it feels 'cheap', sure and yes, it is made of plastic. The plastic has a matte finish to it that I really appreciate - especially in cold weather. It has all the standard buttons and a scroll wheel and mine. Before this vertical mouse, I had a definite preference for trackballs, but they are getting hard to find and the vertical orientation is actually more comfortable (based on my experience with this mouse). If you are curious about vertical mice, I found this one well worth the purchase.

Great Mouse, Eliminated My Daily Wrist Pain
21 October 2019

I got this mouse just over 2 Weeks ago and I love it. I sit in front of a computer all day for work and I use the mouse constantly. Mouse work had become very tiresome & painful. I kept having to stop my work every so often & massage my forearm, trying to get the blood flowing again. I was beginning to think I was getting carpal tunnel. This mouse is great. Ergonomic design makes it easy to hold, it's lightweight & I for one have had no issues with battery life. I often forget to switch it off at night, but it has a sleep mode. So it's all good. The batteries that came with it are still going strong.I wouldn't not recommend this for a child or someone with very small hands though. Many design flaws
26 November 2019

Within a couple hours use, I discovered the mouse was not faulty but had many design flaws. Including:1) Low DPI settings of 800, 1200, 1600. In order to reduce strain, high res sensors can reduce the distance required to move. I normally use 2400 - 3200 DPI for tiny movements over a large, high res screen.2) The mouse body is made of plastic so thin it slightly deforms under pressure.3) The mouse wheel is so sensitive that pressing it as a button can cause accidental scrolling.4) Using as 2nd mouse on same Windows PC is not possible as mouse does not have custom software to configure speed and acceleration. Changing Windows settings will change all connected mice.5) The sliding pads have too much friction. Sliding makes a scraping noise and had noticeably more friction than the Logitech mouse I was comparing to.6) The main left and right buttons require more pressure to press because they are mounted some-what side ways.7) Worst of all, the main left and right mouse buttons are of poor quality, they can produce multiple clicks while being clicked or held. There is not a clear mechanical up/down state as per better quality switches. On the good side, the angle of the mouse did reduce RSI wrist pain and the wireless design was convenient. The price was also affordable. However the flaws and choice of poor quality button switches ultimately made the device unusable for me.

Opinion changed after 4 months of use
17 September 2022

I initially wrote a review after first buying this mouse with the title "A cheap demo of vertical mice"I have now used it for around 60 hours a week for four months and can say this is my favourite mouse, and I own several types of mice including productivity focused, gaming and ergonomic mice.Apart from the Kensington vertical mouse, this is the only vertical mouse that has a rest for your ring and little fingers. While the Logitech Vertical has enough space for your fingers to rest on the mouse, they tend to slip off and drag along the desk.Durability has also surprised me, I am constantly knocking this off my desk because I forgot how tall it is, and have not had even a scratch on it.I have since bought 2 more just in case one fails and Officeworks sell ... MoreI initially wrote a review after first buying this mouse with the title "A cheap demo of vertical mice"I have now used it for around 60 hours a week for four months and can say this is my favourite mouse, and I own several types of mice including productivity focused, gaming and ergonomic mice.Apart from the Kensington vertical mouse, this is the only vertical mouse that has a rest for your ring and little fingers. Poor Battery Life & Failed Scroll Wheel
16 December 2019

This is a cheap ergonomic mouse which I bought about 5 months ago. I had been considering a Logitech version, but I wasn't sure that the ergonomic design would suit my day-to-day use and I was therefore more inclined to spend less on a 'trial' version. However the design is good and worked for me and I was comfortable with the overall operation of the device. However, as others have pointed out, the battery life is miserable, such that what I saved in purchase costs has likely gone in replacement batteries. Not sure why their particular laser pointing device is so hard on the juice. The real problem with this device emerged when the scrolling started going into reverse and then into several other gears I wasn't familiar with, skipping all over the place and ... MoreThis is a cheap ergonomic mouse which I bought about 5 months ago. Was great but now faulty…
23 May 2024

As others have mentioned - a great mouse and comfortable to hold, however faulty after only a few months of use. Some type of connection issue and will only work intermittently. Replacing batteries doesn’t work. A shame because it’s an otherwise good product.

Got this mouse as an emergency back up mouse for work a couple months ago. it's very comfortable to hold and the plastic texture was really nice. worked right away after plugging in the transceiver. no issues there. HOWEVER.The material it was made of gathers oil quickly and thus the finish has pretty much rubbed off and the places where my fingers and palm rests have pretty much turned into shiny spots that contrasts with the original finish. the scroll wheel, while works fine, i had to get used to middle clicking since you'll have to push it pretty much horizonally. would have been nice if it was designed more like a horizontal scroll on regular mice (so i can slide my index finger down instead of having to push laterally). and lastly would have been nice if the ... MoreGot this mouse as an emergency back up mouse for work a couple months ago. it's very comfortable to hold and the plastic texture was really nice. worked right away after plugging in the transceiver. no issues there.
