Can't hold weight properly

My monitor is only 3kg and the arm will sometimes randomly drop forward. The arm itself will definitely hold the weight, but the pivot where the monitor rests and tilts
definitely doesn't. I'm just glad the entire arm feels sturdy, if the actual arm itself were to collapse I'd be left with a shattered $1.5k monitor. Over all I love the actual arm of
this, although it could be a bit more flexible in positioning. For example the arm if you want to move the monitor actually comes TOWARD your desk, not away from it,
meaning the back of your desk if you had anything there you have to move it and make room for the arm to come inwards. I have a synthesizer on mine, so if I n... Show more

Had this for about 6 months - it works so well that I bought one for my brother, too! The SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING is to adjust the tension in the spring. I nearly thought
mine was broken, until I read the instructions fully. It is absolutely essential that you adjust the tension in the spring that holds the arm up so it matches your monitor's weight,
otherwise it will flop down for heavy monitors and spring up for light monitors. After adjusting it, you should be able to move your monitor up and down without any problem.
There are multiple negative reviews from people who claim the height isn't adjustable or that it doesn't hold their monitor up. I think the current low rating (3.9 a... Show more

Very happy with the arm. Good instructions. Nice solid construction. The negative comments almost put me off it. However, I’m happy to say that I’ve had zero problems with
it. Easy to install. Easy to adjust. Looks good.

For an average home set up this may work well, but I've got my desk planned out for all my audio production work and graphic design work, and unfortunately it just doesn't work.... Show more

Excellent quality & smart, considerate design
14 May 2020
So happy I bought these, rather than the cheaper ones available. I have a much more expensive unit by Dell at work, and I got these for home, and this is far better. The base is smart: 3 height settings to adjust for literally any thickness of desk, and you can adjust without removing bolts due to a simple, hook design for each level of thickness (tighten using the turn knob). That was the first sign of smart design. Next, each screen can easily be mounted and removed by one person. You first half-install the two top screws to the rear of the monitor, and then you hang it like a picture frame on the two U-shaped lips for the top two screws. With the monitor hanging, you can then install and tighten the rest of the screws, which all have big heads that you can grip ... MoreSo happy I bought these, rather than the cheaper ones available. With the monitor hanging, you can then install and tighten the rest of the screws, which all have big heads that you can grip and turn with your hand, with the final tightening done with a screwdriver. Smart, and so considerate! Plus, the base is super sturdy.. when you install it you can feel it's not going to jiggle around. The arms are excellent and can get high enough so that, finally, I don't feel like I'm going to start slouching to look down into the lower areas of the screen. The cable management clips are simple and seems a bit flimsy, but they work really well and have enough space to fit the 3 cables that come out of each of my monitors. I can't really see the cables at all anymore. The two USB ports at the front are independent pass-throughs and not a hub (so, two cables to your PC). That's actually a good thing. Plus, they're blue, so I'm assuming they're USB3.0. This is a great product. I'm so happy with it I came here at 10.45 at night specifically to write this review. More power to good producers!... Great quality build - Read before bad reviews
20 July 2021
I'm an IT manager and have bought this for all of the desks at our workplace, as well as one for my home office. Like some of the negative reviews on here (1 and 2 stars), I used for a few months and then noticed that the screens started to tilt downwards under their own weight and was really disappointed. However, I then noticed that you can remove the plastic caps over the section where it tils and tighten a bolt that prevents this from happening. Each different point of movement on this arm can be adjusted and tightened/loosened to match your monitor's weight. I also love the mounting options (clamp to desk or drill one small hole for mid desk mounting). Highly recommend.... Show more

Pretty good but has fault
16 October 2022
The arms are adjustable and can be tightened in every spot apart from the one where it fails. I have found that cables pull the bottom of the monitor downward which tilts the screen forward. This hinge is not adjustable. The provided cable management does not help this issue. I had the make sure there is enough slack and then zip tie the slack to stop the issue... Show more

Screen tilted after one week
23 April 2022
I bought this monitor arm a few months ago, however, it didn't take long for both monitors to tilt downward, despite being under the specified weight limit. Unfortunately, despite many attempts to try and rectify this, I have water bottles holding my screens up as there doesn't seem to be a way to be able to tighten or repair the tilting function. I would not recommend this product.... Show more

Strong, Stable, Reliable
27 April 2022
Ignore the 1 Star reviews. There are a number of screw points which will adjust the tension of the arms, which changes how much weight they can hold. Once these are set correctly, these things are excellent. Bought 2 months ago, holding 2 x 27" displays, can set to any height and position with ease. They are stable, very strong and do not randomly sag. Highly recommend. Very well priced. Don't Cheap out, but don't spend a fortune either. Very well priced.... Show more

terrible hinges
16 July 2022
I bought this 5 months ago and it was definitely NOT worth the price. every now and again one of the hinges for my monitor would come free and fully tilt down the monitor to the point of it lying face down on my desk. it would always be able to tilt back up to its original position but in the morning it was lying face down and after trying to re just the monitor it was no use. don't waste your money on this just because it is from a reputable company like Officeworks....
