An overall great webcam that is at a decent price. A very easy plug-and-play camera with a very crisp image and sound.Some things preventing me from giving this a full 5 stars:- Has now a simple software program to download from the creators website to customize some of the settings of the camera. Wish there was a few more options to customize it, but still overall happen I can change some of the picture settings.- Biggest thing I have noticed however is that since there is a lack of an off-switch on it, it is still using some power. Besides the little red light, the top of the unit is a little warm from using some electricity even when it is not in use. As a result, I decided to play it safe and purchase a FIFTY DOLLAR web cam that claims to have 1080p and 30 HZ refresh rate specs.I nearly failed my exam due to the poor function of this product. Overall the quality of this camera is pretty good, plug & play and no grief setting it up.The clip and stand works well with most LCD's and the rotation is a nice touch. One caveat though, if you have a skinny bezel monitor it will block the screen about ~1 cm. Nice that it has the option to be tripod mounted to avoid this situation but then your spending enough money that you could upgrade to a different camera without this issue (unless you have a tripod handy to begin with).One caveat - not sure why they did this but the field of view is crazy wide which fair enough some people may want that but the distortion around the edge is weird; it curves the image a lot. If you're like me and still need a webcam, I think this one has great quality at a great price.

But they tend to misbehave from time to time and there aren't any driver updates to address there. We're using them with Windows 10 Pro (with latest hotfixes), and there are times the camera thinks it's still on (green light lit) even after a meeting has ended and Teams/Zoom or the camera app is shut down. This requires manually unplugging and re-plugging the camera's USB cable. On occasion, it requires a reboot of the PC as well, because the device suddenly stops showing in the Device Manager. I had a bad experience with this item. Firstly, I tried to mount it to my webcam stand and use it to take a proctored exam. I got it in the mount but once I went to adjust it, the screw that holds the camera itself to the factory base was not screwed into the camera all the way and pulled out the camera. I couldn’t remedy the issue because the factory base has silicone on it for use when setting it on a monitor. I was able to sandwich it between the articulating base and use it for my exam. Secondly, I had to use the laptop webcam to verify my identity because the proctor could not clearly see anything on my license- it was too blurry. I have since returned this camera and gotten a Logitech and have had no issues with mounting or clarity.
