Make sure to do this! Once fully charged, I attempted to connect them to my surface tablet that I use for work and my personal phone pixel 7 pro. The surface tablet automatically recognized a new device trying to pair so connection was quick and easy. Connecting to the Pixel 7 pro required resetting the pairing mode on the earbuds but once ready to pair they also connected quickly. The Jabra Elite 4 True Wireless Earbuds are meant to connect to 2 devices so you can seamlessly transfer from one audio source to another. This was not the case.I first started with streaming Spotify on my phone. I opened YouTube on my surface tablet and pressed play on a video. It didn't switch to that audio source until I cancelled/paused the audio from the phone so you still have to interact with it prior to switching over. When it does switch over there is a delay in starting the audio so the video will play with no sound for about a second or two. When I went from YouTube to Spotify, it was the same issue. You have to pause the video and then continue on Spotify.Next I tried with Zoom since I take work phone calls on my desktop - surface tablet through Zoom. When I'm playing Spotify on my phone and someone calls me on Zoom, there is no ringer so you won't know if someone is trying to call you unless you're connected to the computer at the time or you're looking at the screen while the call comes in. Hopefully this can be fixed with a software update. I also was not able to answer the zoom call with 1x tap of the right earbud but it does work on the phone. The volume up and down triggers work as intended but are a bit awkward at times and will continue increasing the volume even when you want it to stop at a certain threshold.Aside from this feature not being the best it could be, it still works with a little extra effort on the users part but not ideal for what these earbuds are meant to be.If you're just using for music, this budget friendly option is a good option but not a great one in my opinion. The earbuds do get uncomfortable in my ear but they are very snug. Sound isolation with ANC works as intended and blocks out outside noise as well as I could hope. You can program the sound signature in the app for your liking but overall sound signature is good. The case size is comparable to airpods or pixel buds pro case so you can fit it in your pocket without it bulging out and it uses USB C for charging.I would recommend this for the casual user who will want the option to switch between a computer and a phone without the hassle of having to disconnect or unpair while switching. It has its flaws but it works as intended.

Once downloaded and opened, just open the case for the earphones and within a short time they are paired. You then go through the personalisation process, which is easy to follow and allows you to configure the earphones to your liking. I found the adjustment for the Active Noise Cancellation did not have a massive effect, but was noticeable. The feature to find the headphones if lost is good in broad terms, it remembers where the case was last opened, this is good, but would benefit from being more accurate.Sound quality is very good, and the ANC does not seem to be good, until I saw my next door neighbour cutting their grass, but I had not heard the lawnmower!! The ANC seems to cut out some frequencies really well, but I can still hear traffic and people speaking, but it is greatly reduced.I have made some phone calls and the microphones do an excellent job of isolating my voice to the point that the person on the other end did not realise I was not on my phone directly, I used it while out walking my dogs to free up my hands, and it was a fantastic experience! If I had come into these from anything but the Sonys I would have been really impressed, as they stand, they are some excellent earphones, with very good sound quality, and excellent fit and a fantastic small form factor for both the earphones and their case. The Sonys however have better sound quality and better noise cancelling, as well as more options for the buttons on the earphones.Cons: No ability to change the volume on the earphones, this is something I find to be a deal breaker for me and stops me from buying a pair of headphones or earphones. Sound quality and ANC is a bit lacking compared to the XM3Pros: Battery life, form factor, fit, QI wireless charging, handy app, find my function. In short, yes I would recommend them, but for the price I would pick up a pair of Sony XM3.

The app provides customization of the active noise cancellation and a setting to allow you to hear ambient sounds through the earbuds along with six equalizer presets or to create your own sound curve. You can adjust the amount of ANC applied and balance the effect left to right. The earbuds provide good music and voice sound quality but there is a noticeable hiss when using the HearThrough setting to have a conversation without removing the earbuds. The sound is rich and clean during normal operation. The earbuds provide the secure fit needed to stop ambient sound from entering your ears and to hold the earbuds in place. Also, the app will check for and install updated earbud firmware.Whether you like physical buttons or touch control comes down to preference. Physical buttons, like those on the Elite 4 earbuds, prevent accidental operation but require a small amount of force to operate. All the standard music and phone operations along with switching from ANC to HearThrough are available by operating the buttons. In the box you get the earbuds, three sizes of replaceable ear gels, the charger/case, and a tiny, nine-inch USB A to USB C cable. One added plus, product registration gives you a two-year warranty.Jabra Elite 4 earbuds are feature rich, with good sound quality and significant noise cancellation for a reasonable price.

In the app you will find a simple-to-follow Quick Start Guide and User Manual to help get you up to speed on all of the controls and personalized settings. These settings include options to custom configure Active Noise Cancellation which works really well. Also included in the app is s a 5-band frequency equalizer to personalize the sound exactly to your liking, or you can use presets or even come up with your own sound profiles and save to a preset. The sound quality is really impressive and I found that it only gets better as you turn up the volume, while still maintaining distortion-free sound. Personally I like a lot of clean bass but I still like to hear the bright guitar parts and cymbals, so I have the equalizer profile set to a "V" shape, which is when the music really starts to come to life. In fact, there is already a preset called "Energize" that does this for you. I honestly believe the sound coming from the Jabra 4 Elite headphones is every bit as good as my expensive over-the-ear headphones that I sometimes listen to. It's nice to be able to take that sound on the go with these small and pocketable headphones.Bluetooth connectivity is quick and simple and I had no trouble connecting the earbuds to both my smartphone and laptop. After that initial setup, listening to music is just a simple matter of taking the earbuds out of the case and putting them in your ear. With a smartphone, it's easy to take incoming phone calls with just a simple tap of either earbud to accept a call. Once again, the sound of conversation is crystal clear and the built-in microphones makes your voice sound great on the other end of the call. From their clean design to their awesome sound, these are earbuds I really look forward to using and can easily recommend to anyone looking for high quality build and great sound and yet still be affordable.
If you're looking for a pair of wireless earbuds that offer great sound quality, comfort and battery life, then you need to check these out. They fit snugly in your ears, with 3 interchangeable silicon fittings, making them super comfortable, lightweight and ergonomic, wearing them all day is easy on the ear!. They also come with a sleek charging case with up 28 hours of playtime. One great feature is the customizable sound, I enjoyed playing around with this and finding the perfect balance. HearThrough lets you hear your surroundings when you need to, while Sidetone lets you hear your own voice during calls. And if you lose them - no problem. you can use the app to find them again! Another great feature is the ANC, or Active Noise Cancellation, this is fully customisable using the app, meaning you can personalise everything you can or can't hear. And with the simple single buttons on each bud, it's easy turn on and off. The best feature by far though has to be the ability to connect to multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Switching between a call on your laptop, and music on your phone is seamless and easy, you don't have to disconnect from one device to connect to another - this is revolutionary in my line of work! That being said, they're not perfect. One of the drawbacks is the lack of wireless charging - you have to use a USB-C cable to charge the case. Another downside is the battery life, the earbuds themselves only hold around 5 and a half hours of charge, and if you're a heavy user like me - they don't last the day. The final negative point is the audio quality when on calls, while it's fantastic for music there is an echo, which can be distracting. Overall, they are a great choice if you're looking for affordable, comfortable and stylish earbuds. They have a few minor flaws, but nothing deal breaking. And to be honest - I love them!

After just a few minutes, I was connected to both devices and switching seamlessly between them. The earbuds themselves, as well as the charging case are lightweight and compact. They stay put in my ears comfortably during light to moderate activity, but I wouldn’t want to use them while jogging or during vigorous workout.I listen to music and podcasts, and make audio and video calls, and felt that the sound quality on the Jabra Elite 4 was better than I had expected for a moderately priced option. I think an audiophile might want to go with a higher-end model, though. The active noise cancellation is noticeable, but not amazing. I found that it cut down on background din around my house or office, but wasn’t strong enough to eliminate louder noises like bus, train, or airplane travel. The controls on each earbud are fairly intuitive, and adjust automatically to accommodate single-earbud or two-earbud use. The Jabra app doesn’t offer the option to customize controls, though. It took me a few days for me to get used to the buttons being clickable, rather than touch-sensitive pads. I had to find an angle of attack that activated the button without putting too much pressure into my ear. That said, it wasn’t too long of an adjustment, and these are MUCH less prone to accidental activation than other products I’ve used with touch-sensitive controls.Overall, I like the Jabra 4 earbuds. They are a great option for someone who values a compact form factor, ease of use, and seamless switching between multiple devices.
I have some earbuds that I use pretty regularly that were super expensive but they have recently started to come apart at the wing, and it’s not a design flaw that other manufacturer calls it physical damage, so I was looking a new pair of ear buds that would feel comfy, look sleek, sound great & allow me to use them at some, at home & on the go without having to have a second pair around as backups. I have had Jabra ear buds myself and also so has my wife & kids since I got them a few years back I think it was. Anyway, so the quality was of no question when I got the Elite 4s but it kinda was. What do I mean? I mean they blew out of the water what I thought I remembered their products looking, feeling & sounding like. These look nicer than my $250 pair that is falling apart after about 1.5 years of somewhat regular use (but I was off work for 6-ish months of that so they got no use then). Anyway, so the Elite 4s were a little picky when it came to syncing them with my iPhone 14 Pro Max but they were super easy to sync with our Pixel 7 Pro backup phone & also to my Alienware laptop that work has given me. I have used the Elite 4s to listen to podcasts, as well as both Hip Hop & Rap music, while also putting it through some torture listening to Pop music (I like it but others give me guff for it), and even some Country music to fully round out that eclectic listening experience. Oh, how could I forget! I also used them on numerous meetings including those with vendors & everyone said I sounded clearer than normal when using that previously mentioned falling apart pair by someone not Jabra.I have dropped the charging case when getting it out of my pocket. I’m not so sure that it is slick as much as my carpal tunnel may be coming back and my hands just randomly open and let go of stuff again. So I can’t fault Jabra for that. I will be on the lookout for some type of protective case for these and I really hope they have at least 1 or 2 little options do fry. Nothing as outrageous as the B brand or the A brands plethora of not needed and overpriced goodies, just a nice protective cover for the case will be awesome. Fingers crossed it’s a thing when I go looking 🤞.In closing, you can see that I have had a ton of experience since I got these ear buds & I’m truly loving the experience with them especially because their app isn’t super in your face and annoying, it’s just the right level of form, function, and even interaction for me. I’mNot bombarded nonstop like other brands and I thank you for that!Sorry, for real in closing: active noise canceling is superb, it is perfect and since the ear buds diff me so well I am unable to hear 99.99999% of things if I use it. HearThrough works great too and it does what you think: passes the surrounding audio through which I find useful when at work when needing to be able to collaborate but still want to get in the zone and the noise canceling for when I’m in my fixing the world type moods and kicking the rears of any processes that need my improvement skills hah! Honestly though, you can’t go wrong with these truly amazing wireless ear buds, I know I didn’t!
The Jabra Elite 4 is an amazing product from its packaging to its sound. Once you receive the item, its package is small, but it includes the charger and two extra silicone pads. The case of the earbuds has a smooth finish and very light weight which I like because most cases are bulky and harder to store or place in pockets. The earbuds are a little too big, but they do not fall so easily and you don’t need to adjust as often. The earpieces for earbuds are actually very easy to use and the app, Jabra Sound+, allows for you to customize the sound. You can make it neutral which gives you the opportunity for everything to be equally heard or have the bass be priority when hearing music. You can make it neutral which gives you the opportunity for everything to be equally heard or have the bass be priority when hearing music. You are also able to do noise cancellation by pressing the left earbud and honestly, it really does cancel your surroundings. If you study or need work done without having distracting background noises, theJabra Elite 4 eliminates those problems for you.The app itself is free and there are no additional fees unless you want to upgrade, but really there is no need as it already provides all functions to fix your sound quality. One thing I really love though is the fact that I can put my music to the highest volume and no sound leaks out. This is a huge plus because this is an issue to even bigger brands that sell similar products. And, another plus would be the fact that it can be easily paired without having the hassle to keep turning on and off bluetooth to connect to your device. The Jabra Elite 4 is a great investment especially when deciding when looking for wireless earbuds that can cancel your surroundings and give you a full experience when listening to your favorite music. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is either in school at the moment or those who have at home jobs.
I looked at replacing my existing Jabra Elite 75t Earbuds which have started to fail after 3-4 years of constant use.The Jabra Elite 4 wireless earbuds offer the same impressive audio performance, comfortable fit, and a sleek design as my old pair, but with some new features added into the mix. Straight out of the box they were easier to setup and were good to use in a few minutes, the app was easy to connect to and do some bespoke set up if i wanted to. I liked the fact they automatically connected with my spotify and phone, rather than having to search for the device to pair with. There was options to change ear pads in, but i didnt need to change them. The ANC is just as good as my previous pairs, with a touch of the left hand ear bud changes between the sound ... MoreI looked at replacing my existing Jabra Elite 75t Earbuds which have started to fail after 3-4 years of constant use.The Jabra Elite 4 wireless earbuds offer the same impressive audio performance, comfortable fit, and a sleek design as my old pair, but with some new features added into the mix. I liked the fact they automatically connected with my spotify and phone, rather than having to search for the device to pair with. There was options to change ear pads in, but i didnt need to change them. The ANC is just as good as my previous pairs, with a touch of the left hand ear bud changes between the sound options - denoted by a small noise, i preferred the previous versions, where a voice told you what sound mode you are in, ie hear through, ANC or off. But thats just my preference. You can tell the difference between the modes. After using them out and about for both dog walks, listening to podcasts, and taking phonecalls, the sound and call quality is great as i now expect from Jabra. Top marks all round with no issues at all. I havent used the function yet, as the battery life is great, but the option to just use one ear bud is great. With my current ear buds, one is fully functioning, which means both dont work, at least with these, i can just use one if needed to extend both battery life or if i need to keep one ear free! A per my previous pair, the USB-C charging case is a useful accessory, charging them back up after a few minutes, and is great feature. The feel of the product and the quality of the buttons isnt on par with the higher elite series i have, the buttons arent as responsive o pressing, however, at around half the price, its a small sacrifice!I generally wear these walking to work, or walking the dog, so out in all weather, they appear to be a bit more resistant to rain compared to my previous ones, which is a massive bonus! The app is the same as the previous versions, and allows you to tweak the sounds to your own requirements. I dont bother really, but i may do in the future.Overall, the Jabra Elite 4 earbuds are a solid choice for users seeking high-quality wireless earbuds without an outrageous price tag, like my previous pair, i would highly recommend these ear buds!
My initial reaction to the earphones shouted luxury and well packaged. Easy to open the packaging - didn't fee like i was ripping through it. The case was long line and not chunky which added to overall look of the earphones and easy storage when your out and about. Super comfortable in your ear and initially when i put it in it instructed me to connect to bluetooth - which was a quick and easy process with no issues and the first set of wireless earphones i have come across to do this! Also comes with an app to personalise your sound experience which got a 10/10 from me. Went through a small series of questions to test my ear/sound strength and preference to enhance my sound experience and it also had an equaliser which again i have not seen before, this was great ... MoreMy initial reaction to the earphones shouted luxury and well packaged. Also comes with an app to personalise your sound experience which got a 10/10 from me. Went through a small series of questions to test my ear/sound strength and preference to enhance my sound experience and it also had an equaliser which again i have not seen before, this was great as i listen to a variety music, whether i'm working out and listen to upbeat music or relaxing and having the EQ made that difference. It also has shortcuts which you press on your earphones - i.e. press once right earphone plays - press once left earphone ANC or Hearthrough. It gave me the opportunity to set this up to my preference making it more personal to me, and that Jabra thinks about their customers. I tested out ANC ad Hear through on a busy main road and wow what a difference! Having ANC on blocked out a lot of the outer noises but for safety reasons whilst i am on my walks i use Hear through which made sure i was aware of my surroundings. Using ANC at home was great to block out external noise and abling me to relax without any distractions especially when i'm cleaning the house too ( with no issues of the earphones falling out) The volume isn't as loud as other earphones but still very loud enough to hear in noisy environments, this meant that i was still protecting my ears and able to enjoy the music. I also use it to whilst watching videos and podcasts and again the sound quality can't be faulted - again adjusting the EQ to my preference. The battery life is good and it's always helpful that my phone shows how much battery is remaining. The USB C charger is always a winner, this means i don't need to have multiple chargers, making charging easy. Overall i'd highly recommend the product to others and recommend for gifting too. The sound quality and over look is sleek and worthwhile the purchase. The only thing i struggled with initially was placing the earphone back into the case but now have the hang of it - my husband found it easy so it was definitely a me thing!
