Having the headphones connected to me laptop for calls and my phone for music at the same time is awesome. Also being able to use the right or the left bud is a significant advantage over other headphones I have used which tend to just allow one bud to be used by itself. The accompanying app is also excellent with clear setup instructions and great personalisation features. All of this means I don't hesitate to recommend the Jabra Elite 7 Pro to anyone looking for some new wireless Bluetooth headphones.

As a gardener I use these at work to listen to mainly podcasts or audio books rather than music although I can tell you theses do sound great for music too. I had previously had both Jaybird vistas and Jaybird vista 2 before these which were also good and similar to these in that you can use both EarPods independently from each other so one can be in charging in the case charging while you use the other (previous Jabre models didn't have this feature). This is a feature I used all the time as it doubles your battery life and it also means it would be easier for someone to get my attention because theses EarPods are such good fit you hear very little outside sound with both EarPods in. This is a feature I used all the time as it doubles your battery life and it also means it would be easier for someone to get my attention because theses EarPods are such good fit you hear very little outside sound with both EarPods in. These do also have ANC and a hear through settings which both actually work quite well (much better than Jaybird vista 2's in my opinion). I find can use ANC if I'm using a noisy bit of garden machinery and it does help. Hear through settings is good if it quiet and I'm listening for someone calling for me. Battery life is great and even better Jaybirds in my experience m. I also think the taking phone calls is better quality on theses particularly to Jaybird vista 2's which I found worst of them all. One problem I've had is that sometimes they haven't charged properly which in main reason for dropping a star. I definitely connected cable properly and the light did change for flashing red or green to solid green after been left for a while but for some reason they weren't charged. This has happened more than once annoyingly. I did find a something online about a charging reset where you have the case open when plugging it in which did seem to work but charging still seems times hit and miss when I just plug it in normally. Perhaps I just have to do the open case thing every time?? Hopefully there is a a knack to it

Good update from the Elite 75t

I upgraded from my Elite 75t to these, the main reason being i'm active and the running outdoors and wind interference with the mic whilst on a call wasn't the best. I can easily say that they have fixed this with the Elite 7 Pro. The new tech that is inside these is a massive leap above the old versions. Its great, you gain some things (Wireless case charging) and lose nothing. I've had Jabra products for many years, they are bullet proof, the app and the personalisation you get from these devices are second to none. I've tried many different high end brands of earbuds, Jabra are the only ones that fit, Work, Home and Exercise FULLY, i can mute a teams call mic from the earbuds, no other headset can do that, go for a walk or a run on a windy day, conversation is ... MoreI upgraded from my Elite 75t to these, the main reason being i'm active and the running outdoors and wind interference with the mic whilst on a call wasn't the best. Check that your headphones are fitted correctly, they do that automatically for you too. These are fool proof in so so many ways. One minor issue with them that you might come across.... the codecs in them are not the quickest - if your connected via the multipoint to your laptop/PC, you might find whilst watching youtube that the sound is out of sync... download YouTube Audio/Video Sync and set the delay to -500ms and your all in sync again. There is also an app for Android called metronome that has a general audio sync setup that works across the phone which will pull you back into sync. That is honestly the only issue with these earbuds... everything else on these is top notch - you really do get what you pay for!. My old Jabras my wife will have - they are two years old, used daily and still going very strong - with Jabra you get that reliability and build quality. If you have the money - invest in these - your ears will thank you!

In the box is a USB-C/USB-A charging cable, a pack of different earbud sizes, a small amount of paperwork, and the charging case containing the earbuds.I was surprised by how light and small the charging case is. The magnetic closure feels high quality and it's convenient to be able to charge it wirelessly as well as at high-speed via USB-C. It'll show up a few fingerprints but then anyone wanting to protect the case and buds should throw on a skin or case anyway. Onto the buds themselves, they're also magnetically attached inside the case - they're incredibly small and light at just 5.4g each.Setup was straightforward - downloading the Sound+ app first, which guides you through bluetooth pairing with the headphones, and installs any firmware updates. You can connect the earbuds to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously with Multipoint and I found this worked flawlessly. The app is full-featured and lets you customise every aspect of how the earbuds work. From EQ settings (you get a series of presets to try and you can also create/save your own), to inbuilt white noise playback in 'soundscape' for deep focus/sleep sessions, to customising the amount of ANC you hear, vs the HearThrough function for hearing the environment around you whilst listening. You can even customise the way the earbud buttons work, as well as how you want yourself to sound when you use them for calls. In terms of fit and feel, they were initially a little unusual to fit (being familiar with another popular brand of 'pro' headphones), but you have to kind of twist them into your ear like a corkscrew. They fit well, there's no danger of them falling out, and yet you barely even notice they're there - I can't overstate how light these are! These would work well for listening during running/yoga, or any kind of active sport. The ANC is very impressive, and enhanced by the way the earbuds sit in your ear. I found the sound profile suited mid/bass heavy tracks with some tinny-ness creeping in for treble-heavy music at high volumes. For a good quality set of wireless buds that won't break the bank, the Elite 7 Pros are a strong recommendation.

This has caused significant inconvenience, as effective communication is crucial in both personal and professional contexts.I have made several attempts to troubleshoot the issue by adjusting the microphone position, ensuring a secure fit, and testing the earbuds with different devices. However, these efforts have yielded no improvement in the microphone performance. It is worth noting that I have also used the earbuds in various environments, including quiet rooms and busy public spaces, but the poor microphone quality persists across all settings.Considering the reputation of Jabra as a leading provider of audio solutions, I had high expectations for the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. Regrettably, the microphone's inadequate performance has left me disappointed and frustrated.

Is the Jabra Elite 7 Pro worth the upgrade?

I made the jump from my Elite 75t, and I've had a lot of fun testing these Jabra earphones. The 7 Pro has improved microphone recording quality, a longer continuous battery life, and an adjustable ANC function. The 7 Pro fit and size are ideal, and these may be worn for extended periods. You may also use one bud while charging the other. Jabra provided an IP57 rating for dust and water protection for the 7 Pro, whereas the 75t has an IP55 rating. There are several options to customise the Elite 7 Pro's performance through the Sound+ app, ranging from establishing how effective the active noise cancellation is to customising your equaliser settings or selecting a selection of presents. Installing the most recent firmware updates allows you to utilise the Jabra Elite 7 Pro fully. They have a good fit for workouts or almost anything you throw at them. I normally only lower wireless earbuds due to fear of losing them but have grown frustrated with numerous budget models due to poor microphone performance (for video calls at work), poor battery, so decided to splash out the best that Jabra has to offer. So far, they have been an absolute delight offering a comfortable fit, excellent sound, long battery life, and lots of genuinely useful features only found on the premium models such as multipoint ability, a decent adjustable EQ (to enhance the already excellent sound quality), a useful app offering easy sound mode switching, and in ear detection, so they automatically pause and resume music when taking them out and in.Co-workers have commented how much better I sound on calls, and the 'sidetone' feature which ... MoreI normally only lower wireless earbuds due to fear of losing them but have grown frustrated with numerous budget models due to poor microphone performance (for video calls at work), poor battery, so decided to splash out the best that Jabra has to offer. So far, they have been an absolute delight offering a comfortable fit, excellent sound, long battery life, and lots of genuinely useful features only found on the premium models such as multipoint ability, a decent adjustable EQ (to enhance the already excellent sound quality), a useful app offering easy sound mode switching, and in ear detection, so they automatically pause and resume music when taking them out and in.Co-workers have commented how much better I sound on calls, and the 'sidetone' feature which allows you to hear your own voice avoids the annoying talking too loud problem of conversations when using earphones. The multipoint has been a godsend allowing me to connect to both my work PC and my phone at the same time and effortless swap between the two. They have been brilliant at the gym too, and they have yet to fall out (despite trying) during vigorous HIIT sessions. Their lightweight and good fit helps with this I'm sure. Knowing they have an high IP rating means I'm not worried about them getting drenched in sweat. The wireless charging has been brilliant and has allowed me to top up the battery reserve sharing from my phone when caught away from a charging point on a long trip away. The only downsides have been the long process for the firmware upgrade, but this was only on the initial setup, and the fact that the ANC is fairly ineffectual and is not a patch on the noise cancellation on my larger headphone cans. The passive noise isolation from fit is good, however.Either way, they are leaps and bounds better than my previous cheaper models, and I won't be going back!

Top Tier Quality Buds!
16 July 2022

The packaging these buds came in was very smart, neat and compact. A good quality, if rather short USB C charging cable is included neatly packaged with 2 sets of additional sized earbuds which are also well packaged in a resealable plastic sleeve. The buds case feels well-made and compact with a status LED light on the outside just above the USB C charging port, although I have yet to use this as the case has wireless QI charging. The buds sit nicely in the case, held securely in by magnets. The buds themselves are extremely comfortable and well-fitting and I found the already fitted medium earpieces perfect. Whether I was walking, running or cycling they remained in position far better than other earbuds I have been using for the last few years. Whether I was walking, running or cycling they remained in position far better than other earbuds I have been using for the last few years. The push button on each bud takes some getting used to in comparison to the touch sensitive ones I have been used to however, after a few days I got used to this and the advantage of the button is that you won't ever get an accidental press or activation which used to happen to me regularly. The sound quality is exceptional, and the bass is great. I can really notice the difference between these and other buds I have used. There are three sound settings to choose and the passthrough sound setting works very well enabling you to listen whilst hearing what is going on around. Call quality is crystal clear and calls easy to answer at the touch of a button. I downloaded the Jabra Sound+ app to my android phone and quickly and easily connected the buds. Straight away it notified me of a firmware update which it started downloading and installed in around 15mins. I found the Jabra Sound+ app itself very smooth with useful calibration features which tailor the sound of each individual bud based on your hearing after a few tests. I found this to be a useful feature as my hearing is noticeable worse in my right ear after an accident and the app picked up on this. I am more than impressed with the Jabra Elite Pro buds. They have a great fit, sound awesome and the Bluetooth connection is reliable and stable. The Sound+ app has lots of useful features and settings allowing users to personalise their earbuds to suit them. Battery holds up as you would expect from a premium set of earbuds with a full day's use. Are they worth the hefty price tag? If they are reliable and last for many years to come, then it is a small price to pay for a great set of earbuds which will be used daily!
