Jabra Speak 710 UC

Yep. it works. good bluetooth connection. good speaker. good microphone. Suitable for Zoom calls in the office.

I work from home and have meetings all day, my ears were in literal pain from every pair of headphones I tried. This allows my ears and head to be free of any headsets or earbuds and the quality of sound (on both ends) is crystal clear! It’s super light and easy to throw in my bag when traveling, the wireless aspect is awesome when traveling and popping it into the middle of a table or room - the speaker is smart enough to pickup the right voices and cancel out other “noise” which is amazing. Love everything about it, wish I got this sooner!

Compact but no charger included

The Jabra 710 is a mini-conference speaker with microphone. It even comes with its own carrying case. Starting out, 2 negatives: 1) no USB charger included, so you will need to include your current USB chargers, your laptop's USB (if sufficient amperage), or use your old USB charger for it; 2) Takes 3 hours to charge the battery. Positives: ability to link another Jabra 710 via Bluetooth, has a built-in stand if using it by yourself (so the speaker faces you rather than being flat on the table); and the fidelity is sufficient for Skype or Zoom conferencing. I will test it for music playback to see if it is sufficient for a webinar use. I would recommend it despite the negatives.

Excellent functionality and great voice reproduction

If youre after a high quality speakerphone that vastly improves your video conference or group call experience, whether connected to your phone or PC, then the Speak 710 is a great option. The echo cancellation in particular is surprisingly elective and voice clarity (in and out) is excellent. It connects via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet as well as via a wired or wireless USB connection (dongle included) to your PC. Voice clarity also makes this an excellent speaker to play back podcasts. You can also play music on it as well, however low frequencies are underdone so this experience is more OK than great.

Excellent voice quality

This was purchased to use with Skype for Business (SFB) on my Macbook Pro, and general use with my ipad, and iphone. So far I am very impressed with the excellent voice quality. The physical controls on the speakerphone worked fine with SFB on the Mac. I also used it for cell phone calls with an iphone 7+ and it sounded wonderful. It worked fine with my ipad air also. This speakerphone is leaps and bounds better than any portable speakerphone I have ever used. It is best for conferences, cell phone calls, and reproducing voices on podcasts or audio books. Yes music sounds great too, but keep in mind that it's not the primary purpose. I don't want to over hype the product. You will hear noises but they most likely won't be introduced by the Jabra 710. After all it doesn't fix poor cell signals and voip connections. But it does make those long hours spent on conference calls more enjoyable. It is also nice to have the option of not using a headset. There are some excellent technical reviews on the internet that will go into more detail on features. I would just sum it up to say that it's a well thought out device.

Great for picking up female voices and super for Teams and daisy chaining in larger groups

This speaker is probably the only one commercially available including the predecessors in the Jabra range that can actually consistently pick up my voice, as a woman I have a quiet voice but not particularly high pitched but using other devices even when speaking louder than my male colleagues I had to get one of them to repeat what I was saying for people on the other end to hear it. I have female colleagues with the same problem and they have now all transferred to the 710. The quality of voice is exception and the control of the specific UC units designed to provide it for Teams and Skype is 2nd to none. The stand and daisy chaining facility are also really good when you have more than 5 or 6 people in the room. Like all similar devices there is some fall out of ... MoreThis speaker is probably the only one commercially available including the predecessors in the Jabra range that can actually consistently pick up my voice, as a woman I have a quiet voice but not particularly high pitched but using other devices even when speaking louder than my male colleagues I had to get one of them to repeat what I was saying for people on the other end to hear it. Like all similar devices there is some fall out of voice quality using it exclusively on wifi (not physically connected) but if you daisy chain devices to a physically connected one this is minimised too. I would not be without this speaker for conf calls and the handy device cover is superb too making it quick and easy to use or put away in a hurry.

Loud and Clear

Excellent quality. The microphone picked up all participates in our oversized room and the speaker provided loud, clear, and rich sound. I have two of these speakers, when linked together they create great stereo sound. Originally purchased to use for Zoom video conferencing in conjunction with my smartphone. I am able to place the smart phone where it can record video unobtrusively while the two Jabra Speak 710 are placed on the conference table on either end. The Speakers are linked together with one also connected via Bluetooth to the smartphone. Perfect recordings with crystal clear audio every time. As a speakerphone these provide such rich clear sound on both ends that everyone feels relaxed and more natural as if the person on the phone were ... MoreExcellent quality. Paired with computer, tv, tablets, smartphones and delivered quality sound creating enjoyable experiences. Highly recommend.

Tested and found to be the best.

It really is the best sound and features and interface. The pairing feature with two units is not found anywhere else. It comes with the USB BT Dongle if needed. Batter excellent. Every feature is displayed by LED lights, volume , batter level, pairing, bluetooth, answer/end call, etc. The kickstand for direction is also very high quality. Did not think i would like the integrated charge cord, but it makes great sense when i need to charge.

[Rewarded Review] Finally - clear speakerphone for home use

After trying a myriad of consumer 'speakers' with microphones (and being terrible disappointed), I decided to move up to a pricier solution with a better setup for speakerphone usage. The Jabra Speak 710 is everything they tell you it is - small, great sound and calls, nice batter life and user experience.Yes - it costs a few hundred dollars. But this has made all the difference working at home during COVID. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who can afford one of these.
