Great taste, for someone like me who is new into whiskeys its a great start for the journey. As for the taste I really liked it because of its not to sweet taste. (has a great natural honey flavor). Also great is that the Honey flavor isn't to present in the front. So a really balanced whiskey and honey flavor which goes down pretty smoothly.

I'm not a fan of the brand, was given this as a gift, but this is a better than average expression. The honey taste is well integrated, not too cloying like the Evan Williams honey whiskey which is almost orangey. It's great to sweeten up tea or sour juice-and blends easily into cold drinks which is hard with plain honey. For sipping alone, I prefer the Dewars honey whisky which has a more complex flavor profile but that's harder to find (and not USA made if that matters to you).

I just tried this Jack Daniels Honey and I love it. With a smooth and mellow taste itâs perfect to sip on the rocks or mix in with Mountain Dew to make a Honey Dew! If you are a real whiskey drinker you know the rule, it always has a beautiful heat finish. This product makes me wanna use it only for dessert purposes, like to make a cake or to pour over vanilla beam ice cream. Other than that, is not really made for a whiskey straight drink. I confess I've put 100% honey in some of my whiskey drinks. Even coconut water to smooth some down. But when I taste Jack Honey I feel like there's no real honey in it. Is like someone put some raw sugar spoons in with a bunch of spices. I really don't think they use real organic honey for the mix, and if they do, is a 5 or less in percentage, per bottle. I pass it in a shot, dessert or in a mixiology masterpiece, but not as a whiskey, cause it is not one.

Finally tried this and very pleasantly surprised! Very smooth and on the sweeter side, but not over powering. Mixes well with ginger ale and colas. I really enjoyed it with Coke Zero which provided a nice balance. Will definitely purchase again and definitely recommend if youâre looking for a smooth, natural tasting liqueur. Very different from the chemical / synthetic tasting peanut butter whiskeys.
