I enjoyed this drink so much because the smell and overall flavor was pleasant. The taste wasn't too strong, neither was the aroma. The bottle looks so nice, I didn't want to finish it but I found other ways to repurpose the said bottle. Definitely try this!

I love the taste of this whiskey. I tried it in Lynchburg and had to take a bottle home with me! The packaging is beautiful and classic. I’d tell any whiskey and non whiskey lover to give it a try!

i do love this product but i have to say it was not as smooth as i expected. i did love the woody taste i got, and i added some orange bitters which made it better to me, but i will definitely get more for my husband because he liked it more than i did! thanks jack daniels

It tastes like the barrel proof, full of sherry infuence, spice, oak, with more comphortable abv, yet keeping the distinct character ot the single barrel whisky: charred, oaky, honeyed, rootbeer. I dont care what ppl say about jack daniels being dominating the market with their name and brand, they just deserve it. indeed very complex and worth every single penny.
Such an interesting take on Rye. I’m not a giant Rye fan but this does it for me! You get the typical jack notes of honey, vanilla and caramel but you also get distant peppery rye notes and some charred leather. The finish is silky smooth but opens up to something a lot more spicy than what you originally noticed on the friendly nose! Awesome. I think I prefer the regular single barrel but this is supreme quality. And I confidently say that having drank whiskies anywhere from old No7 price to $2500 bottles of scotch. This is really good whiskey. 95/100
So I’m not a huge fan of Jack Daniels or of Rye whiskeys, but some how I tried this and loved it! Incredibly smooth and easy drinking. The JD Single Barrels are amazing, I love the original one as well. Highly recommended
Jack Daniels single barrel rye is a very tasty take on rye whiskey. This rye whiskey does not have the typical Bite of rye whiskey, but there are a lot of flavors to explore. The Jack Daniels barrels shine through on the smooth finish. Like many have said before, If you are a fan of Jack Daniels whiskey, you will undoubtedly love this Whiskey
Most scotch aficionados do not enjoy Tennessee whiskey / Bourbon that much. This single barrel rye, however, drinks almost like a scotch, which I enjoy. Yes, it is not as smooth as a good scotch at twice the price, of course, but it is something different for the occasional adventure.
Jack Daniels Single Barrel is where it is at !!The single Barrel releases are the top shelf of the Jack Daniels Family . When an already great distillery steps up their game to give you whiskey this good you can’t lose!!This rye is fantastic, try it for yourself .
I will admit, just a year in a half into my exploration through bourbons/whiskey/ryes i found myself looking down on these more "popularised" brands such as Jim Beam & Jack Daniel's. I felt they had nothing to offer my adventurous pallet. Then i learn Jim Beam makes Knob Creek, which I'm a fan of and then i see Jack Daniel's has a line of barrel proof and single barrel products and this rye. I picked it up and poured 3 the first night. The nose is sweet and a bit spicy. The pallet to me was again sweet, i caught deep cherry and perhaps raspberry notes with some burnt sugar and spice. Nice finish with minimal spice kick at the end and no harsh burn. At $40 (in Miami Fl.) It is not a bad pick up and i will now be more open to their other products and not scoff at the ... MoreI will admit, just a year in a half into my exploration through bourbons/whiskey/ryes i found myself looking down on these more "popularised" brands such as Jim Beam & Jack Daniel's. There are better ryes at this price point though that suit my personal pallet better, this rye is more lush and sweet.
