Doesn't work for HP laptop, despite it popping up on top of list in a search for "HP Stream charger". Looks as if it would be OK for some devices.
Awful adaptor using it to power a sound card. Keeps overheating and cutting out. Dont waste your money.

I bought this to power a 5v lcd photo frame. One of the plugs fitted nicely - but it didn’t work. I was about to throw this adapter away, but fortunately read the small print - MAKE SURE YOU ALIGN THE + OR - AS NECESSARY FOR YOUR DEVICE. When I did that, it worked a great.
gave it a shot. bought 2 just to be safe as previous reviews suggested they do not work. wish I had listened and gone elsewhere. they are crap. I bought these to power a small 12volt appliance and neither of the adapters were able to do so. faulty product.
