Wooden Cork is an amazing and superb establishment to order all your needs! This was a gift to a very special, very amazing forever friend for his 70th Birthday. He loved it. The bourbon arrived; beautifully wrapped, engraved with the sentiment I wrote, and encased in a wooden box. It was everything I had hoped for and more! I have been a Jameson drinker for 25 years and as I progressed through all the varieties, the 18-year old sits at the top of that list. As most sprits typically get better with age....taking Jameson and letting it sit in bourbon casks just produces the absolute smoothest and frankly tastiest version of them all! You can truly taste those subtle sweet flavors with a hint of spice. Just a perfect blend and enhancement of flavor on an already great tasting Irish Whiskey

I’m 23 years old and finally my pallet has become accustomed to whisky. And let me say that this was the whisky to really sell me on being a whisky neat person for the rest of my life. Not a super complex whisky for me but the toffee and spice (a light spice for me) were a very relaxing flavor happening in my mouth. Leaves my mouth with a very soft almost velvety texture towards the end with a light wood/light smoke finish. 10/10 whisky and drinking this neat is a must! Wouldn’t even dare put ice in it but that’s just my opinion.

A buddy of mine that served with me in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division stopped over to my home in 2004. He brought a bottle of Jameson 18 Year Old Whiskey. A few other veterans from various other services came over too. I got out several shot glasses and we each drank a shot of Jameson 18 straight up to a few that went with us but never returned. We also sparingly gave the departed a few shots to the grass below are feet and dust ti where they returned.That day the memory of those lost got tattooed on my heart and the taste Jameson 18 was a smooth great drink for that special celebration and made the whole day more memorable.
I received this bottle for my birthday. I waited until a warm sunny day in May to have some friends over for a BBQ and a special treat. This Whisky is so smooth and tasty, we almost finished the entire bottle. I saved a little for another day. Our food, friends, and my Jameson 18 year old Limited made our day so special. Always something I look forward to drinking.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for myself. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. Great taste and very easy (maybe to easy) to drink. I have had Black Barrel, Stout, Blenders Dog….. and of course original Jameson. All very good in their own right, but this was exceptional!
This is hands down the best whiskey to pour for a non-whiskey lover. The additional age of the classic Jameson blend adds a rich, smooth complexity. The creamy vanilla flavors that Irish whiskey is known for are off set by a mild spice and citrus fruit note. A long, soft finish. This bottle will always be on my shelf from now on!
I first tried Jameson while on a cruise in 2007. Since the, I have tried the different products as they have become available in my area. I am a devoted Jameson fan. The best whiskey I have ever drank is the Jameson 18 Year Old Irish Whiskey! I was fortunate enough to enjoy several bottles throughout the last decade. If my budget would permit, I would only drink the 18 Year Old Jameson.
When I was selected to be my Local Poet Laureate I wanted to celebrate the occasion. A friend recommended Jameson 18 saying that I would be impressed with the smoothness.We started drinking and fellowshipping. Jameson 18 was the exact companion to the celebration we needed. It wasn't overpowering nor did it bite. It didn't become the topic of conversation. It fit inside our circle like a friend we had already known. Seldom do I remember a drink becoming a companion but Jameson 18 was friendly enough to call it that.
