I received the machine, extremely well packed and earlier than expected. I have been using the machine since the day I received it and it does everything I hoped it would and more. It is definitely going to be able to do the bagmaking, garment and home dec sewing I love to do, as well as quilting.

Hi Shelley! I finally got my dream machine of sewing machines! I sold my beloved no longer used 20+ year old 4800p, as well as my only 2 year old 6600p and 1600p and bought the newly released amazing awesome 6700p! To state I’m in love is an understatement - the Janome MC6700P has everything I wished for, and nothing I disliked about the 6600 and 1600! My new 6700p is the beautiful love child of them both! I'm thoroughly enjoying getting to know my Janome 6700p. First project involved using the accufeed foot to quilt a large patchwork quilt - really pleased with the results. I've now switched to the professional plate and foot to piece a quilt top - the scant quarter inch seam is perfect.

After a really good demonstration by Anna, I purchased this substantial machine. It does far more than I shall probably ever use, but it also does so much that I will use. I always struggled with buttonholes with my previous machine and this machine has added pressure for the foot so keep it on the straight line for a perfect finish. I look forward to using the many stitches that the machine has and enjoying the versatility of it.
A fantastic machine, it's saving me so much time and effort. It's really upped my game I'm very glad I bought it. It's a very intuitive machine, easy to pick up the tech and use. It comes with a huge range of kit, and I did buy some extras specific to what I make. The narrow walking foot and zip shoe are brilliant, I make bags and this foot has made a huge difference to me. The acufeed system is really easy to fit. It is lovely looking and quiet machine, I love it.
Finally I have bought this sewing machine after checking and looking at it online for quite a few months. I consider it my “most valuable and beloved” possession. I love everything about it from automatic threading and cutting to the way it sew layers of fabrics acurately. I haven’t contacted Anna for a demonstration due to my work schedules. But thankfully the instruction book is very easy to follow. I was so happy when it came to me. And I can say I really made a very good choice on buying this. It is indeed worth the money I paid for it. Thank you Sewing Studio for selling such a wonderful sewing macine.
I purchased this machine as a replacement for my Janome 6500P which I purchased in 2004. I already had an excellent idea of how this machine performed because I already had an older model. I was not disappointed with my choice as they have definitely improved on the 6500P with a choice of throat plates and a wider stitch width. Lots of important feet come as standard which are welcomed. I’m very happy with this machine, and am delighted with my choice whilst looking forward to miles and miles of high quality stitches. The space for machine quilting is wider enabling me to quilt my quilts easier, receptive foot pedal which is a great help at constant speed helping keeping my stitch length even. Had a fantastic demo from Anna and a good chance to have a practise on the machine. Since getting it home, I have made a sample of most of the stitches the Janome 6700P is able to do so I now have a record and can match the stitch to the project! In all I love the machine - not quite up to speed with the needle threader but will keep practising as when it works for me it is great. In short a perfect update to my old Janome
Things I already love about this machine: built-in dual feed system; replaceable needle plate; high performance sewing system; needle threader; high foot lift; huge extension table; and 9mm stitch width. So far, I have sewn a quilt with perfect points and a shirt with multiple layers of fabric. The 6700P has coped with both very easily. I love it!
