Janome Sewist 725S Mechanical Sewing Machine

I bought it for a basic functioning machine. Though they don't make them like they used to, it still works pretty well for a home sewing machine. If you need something more heavy duty, you may have to go commercial.

Great machine, worth it!

I am very happy with this sewing machine! I love the needle threading feature, the ability to make bobbins and to do regular and zig zag stitches. I am still learning about all of the things this machine can do!

Great sewing machine

This machine is SMOOTHE! I'm not an experienced sewer but I'm looking forward to learning all the different aspects and capabilities of it! I bought it to make face masks as my husband and children are in the high risk category and my other machine(s) would get thru the thick pleats. This machine glides thru them! Glad I stepped up and paid a little more because the quality is worth it!

This is the perfect machine for me...I am not a beginner, but haven't sewn for a while, so wanted a machine that would behave similarly to my previous one (now 40 years old...), but also give me more options eg stretch stitches. And that is what I have got! Useful handbook too; easy to use and logical. Nothing too complicated but will see me through the next 40 years of sewing I hope!

Love my new sewing machine

I am really enjoying my new sewing machine. I am a beginner, but there are so many helpful videos online that I was able to get started and already completed a project. Hopefully when things get back to normal, I’ll be able to take a quilting class.

My recent purchase of a Janome sewing machine.

I bought this sewing machine for my daughter who was using my grandmother's sewing machine from 1947 that I had refurbished. Well, it was time for a new one and my friend, in Florida, who does quilting, told me to buy a Janome. My daughter absolutely loves it. When it came a few days before Christmas she couldn't wait to use it so she used it immediately and repaired one of my 9 year old granddaughter's dresses. It was the best gift I could have given her and since she has a Joann's near her, you have her ,and my, unwavering love and loyalty. Donna Olson

Nice sewing machine for a good price!

Bought this for my 14 yo granddaughter and she's loving her Janome Sewist 725S machine! Also love the lifetime support by Ken's Sewing and Vacuum Center!

So far so good!

Our "low end" Singer would frequently jam with birds nests, have used this for many hours now with no jams. The top load bobbin and functional needle threader makes things much easier.

Versatile and so much fun!

This is a really lovely machine with features & different stitches that I'm having lots of fun experimenting with. After checking out reviews, this mechanical sewing machine really stood out and it has not dissapointed. It has allowed me to do blind hem stitches, applique and overcasting just to name a few. It's proving to be really easy to use and must say the in-built needle threader and free-arm are welcome features! Finally, it comes with a hard cover case for that extra protection... it's a really lovely little machine and I'm having lots of fun experimenting with it!
