My daughter fell in love with the crème colored backpack in September, and I was hesitant to purchase it because it’s kinda expensive. I have 4 kids and buying name brand can get $$$ quick. I never had a Jansport backpack growing up, my mom just couldn’t afford it. I did however, always hear about the great quality they were so I decided to purchase it for her. Remembering how nice I’ve heard they were, I figured she could use it for a few years! Well, it’s May now and the backpack is falling apart. The pockets are ripping, the bottom has a holes in it and she won’t be able to continue using it for the remainder of the school year. Won’t be buying Jansport again :( You’re better off buying a cheap backpack.

Works well for my high schooler, gender neutral and not heavy as many other materials. I like that it's light material, not sure how long it'll last but works well for my purpose. If you are looking for a hard shell material that is hard to rip I suggest buying a different model.

Purchased for my partner who was in need of a new bag to take to work. His last bag (not Jansport) just started to fall apart, so this time I was looking for something that would last. I purchased another size before, but we soon realized he wanted something bigger. The bottle holder also fits his wide-mouth water bottle which is difficult to do. Lots of compartments, great colour and very durable for his needs. Also feel really confident buying this with the warranty that comes with it. Thank you so much.

Great overall! Definetly not what it used to be; the inside is just white plastic and kind of feels cheap. The outside is great, and the backpack feels great. Good buy compared to others on the market, cost effective too
My son has been using this backpack for about 2 weeks now and has been taking good care of it, but the white inner lining for the laptop compartment is already fraying, the bottom doesn't appear to be leather like Jansport originally made, and the elastic on the side bottle pocket starting separating from the mesh after the first day of use. The quality of Jansport products is not what it used to be. Luckily this was just supposed to be a back-up backpack for when his Ad. Prime 6 backpack is being replaced under lifetime warranty. Now that backpack is a much better value and this Jansport one will be going back to Target.

This morning my daughter packed her backpack for the first day of school and put a standard size insulated water bottle in the side pocket. The side pocket immediately tore at the top. My kids have owned several Jansport backpacks over the years, and they’ve always carried similar water bottles in the side pockets with no problem. We’ve never had this issue. I’m highly dissatisfied with the quality of this backpack. To make things worse, the return window has closed. Sadly, my daughter went to school today with a torn backpack. The quality on this backback is TERRIBLE. I used Jansport backpacks in high school and they were indestructible. This new generation feels totally cheap and poor quality. For $69, it's going straight back and I'll get a good quality one from North Face. A fair price for this model would be closer to $30.
As expected! Classic Jansport backpack with useful compartments (I use as a diaper bag) and the bulletproof plate gives us a little bit of peace of mind when we’re out and about in crowded places. It feels a little heavy when I lift it with one arm but feels totally fine on my back (sort of like a laptop). Would recommend!
Thankfully, i haven’t had to use this item yet. I keep it with me at all times in case of an emergency. I’m extremely grateful that bulletproof backpacks like this exist. Interestingly, although the bulletproof shield is heavy, it feels almost like nothing when i put the backpack on. I use it everyday and am very pleased. It also arrived super quickly!
This is my second time getting a Jansport. The first one I had all through middle and high school and no problems. I got this for college and within the first few months the leather started to tear. It thought it was just a bad batch and exchanged it for the exact same one. big mistake. now it's doing it again AND the laptop sleeve and water bottle holder is ripping. never again am I buying a Jansport.
