The only thing is that my son has a 4K streaming box, the one with bitten fruit, and a gaming system. The TV only has 1 HDMI input so we are using it for the streaming device since it has 4K pass through and HDMI is needed for Dolby Atmos content. The gaming system is being connected to the TV and through and optical cable to get the audio to the Bar 300. If you are looking for s small soundbar for a bedroom then the Bar 300 is what you are looking for.

The speaker has the latest Bluetooth 5.3 version, so you get the newest standard. The addition of Wi-Fi comes handy and now can play your audio signal over your Wi-Fi network connection. But there is a catch: When I played some Hi-Res Lossless tracks I noticed there were some hiccups in the connection quality, so no fluent playback unfortunately. They also removed the Aux-in port on the new WiFi edition...When I try to start playing a song, almost every time the first half second of a song gets cut off. Even when I have the latest software update installed. The battery life is just excellent and the recharge works with no hassle but could take some time. You can even charge your own device over the USB-A port with around 10 W thanks to the included powerbank. The app is fine but for now you can't disable those annoying sound prompts for example when you turn on/off the Boombox. The thing is it now uses the JBL One app, the normal Boombox 3 uses the JBL Portable app, there you could disable the sound prompts easily. The latency is great when you are watching movies or series with your audio over the speaker, so no sound delay in this case. And of course it sounds good in this area. Now let's talk about the sound quality in general. I would say the speaker sounds the best when you are listening to EDM, Hip Hop, Rock and Pop music. The highs are fine, some details in comprehensive songs don't show up unfortunately, the mids are audible and present, but miss some clarity directional, the bass on the other hand is just awesome but I would put it down to around -1 in the EQ settings. The mids and highs around +1, respectively. Then it sound the best in my opinion. 3D Dolby Atmos support is a great additive but no game changer at the moment. It depends on the music record - some songs sound extremely different or even artificially worse. For that price it is just too expensive right now in my opinion and I would only recommend it to people that prefer listening to music at higher volumes and have the option and location to do so. And of course people who want to have a private party. When you are also enjoy listening at lower volume levels, you absolutely can, but don't expect the best balanced sound quality.

The sucker is simply amazing for both sound quality, high volume and what many would likely call a cool look. Sure whenever the JBL Boombox 4 comes out it'll no doubt be better still, but JBL's whole line of boombox's has so far been getting better and better. So even if the next version is better, and it probably will be, you'll still have a great speaker with this one. Same for those who got a JBL Boombox 2 before this version came out. No it's not quite as good, but it's also not any kind of disappointment either. I'm saying, JBL has been doing right by their whole line of boombox speakers and at the end of it that's what will likely matter to most. It's a total party speaker that can go all day %26 night and has more than enough power to both keep a party going and to justify it's price.However nothing is completely perfect. If there's one complaint about this it's definitely the weight. To say you won't be lugging this around much as a result of it's weight about sums it up. However for a speaker that retails at approx $500 I personally wouldn't want a lightweight speaker as it'd probably feel cheap. This doesn't feel cheap, at all. Additionally while heavy the way the handle is done here it's not so off-putting that it'll forever keep you from carrying it around.Ultimately and in short, a great bluetooth speaker that does come with a high price tag, but is actually worth it. Upon installing the product it was very easy to understand and connect to my TV and I am grateful for the simple instructions. I have been in the market for a while for a sound bar. I have been really impressed about that bass quality from the productThe product arrived promptly and the packaging was secure. Upon installing the product it was very easy to understand and connect to my TV and I am grateful for the simple instructions. Once connected, I was easily able to figure out how to set the audio settings.It was a slight more faff to get the soundbar connected to my wifi though once the process was done, I think it is a great feature that AirPlay is built into this speaker. This was a huge selling play for me. Albeit, it is slower at connecting and would benefit from “Matter” support I think.As for the looks of the device I fear this is lacking; the soundbar definitely does not feel as premium as some other products that I have seen; and does not draw the attention of others in the same way. Though I think that at this price point, it is perfectly acceptable and a handsome product.On the audio quality, the bass is impressive - I was not expecting this and it was more than I expected. Further, the ability to adjust the bass easily through the remote is something that I have greatly appreciated. The mid tones are somewhat more lacking in comparison and have felt marginally drowned out by comparison; I had to turn the bass down from the default to get a glance that I preferred.Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend it to others.

With an array of features from the rich sound and battery life to the compact design and IP67 rating, the Boombox packs a major punch.The sound is actually quite unbelievable from such a relatively small product (19in wide x 10in wide x 8in tall). The unit packs 1-80W subwoofer, 2-40W midranges, and 2-10W tweeters (reduced when in battery mode) to deliver clear, rich sound in all kinds of media.
