I've been an audiophile for 40 years and I really like these small speakers. Crystal-clear trebles and low frequencies down to 100Hz; low bass is supplemented with a compact sub-woofer. I use them in the bedroom, attached to the wall (plastic brackets screwed into the studs) facing the bed. I angle them so they point towards my head when lying in bed listening to music. My only complaint is they use spring clips rather than 5-way binding posts.

I saw my Co worker with one of these. It sound really nice so I inquired of it. He stated he bought his from one of the mobile stores and it was quite pricey. I decided to get mine from Amazon figuring the price would be more reasonable (was buying it for my office).....and it was. I love this speaker! I have used it almost every night since it arrived. I have other Co workers asking about mine now. Great buy and I have not been disappointed with the sound quality. It sounds good and is loud...so loud I have to remain conscience of the volume. Well worth the price and you can use it with Bluetooth or Auxiliary cord. Also comes with a neat carrying case and charger. It's a bloody pencil case that's somehow magically a pseduo-surround music system thing. It's not deafen yourself loud but you'll have to raise your voice to be heard over it when it's up full. The volume control from our iPhones is mirrored/paired with the volume control on the speaker so there's only one volume to adjust and you can do it from the phone or the speaker, same as next/previous track. The bass from it is frankly unbelievable and the sound doesn't go "Off-axis" as you move around the room, it just sounds amazing wherever you are. Our room is big with lots of fabric and furniture so in a room with lots of hardwood flooring and hard surfaces this would feel even louder still. JBL quality is just as it always is with this and once you find the correct EQ setting on your device for what you prefer or your music style choice, it just sounds amazing. Not the cheapest and it reminds you of that every time you use it. Worth every penny. Try Pink Floyd first!

I had this speaker stored in my closet for quite a few years and never really used it so it's essentially still new, decided to get it out and put it to use to find that if I turn up the volume to anything above like 40-50% the speaker completely stops producing audio. It works just fine at lower volumes, I've tried resetting it, fully charged, still cuts out. Considering I've used it only a handful of times this is disappointing. Terrible product.

The JBL Flip Essential 2 is a really good Bluetooth speaker. I like that it's not that big and still has a great rich sound. The sound is clear and pleasant to listen to. Operation is easy and self-explanatory, simple. I like the size. It fits in a normal handbag or in the drinks pocket on the side of a backpack. It doesn't bother me that the speaker can't be used as a power battery. The usage time is sufficient for my day in the office and then cooking at home. I do not need more. I can really recommend the JBL Flip Essential 2.

I was really looking forward to the sound box. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed. The tube looks very high-quality, which is also noticeable in the weight. The bass membranes that can be felt on the left and right indicate rich bass and the length and weight also suggest top sound. Unfortunately, this is not the case, the sound is very pale and the bass is almost non-existent. I don't know why the bass is so flat and clacking, but there is a clear reason for the sound itself, because only one small speaker is installed. It has to be said that the sound is better than that of a mobile phone and the tube is indestructible, neither water nor dust can harm us. The tube also absorbs shocks very well

The JBL Flip Essential 2 is built to last. Every detail has quality. The sound is phenomenal. You don't expect this little speaker to be so loud. Sound comes back in detail and in crystal clear quality. I can recommend the speaker.
