I bought the grey one and it’s actually a really beautiful color combination. The material is excellent for dusty outdoor environments or humid locations. I bring it outside for my workouts and I like not wearing earbuds and being able to jump around. The sound is LOUD and the bass has moved the speaker from its original location a few times. The hook is very durable to carry around. I’ve used the Roku app with the Bluetooth/headphone feature using this speaker and it’s easy surround sound in any location. The charge is average and I’m careful not to overcharge. I chose JBL because the earbuds I bought from the company a little over a year ago have an amazing battery life and a charging case without problems thus far.

I love being able to stand it upright in the shower, it has the perfect footprint for it. However, the feet on the bottom (you can see them in the main photo) have a very weak glue and they are coming off, all of them. For being so water friendly, I would have expected it to be more rugged, but for the price I can't complain.As for the sound, it's surprising but not amazing. JBL certainly checks all the boxes for me, lightweight yet durable, portability was my main concern, that and the audio quality of course. I had to replace cuz the recharger port connection broke.The sound on this JBL GO 3 model has about the same sound quality.PROS-A bit lighter and more compact than JBL Clip-usb-c charging portCONS-if you put the speaker on the flat side..there is an nnoying movement and slides on surface if you put the volume loud, which can lead the speaker to fall and break. It is also wrapped with this rugged yet oddly pleasant fabric that seems to hold up after several adventures. Probably the best bluetooth speaker option at this size and if you get it on sale its well worth it. You can clip it to your backpack or belt loop and it will go wherever you go. It is also waterproof to a degree and is able to withstand a direct stream from the faucet. The bottom line is, if you want something for mobile adventures I'd recommend the JBL but if you just need a small speaker that sounds good then maybe the Sony is for you.
