The mic has no problem picking up my voice, and I've been told it is clear and clean. I use these for work calls, as does my wife. My kids use them for online classes. I also use them for music and can hear the full breadth of tones. They fit great and are comfortable. The braided cord is strong and durable. Zero complaints.

Based on other reviewers, I expected more bass; but I wouldn't describe the bass as prominent or "boomy". To me, the sound is pretty balanced; I'd personally prefer a bit more bass. Cable seems sturdy. If you can find these on sale, I think they are worth it; not sure I'd pay full price.

The highs and mids seem to have even more separation. Bass is just as strong as the E15's. The cords are all made of similar durable materials compared to my e15 earbuds. The aluminum housings don't add any real weight but they look really good, the built in Mic and one button remote work great and whole surface with the JBL logo is one big button so its easy to use. Also the included carry pouch is a nice fabric material.Overall if your looking to every last ounce of detail out of your music give these a shot. I recommend these.

I primarily bought these to use with my Xbox controller. I am currently using (what appears to be) almost identical in-ear headphones made by Skullcandy. They are old and have some wiring issues, but they work fine for audio on my Xbox. Once I plug my JBL’s in: no sound at all. They work fine with my iPhone, but for whatever reason, they won’t even let me hear sound when I plug it into my Xbox. Oh well... hard to beat the price for a great brand. Guess I’ll add them to my collection.

I already have these in blue and wanted to get them in black as well. The audio quality is really good on these,the clarity is notch above the JBL E15's in my opinion. The highs and especially the mids all have an added presence that makes music sound more realistic, bass on the other hand seems to be about equal if maybe a hair better which I'm fine with since the E15's had plenty of low end. The other thing I noticed was how well these respond to better a DAC. These go from sounding good to WOW do these sound good! They don't sound overpowered like so many earbuds tend to do when they're fed a more powerful audio signal.Other little things I like is the button control. Even an audiophile would appreciate such quality at this price range, truely unexpected.The only gripes I have are these:Of the two pairs of these I bought, one had noticeably much louder sounds from driver deformation in one side. Driver deformation is completely normal with earbuds, and happens when the change in air pressure from inserting or removing earbuds puts force on the driver, the component that produces the sound. This is to be expected, however it can produce quite crinkling sounds sometimes, which can be annoying. In my case the deformation sounds are almost non existent in one pair, and in the left side of the other pair, but in the right side of that pair the deformation sounds were around 30 db louder, a significant amount, enough to almost be painful to hear, and quite annoying. I was worried that this could be due to a manufacturing error that would affect quality, but there was no noticeable difference, so I sold them to my brother. Like I said earlier, this only affected one of the 2 pairs I bought, and I think this was a one-off manufacturing error, nothing to be concerned about.My other critique may be of more interest, however. I notice that the earbuds can become uncomfortable after an hour or two of listening, and this may just be because my ears are too small for the medium size and too big for the small size, but it is something to be aware of.Overall, these earbuds deliver great quality at great value, anyone who is serious about music will notice the excellent response. At such a low price, JBL delivers, and boy do they do it well. I have recommended these to others I know who listen to music a lot, and certainly wouldn't dissuade anyone else from purchasing these, though, as always, you must make your own decisions on what you are willing to buy, dont take my word for it, but do some research of you're own to be sure you find the right pair for you. I've always had issues with in ear headphones as either they didn't stay in my ear or they were really uncomfortable. This pair came with three differing sizes of soft ear adapters, and the smallest size was perfect for me. I've only used them once for a Zoom conference, but they worked perfectly! Plus having a fabric cord makes them much less likely to tangle and they will be super easy to travel with. I am really pleased with these, and especially that I got a great price on them! Love the red color, too!
I bought late October and it was working great... until about 2 weeks later when by accident I dropped my iPad with the headphones plugged in. No, it didn't fall while I was standing up. I was lying down on the sofa using my iPad when I lost my grip. When I picked it up, I was more worried about my iPad screen and didn't even imagine my new Hartman headphones would break. It wasn't until I picked up my iPad and started playing my video when noticed audio was only coming from one ear. Sigh. So so so disappointed .You'v been warned!
