When I got my JBL Live Earbuds 3 I wasn’t sure if I would like the charging case with controls on it, or if I would even use it. I have to say after having them for about 3 weeks now I’m pleasantly surprised by how handy the controls on the charge case are. I use the controls pretty frequently mainly because it’s easy and convenient. When you first set up the earbuds they have a feature that lets you know if you have a good deal or not. I’ve worn them for around 5 1/2 - 6 hours continuously with the ambient aware setting activated on one charge. I highly recommend these earbuds.

The active noise cancellation works well and blocks out a substantial amount of outside noise. The noise cancelling ability of these headphones is not the best I have ever used but still way more than adequate in all the situations where I used them. I can enjoy my music at a reasonable level without needing to blast the volume to mask outside noises. The earbuds automatically blocked out wind noise on windy days and while riding my bike.Battery life is exceptional. The earbuds charge quickly in their case and I never ran out of power while using them. Calls were clear and the people on the other end could hear me well. The Voice aware feature is a nice touch to customize the amount of my own voice I hear on the call.Overall The JBL Live 300 earbuds offer an immersive sound experience and abundant features to meet the needs of a variety music types and usage scenarios. They are comfortable and easy to use while going strong all day long.

The one function in which will be very useful is the Find My Buds function.Upon receiving the buds about 12 days ago, I charged the case and buds to 100 percent. Charging can be done by the included usb-c cable or wirelessly. I have been using them for roughly 2 hours a day. They fit comfortably and don’t fall out of my ears. I would say they are a little bit smaller than the previous version but still have amazing sound. These offer Hi-Resolution audio which brings a new dimension to my music. The Spatial Audio is also great but not made for all types of music. The Spatial Audio can be adjusted for what you are using them for. When I watch a movie it gives the sense of realism to the movie and makes the overall sound field larger. For music it gives a concert like sound which is also very immersive. For gaming it also gives you a sense of realism as if you’re really in the game. A truly fantastic feature that I am enjoying. The sound frequency of these buds is also perfect. Not lacking in any department and they get loud without distorting. I leave the equalizer off most of the time but it is nice to be able to switch the equalizer settings through the case menu. Adaptive noise canceling works flawlessly as the the ambient noise changes around you.As mentioned before I feel these newer buds are slightly smaller than the previous generation. They stay in my ears better. They still have touch feature on both buds to do certain tasks such as change the noise settings, change tracks forward or back, play or pause or answer a call. You can assign different tasks to the buds via the app. The app does offer a few more features not available on the case for fine tuning and adjusting the buds.You can use one or both buds if you want. Call quality is superb having a total of 6 microphones. The calls are in stereo if you have both buds in your ears. The range is also great. I can leave my phone in one room and move to the next without losing the connection. I used them recently for a long call lasting over two hours and still had plenty of battery life left in them. Today was day 12 of using these buds and the case was at 32 percent and the buds at 100 percent before taking them out of the case. Jbl states you get about 40 hours of use out of these on a charge and I believe it. Just 10 minutes in the case once they have depleted their charge will give you 4 more hours of use. That’s simply amazing to me.Fit and finish of these buds is very premium. The case is sturdy and strong. Buds are light and feel great. Nothing about either piece feels cheap. Sound is premium and so are all of the features. The amount of things you can do and play with is endless. I’m constantly fiddling with them because there are so many features. I just want to keep trying them all.It’s nice to see a great product getting even better over time. The previous version was my go to set of buds. I truly loved everything about them. The new Live Buds 3 are even better in every way which makes these my new go to set.

I was using Galaxy Buds Pro 2s and Airpod Pro 2s before these. I hated the Airpods and enjoyed the Galaxy Buds a lot. I had to switch these to the next size smaller rubber ear nubs from the ones that were preinstalled. After that I got a great seal, no falling out or getting loose. I had them for about 4 days now, washed the truck and mowed the lawn with them in. I'm in Mississippi so it was 100 degrees outside and sweat didn't seem to bother them. After 4 hours of continuous use the case reported each bud was at 65%, I was also using ANC the entire time. The sound quality was excellent. The Live Buds are probably some of the coolest, most innovative ear buds I’ve used to date. The case, with its screen that allows you to change the song, change the background, and your audio experience, is a nice touch and sets these apart from other products on the market.Upon first use, I ran into a common issue; my ears don’t particularly like ear buds with the rubber fitting. They don’t stay in my ears. Even with the smaller or larger adjustment, I cannot get them to stay in my ears for the life of me. I did have a little bit of luck and was able to experience the buds the way they were intended. I also used them at the gym, which was a bit of a challenge, but I had a little success. The case, with its screen that allows you to change the song, change the background, and your audio experience, is a nice touch and sets these apart from other products on the market.Upon first use, I ran into a common issue; my ears don’t particularly like ear buds with the rubber fitting. They don’t stay in my ears. Even with the smaller or larger adjustment, I cannot get them to stay in my ears for the life of me. I did have a little bit of luck and was able to experience the buds the way they were intended. I also used them at the gym, which was a bit of a challenge, but I had a little success. The sound quality was immaculate. The ability to do noise canceling and ambient sound is a huge plus, especially during my daily commute to work. Being able to cancel out the noise of the train is very nice.The default setting for the buds was “Jazz” but I changed it to add more bass to my music, and they did not disappoint. The clarity of sound and the deep bass was very impressive. When I was able to keep the buds from popping out of my ear, they were comfortable and for those who like these types of buds, I’m sure they will prove themselves to also be comfortable.I like the Live Buds but considering that I cannot keep them in my ears, makes them not the right fit for me. However, I know many people whose ears can accommodate buds like these, and I am certain they’d love them! Only giving 4 stars because I cannot use them, but the quality of the product is definitely top tier.
I was in need of new earbuds after losing my most recent pair. I saw the JBL Live Buds 3 with a touchscreen charging case and thought this could help streamline the functions of listening to my music while delivering great sound. I paired the earbuds to my phone without issue and from there I started swiping through the touchscreen. I was able to change tracks, adjust volume, select listening modes, eq settings even a flashlight mode plus always having charge levels showing for the case and individual earbuds is nice. Once I got my fit (different ear tip sizes are included) and setting dialed in, I was amazed by the sound quality. I have to give a special shout out to the bass in these little things as I was pleasantly surprised! The noise cancelling was great but not “airtight” which is how I prefer. The only negative I found would be the sensitivity of the earbud touch/tap control. I would normally be afraid of adjusting the earbuds in my ear in light of changing a setting or track but the good news is I can turn off the tap control assignment for each earbud and do it all from the charging case! I would recommend these earbuds for the traveler, casual user as well as fitness enthusiast with an IP55 water and dust resistant rating. These can also be charged wirelessly for convenience so don’t sleep on these!!

There is also an ambient aware option where we can set the level of sounds coming from outside, e.g. when walking around the city to hear the surroundings better, but then the sound is terrible, so I do not recommend it. Unfortunately, a big minus is the sound delay when playing games, unfortunately it also happens when watching YouTube, so it's a big minus. It's not a big delay, but it is noticeable. At this price, these are good headphones and I can use them with a clear conscience.

And i just noticed that the charging case itself is able to be charged wirelessly...so cool!My use case for ear buds is mainly for conference calls and listening to podcasts. That said, I was very surprised at the 'spatial audio' feature when I was on a Microsoft Teams call with work colleagues. I could easily tell he was working from a small space in his bare/echoey cubicle. Please note these buds are NOT Microsoft Teams certified (wish they were) - therefore one has to deal with a potential double mute situation (muting buds does not enact the mute in Teams).I found the buds to be fairly comfortable though a bit heavier than I imagined. I'll have the see how it does on my jogs around the neighborhood.I was a bit irked this morning when I tried to start up my Pocketcast on my iphone, it started playing but audio wasn't coming through. It looks like it defaulted to my android pixel phone. I don't know if it's the bluetooth protocol but i was expecting it to start playing once some audio was going through one of the phones.I played the podcast on my pixel and then made a phone call on the iphone. It correctly switched audio to the phone call and after a few seconds of hanging up, correctly resumed my podcast.Some features are disabled when using just one ear bud (and appriopriately so). The tap controls are good and responsive. Flashlight feature is meh but i suppose better than nothing on a very dark night. Perhaps it's just me but I wish there was more gestures available on the touch screen as one has to scroll left/right a lot to get to some screens.ANC was good for me but zoom conference attendees still could hear background chatter when I was sitting in a gelato shop.The liveBuds3 is feature rich! I'll have to try the phone message notifications sometime as well as the different audio profiles - but again music isn't my main activity with these.I was using a pair of JVC ear buds but this is easily going to replace it. The charging case feels heftier in the pocket than the JVC's - but perhaps it's time I invest in one of those hip cross-body bags :p.
