I am an audiophile, so I have owned a large amount of high end over ear headphones. These earbuds have shockingly good sound quality for being so tiny. They give the impression of a full sized JBL headphones with sound quality to match. Crystal clear highs, full clean mids and deep deep bass for an earbud. The JBL app allows you to configure the sound in any way that sounds good, as well as having some great presets. These are the best sounding earphones Ive ever tried, bar none. Give them about 12 hrs of break in time for optimal sound!5. Call Quality: The sound on the calls is crystal clear and there is no impression that you are on earbuds during a call. The clarity is there on both ends and they are a joy to use for a hands free calling experienceSo, all in all, the JBL Livepro+ are a fantastic set of earphones! Great for the person on the move, EDC, travelling, outdoors, gym or office work. I think the sound quality and water resistance alone make this pair of buds worth the price of admission. They have so far beaten all competitor options I've tried, sound fantastic, are comfortable and have my life much easier. Been using for a few years. Great sounds, great battery. Works great as either both in use or as a single ear bud. Only gripe is that the left earbud still only does the "pass through" feature when in single use so the pause function has to be done on your phone if only using the left earbud. Also the auto pause seems to sometimes be a bit touchy if the earbud isn't ALL the way in your ear. Overall great product though, enjoy the look and function.

As a frequent lawn mower, I appreciate the noise reduction, which allowed me to listen to podcasts at a comfortable level while mowing. The batteries lasted for several hours on a single charge, and the ability to recharge with the case was great.Investigating: Once I had the sound I wanted, I began playing with the app's configuration abilities. Most settings were pretty clear, but there is one page in particular which is laden with grammatical errors and meaningless text. The "Noise Cancelling" page says "It's default setting. Block out the noise of daily life." "It's" should be "Its", and that's not actually a complete sentence. Aside from that, the description of noise-cancelling modes is meaningless - "Active Mode - Be pleasant when doing outdoor activities" -- I'm not sure if that's intended as a life philosophy, but it doesn't tell me anything about what the mode is doing. The "Travel Mode" description doesn't really provide any info, either. The good news is that it's easy to try these modes and determine for yourself if they are for you.The integration with Google Assistant works pretty well. When initially setting this up, I got a message stating that I had to install Google Assistant, even though I have been using it for quite some time. What happened was the Google Play Store opened to the Google Assistant, which had an active "Install" button. I did this, and some small component was added to Google Assistant, based upon how quickly the installation completed.Finally, I tried the buds with my TV. Connecting was simple, but I ran into the same issue - very thin sound. Unfortunately, I don't know if it's possible to configure the EQ when connected to the TV. Any tips are appreciated.All in all, I really like these for use with my phone. Great sound, comfortable fit (try the various size earbud covers provided), and easy to use.

This feature is an absolute deal-breaker for me and to have this feature on these is worth it, hands down.Noise-cancelation works fantastically as expected. Just be weary to have the right sized ear "plug" installed on each ear bud, but the app helps you know if you have a good seal or not.There is a slight degrade in volume/EQ when switching to ANC, but nothing drastic or life changing, but still noticable. But agian, for what you get with ANC, I'm willing to take that hit.Pass-through, not great. It's suppose to allow you to hear a person talking to you, but it only reduces the volume to where you can hear your music without really passing the persons voice through, which I thought it would. But still a "nice-to-have".-Smaller thingsThe carrying case is amazing, type-c for those who have type-c compatable devices, wireless charging on a case is also a must have and is very much appreciated on this device. And it also labels the left and right earbud, nice distinction.*They are small-pocketable!Fatigue is basically non-exsistant, if you have the right size "ear-cups" on the earbuds, these will fit snuggly into the ear and you'll be able to wear them for at least 3-4 hours before taking a break!Overall, even though these aren't "Noice-cancelling", and only ambient, it's better than nothing. But these are a fantastic deal for what they are, all the feature sets, what you can do in the app, the carrying case and the battery life, I would say buy them, they're too good to pass up.
This is my first pair of noise control earbuds. I regret missing the return window on these. First off, they don't stay in my ears if I am talking, smiling, eating, working out. It's incredibly frustrating. I also don't like wearing them on walks. If it's windy, I have to use noise cancelling. Ambient aware picks up the wind too much, which I'm sure I could fix some of the setting to fix this but I don't have enough space on my phone to keep the JBL app. I still use them, I just tend to hate my life a bit more when I do.

The third option (called smart audio & video) deals with optimizing the actual Bluetooth connection stays in one mode or another at all times. Under noise canceling there are 3 modes that seem to go from more daily noise canceling (this was the my favorite mode that seemed to simply get the job done) to travel mode (planes and trains) to an active mode that seems to block noise maybe a tad less. The ambient sound control has two options with are ambient aware (felt like a solid ambient mode) and talkthru which seemed to lower the listening volume while raising what the mics were picking up.There is also a customizable EQ that comes with three presets: jazz, vocal and bass plus the ability for the user to add their custom tweaks. I personally seemed to lean toward the jazz preset with the lush bass but that was just my preference.The overall sound stage was definitely sweet. I listened to Taylor Swift, Lil Baby, Pantera, Herbie Hancock plus a whole lot more. This is an area I’m glad the app has EQ settings for not just myself but everyone to have a chance to dial in their sound preferences. The horns and guitars are crisp, and the bass sounds deep. Vocal’s sound clean and pure and nothing seemed to really drown out or overpower another area of sound. I took a phone call to test the quality and the caller said they could not tell I was using anything different. The specs boast “voice clarity with 3-mics technology” and from what I could tell they seemed to deliver.Overall, I’m glad to own these and thankful (once again) JBL got the whole dual connect part absolutely seamless. If I just want one side in my ear, it simply lets me do that without a finicky connection hassle! Good point with the accompanying app is the in ear detection to say if they are fitted correctly, and when they are I experienced a nice, deep rich sound and I'm quite fussy.I returned mine but would certainly recommend trying them.Improvement Points: Not a criticism but unfortunately they didn't suit my ears as they kept popping out, I tried the various sizes of plugs that were supplied with it. Charging is via wireless charger or USB-C.The packaging is really good very well packed compact and neat.The controls are soft touch and are sensitive and it is too easy to accidentally change a setting or activate the voice assistant when just trying to adjust the fit.The silicone from which the tips are made seems to be less grippy than many, having a smoother surface. The build quality is pretty good too, the plastic feels nice, and the opening mechanism is smooth.They are amazingly comfortable and come with a huge range of tips to fit different ears, the app even tells you if the fit is good or not.Taking out one earbud allowing you to hear outside through both of your ears, it makes using these a lot more convenient.For people like me there is an EQ in the app which comes with only 3 presets:Jazz - boosts the bass and treble to make these even more V-Shaped.Vocal - lowers the bass and raises the Mids.Bass - just raises the bass.Connectivity is exceptionally good. my phone was asking me to pair them before I had chance to open my lock screen, they are magic!The app is amazing it updates your buds and shows you all the information about them battery life on each bud and the case also lets you change the sound preferences, these are one of a kind.
Bought these a couple days ago and so far am very happy with them. I've only owned a few pairs of true wireless earbuds but these overall take the cake. I'm a fair bit of an audiophile, I like clean punchy bass, and crisp mids/highs, these are just that. To be fair the bass could be a little bit stronger but overall they make me happy. These give a very pleasant listening experience, comfortable to wear for over 4 hours. They also don't fall out easily and stay seated well in your ears. I've only owned a few pairs of true wireless earbuds but these overall take the cake. I'm a fair bit of an audiophile, I like clean punchy bass, and crisp mids/highs, these are just that. To be fair the bass could be a little bit stronger but overall they make me happy. These give a very pleasant listening experience, comfortable to wear for over 4 hours. They also don't fall out easily and stay seated well in your ears. True to the word that you can have conversations as if you weren't wearing ear buds. The different EQ modes are nice, have them tuned to the music I listen to and like how much you can customize the audio profile in the app(not sure what everyone complains about the app for as it works flawlessly). The 360 audio is accurate and immersive. Only thing I don't like is the gesture control in the app, wish it was a bit more customizable but that doesn't really have anything to do with the product. Overall great product and will be buying more JBL products in the future.
