After several weeks of using the JBL Quantum 910X, I'm genuinely impressed. As an avid gamer, audio quality is paramount to me, and this headset delivers exactly a high and real experience I tested playing Assassins Creed, Alone in The Dark, Resident Evil 4. A USB-A to USB C charging cable and a calibration cable (which to me was the innovative one) - It can be done on one of your earsThe software to set your customizations and set different sound styles can be done via Desktop (PC , don't have MAC so can't comment on that)However, there are a couple of downsides. The headset's advanced features are fully available only on PC, which can be a drawback for console gamers wanting to utilize all its capabilities. Also, the price point might be steep for casual gamers.Overall, the JBL Quantum 910X is a solid investment for serious gamers seeking an edge in audio quality and immersion. It's not just a headset; it's a critical tool in my gaming arsenal.

He had no issues with lagging and used these over a long stretch of time in the evening and the battery held up superbly. For me, I use headphones when I attend live webinar masterclasses with a maximum stretch of time of use being about an hour each time. They connected quickly via Bluetooth and I found the headphones comfortable - I was able to adjust them to fit my head/ears properly (I have a small head so this can be challenging at times). The sound quality was great and it absolutely did feel like an immersive experience with the noise cancelling used.I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for great quality headphones. Don't be put off by the Xbox aesthetic and read beyond the fact that they are geared towards that as they are fully compatible with other devices.Good points:- Aesthetically pleasing packaging and headphones- Great sound quality- Noise cancelling works well- Microphone works well- No lag- Long life battery- Bluetooth connectivityPoints to note:- Aesthetic could be off-putting for some- Some may see the aesthetic and the gearing towards Xbox users and take no notice that these are fully compatible with other devices

The clarity on both music and in game content is clear & sharp. I have previously tried spacial awareness headsets, which I have been indifferent about, however JBL seem to have developed something here that both works flawlessly and provides a new dimension of sound. The ANC is excellent and blocks out noise even on the lower end of the volume, so you know you won't be distracted, without bursting your eardrums. I also have Bose ANC headphones and comparing the two, the volume on the x910 can be significantly lower and still be effective.Being non wired as standard, the weight and comfort of this headset is superb with excellent comfort on the ear and over the head with plenty of padding, whilst still keeping them light weight, I have worn these for an 8hr gaming session with no negative impact, whereas others feel weighty or cause itching due to materials used.I have had these on for 21hrs and no signs of the battery fading, The fact I can play and charge is something that JBL have over many competitors, and make this ideal for multi use, as I can walk away from the PC and know I can continue to use for music without having to switch headsets. The design is simplistic and not too "In your face" a mixture of gloss and matt black with nice multi LED's to illuminate that don't detract from the aesthetics.I highly recommend these and they are overall an excellent option for someone who wants a quality headset with ANC and stunning sound quality and is middle of the market price wise.My only minor criticism was out of the box, there was minor crackling sound whilst ANC was on initially on the lowest volume, however this was resolved with an easy conversation with JBL support and a firmware update, which has now resolved this issue.

Straight out of the box you can tell this is a premium quality headset. It comes in a really nice grey velvet drawstring bag to protect it during storage. One of the first things I noticed was the weight, it has quite a bit more weight to it than my old mid-range headset. It's also bulkier around the ear cups. The build quality looks and feels excellent and I suspect it will last many hours of use before it needs replacing. That being said I would class this a premium headset and with that comes better hardware and added size/weight.Once it's in place it was never an issue within minutes I had forgot about the weight and was enjoying the snug comfort which the headband and earpads provided. It was extremely easy to connect to my phone to first sample some music and ... MoreStraight out of the box you can tell this is a premium quality headset. It comes in a really nice grey velvet drawstring bag to protect it during storage. The range of the live orchestra I was listening to had me immersed from pressing play, I had forgotten how good music could sound with a good set of headphones on.Using the headset for gaming was also a pleasant experience, it enabled me to hear sounds in games which I had not heard before even tho I have played them for many hours. The noise cancelling was very effective, to the point I could not hear people shouting behind me from 10 foot away in my living room while I was in a game.I also used these to play along to songs on my guitar through a game called Rocksmith and they sounded great with minimum lag, which is extremely important when playing along to music. I couldn't tell a massive difference with the immersive sound but I think this may stand out more on first person shooter games such as COD which i dont reall play.. The lights on the ear cups looked cool but I found I turned them off to save battery. The battery was never an issue although I did not get anywhere near the suggested 45 hours of on-time between charges so I cant comment if it actually last that long it will certainly last long enough for most people.I really liked how the mic mute's when lifting aswell, this is very convenient.Overall I was really impressed with the range and depth of the sound these produced and found the weight was never an issue due to the comfort of them. These are the first real premium headset I’ve tried but for the price I would definitely recommend them.
Having read multiple reviews on "best headsets" I was somewhat dismayed that JBL rarely features on anyone's list. I own a soundbar and earbuds from JBL so was a fan of their products and surprised gamers weren't on that bandwagon. Took a gamble after seeing these so cheap (comparatively) on Scan and I'm very glad I did. Great sound quality, noise cancellation and flip down mic. Wireless connection hasn't missed a beat and you can use them while charging so no down time!I wasn't happy with in-game audio initially, wanting to get the most out of the cans I tried all the spacial audio settings and gave up, plain stereo sounded better in all instances and the reverb was overwhelming. Everything sounded like I was in a cave! Everything sounded like I was in a cave! Finally settled on JBL's Precise 360 setting and (ignoring head tracking) everything is spot on.It functions well during Teams and WebEx meetings (though I turned the RGB off when on camera, no-one needs to see that during a meeting) and the dual channel audio is well supported in Fortnite so I can adjust game vs chat volume on the fly with a dial on the headset. They're also very comfortable during long meetings and even longer gaming sessions! Can't really fault them!
Overall this is a very good product. Very good sound quality, as is typical for JBL and really good balancing. You can get it to sound exactly the way you want it at any time, whether you're gaming or not. The "game-vs-chat" balance gauge is a neat feature, but it did need some time to get used to it and learn what it's doing and how. The battery life is good and it's amazing that you can just plug it in when it gets low and keep using it without any fuss or having to stop using it.Only a couple of slight negatives. Firstly the microphone (by accounts from friends on voice chat) is not very clear. They said it sounded a bit muffled. Firstly the microphone (by accounts from friends on voice chat) is not very clear. They said it sounded a bit muffled. This might be an issue with settings on my part, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it.The actual complaint I have is that, because of all the features and everything this headset has going for it, it is on the heavy side a bit, so comfort over long sessions isn't the best, and because it's not very tight at the sides, it does get to slip away, if you lean too far back in your chair or look down for whatever reason.
I must admit, I feel a little silly. Initially when I started to use these headphones I did so without the included USB dongle / adapter in my PC and was very underwhelmed with them - but that was my own fault for not reading the documentation a bit closer. But once that hurdle was over with, my experience has been much more pleasant.Up to now I've only used them via PC and not a console so my experience is based upon that. I was definitely skeptical on the head tracking feature but after enabling it - it is very interesting. Moving my head to the right puts my audio more into my left ear, and vice versa etc - it's different. I am not sure that matters or is useful in terms of gaming but certainly a nifty thing up to this point.I am a bit torn on the spatial ... MoreI must admit, I feel a little silly. Moving my head to the right puts my audio more into my left ear, and vice versa etc - it's different. I am not sure that matters or is useful in terms of gaming but certainly a nifty thing up to this point.I am a bit torn on the spatial surround - I am not sure if it has helped with tracking sounds in FPS games (CS:GO) or made it a bit tougher since things seem to sound a bit more distant - although very clear, and the 7.1 definitely works with all of the channels in the right positions. Outside of that, it definitely is some of the cleanest sound i've had out of a pair of headphones.Noise cancelling works, probably a bit too well - I've had my GF sneak up on me a few times and scare me - which is hilarious for her and not so great for me. But turning it off is literally just a button on the headphones and you're back to hearing the outside world. The flip up mic is pretty much essential in my opinion and it drives me nuts more headphones don't have them, and that more people do not use them - I genuinely don't want to hear people mouth breathing or their background noise LOL, and I don't want to impart my own on others so the feature definitely gets used!I am not crazy over RBG but the ability to customize the lighting on the headphones is a neat thing and easy to do with the Quantum software / also tweak the other settings of the headphones.Overall I do like the sound and the headphones are certainly comfortable - my only gripe is the ear cups which essentially end up sticking to my head and getting sweaty - not the best feeling but it's pretty much the never ending leather conundrum - love it, but reality is you end up becoming glued to it if you are on it too long (or the headphones are on you too long).I would definitely recommend these if you need a solid feeling, comfortable (take breaks lol), wireless headset with some nifty advanced features you can choose to either use or disable fairly easily.
I’m reviewing the wireless JBL Quantum 910x headphones for Xbox and I have to say I am pleased with the quality. Starting with the packaging, the box design is really eye catching and gives good detail about the product, as you open the box your are met with a very plush and soft dust bag to hold the headphones which is useful for travel and storage, also i was pleased with the inside compartments of the box and how smartly it was folded together to make a nice and neat box for the headphones, onto the quality of the headphones themselves again I’m very pleased with the design and feel of them, as I took them out of the box and held them they just felt expensive all the materials used feels very good in quality, The ear cushions are comfortable and fit perfectly ... MoreI’m reviewing the wireless JBL Quantum 910x headphones for Xbox and I have to say I am pleased with the quality. In general they are perfect headphones for gaming or listening to music as the high quality in the bass and the crisp sound it gives makes hearing footsteps and the direction they came from clear as day, and if your listening to music it’s really brings out music for what it is very clear and the perfect balance of bass to make a perfect sound,The battery life is another feature that impressed me, With 37hours of battery life from fully charged you can never run out of battery while gaming or anything else the battery life is a key feature in my opinion. The lights on the headset are really nice and have a nice look to them while on a stand, love how you can configure your lights to your color preference which I haven’t got a chance to get into yet but sounds like a great feature. Overall the headset itself is outstanding in my opinion not a bad thing to say about it, the only thing I would say & it isn’t a bad thing is the spin feature on the headphones feels like It would definitely break if dropped or sat on but it does add to the designs maneuverability and without it it would be stiff and hard to adjust. I give them a 9/10 as I haven’t got anything bad to say about them and for the price it is more than reasonable for what you get.
There is only word to describe this gaming headset on my PS5, "WOW"!!! I do own the Sony H9's but this JBL 910P Blows it out of the water. Crystal clear dialog w Thumping Bass. In addition living in a New York City apartment with constant noise day and night I was surprised with it's Noise Cancelation. With so many switches on the headset I'm not sure if it was even activated, however just putting the headset on for the first time canceled all the noise outside. I'm not into RGB too much but I have to say the blue lights look pretty cool. I've only owned this masterpiece for one day but there is so much for me to explore with all of it's functions. It will be wrapped in white paper. When I opened it I was like where is the second dongle? You need to pull the top part off where the arrow is to seperate the 2. I thought it was missing and contacted JBL's Excellent customer service for help. They were very helpful and polite and know their stuff.Thank You JBL for such a Wonderful Headset.
Bought the headset about a month ago, needed a replacement for my JBL Quantum 200's. Overall the product is top tier, the sound quality is crisp, clean, and (often times) very loud.Pros:- Long battery life (while wireless), in my experience it gets a solid 30-32 hours whilst connected to the included dongle, and right around 43 hours with Bluetooth only. The headset can be connected via Bluetooth AND the dongle at the same time. Note; I do have the RGB function disabled on my headset, which extends the battery life by a *ton*.- Good range on the wireless connection, both Bluetooth and dongle.- Capability to be wired with USB-C (console), or 3.5mm jack going into a headphone/mic splitter (PC)- Amazing mic quality *while connect via wires*. Honestly the mic's balance and quality is on par with some dedicated desk/boom mic's that I've had in the past.- Very comfy fit, I can easily wear them for 5-6 hours straight with no issues. Very little wiggle on my head, even when vigorously shaking or bobbing my head.- Active noise cancelling is so good that it's almost disorienting. Being able to hear most of the environment around you just vanish really is a harrowing and alien experience after never having used it before. The noise cancelling is togglable from a button on the left earphone. There is also a Talk through function, for when you need to hear everything around you or carry on a conversation.- Audio has next to zero delay whilst wireless. I've played quite a few CS:GO and Valorant games, relying almost entirely upon audio cues/footsteps. Not once did I notice any delay that ever affected gameplay.Con(s):- Uhm... Mic quality whilst wireless decreases substantially? Less of a con, more of a side effect to ANY wireless connection.Over all; If I could give this headset a 6/5 stars, I would. It really is one of the most versatile pieces of tech that I own.
