I got these headphones a few weeks ago. I have a few different pairs of JBL headphones, and out of those, I do have my favorite that I compare all headphones to. Not just JBL, but ALL headphones.First, let me talk about the "around the neck" feature. I love this mainly because I wear my headphones to the gym, a lot! I played a range of different sounds from country music, hard rock, hip-hop and even some techno just to round out the selections. JBL sound has beat all expectations I had on BIG sound in a SMALL package. And I will say that even though this is probably not the best product I have tested, everyone has different style of headphones there prefer. I like my ear pieces to have a little bud cover on it, that way it fits snug into my ear.

Your results may vary since everyone's ears are different. These headphones are not uncomfortable, but I have used other earbuds that are certainly more comfortable and better fitting for my ears.There is a cord that permanently connects the two speakers which houses the battery, microphone, volume and control buttons; and it works great used as a hands free headset for phone calls.Overall, I like these headphones. They have good sound and a battery that you don't have to worry about for all-day listening!

I've been using these for quite a white. After the "20 second beep sound" problem (mentioned in another review) was solved (thanks to the instructions for a "firmware update", as a reply to the previous review here) they have been quite enjoyable. The seamless switching between the computer and the Android phone has been a plus, quite practical in daily use...The issue is that now the annoying beep sound is back -- 215BT may have gotten quite "confused" after they were successfully paired with a tablet as the third device (surely, only two simultaneous connections are possible among the paired devices, computer-phone-tablet...I am trying to have the firmware reinstalled or turn the earphones to their factory settings or have the firmware downgraded to then upgrade ... I was worried that these headphones would end up in the junk drawer based off of previous reviews and the lack of unbiased YouTube reviews. But I’m glad that I purchased these!! Overall would buy again.Battery life is accurate at about 15-16 hours on a single charge at 50% volume.Speaking of volume, when fitted properly, the volume is typical for other JBL products, with 50% being comfortable, and 75% volume being nearly uncomfortable.Fitment seems to be an issue for some. These fit similar to Apple EarPods with the main difference being the rubberized coating versus the high gloss of EarPods. These make an excellent Bluetooth replacement for Apple’s corded counterparts at roughly the same price.Bluetooth 5.0 will initially result in the expected video ... They worked well on a run, and I didn’t experience the stethoscope sounds I normally get with TWS headphones.My only nit pick is with the cable… not about the length, but with the use of flat cables between the earbud and battery pack. The flat cables cause the earbuds to flex in the wrong direction, sometimes resulting in the earbuds moving in or out of the ear. I would like to see round cables closer to the ear.I think these headphones would also benefit from a cable clip to keep the battery pack from sliding to one side.Waterproofing would be a nice addition as well.In all, I’m happy with my purchase, and believe there’s a place for headphones like these for those that have longer workouts, or need to be able to hear their surroundings without a transparent mode.They’re simple to use, and easy to replace if lost or broken.If a more outdoor oriented model existed, I would happily buy or review.
I own these earphones for about six months now, and the left earbud's volume is much lower than the right one. It's not broken or damaged, since if I up the volume to max on my phone, the left earbud plays at a correct volume.It seems like a fixable problem, but no one at JBL seems to know how to fix it, or even know what their product is. Under some other one star review on this page, someone complained about the same problem, and JBL replied "You may try to perform a factory reset by placing both earbuds in the charging box, press and hold the button on the Right pod for more than 5 seconds." THERE IS NO CHARGING BOX. It's designed without any; a look at the image of the product will tell you that.I've followed other instructions of other replies, updated the ... The cord connecting the two earbuds is longer than I expected, but it's good because if I'm wearing something with a collar or hood I can tuck the cord underneath and it stays nice and secure. I searched a long time for earbuds this shape and without the gummy things, and I'm happy to say these fit in my ears pretty well and are comfortable. Pairing is quick and easy. The quickstart guide included in the packaging was helpful and made it easy to understand the buttons' functions. I got the blue color and it is really nice. The battery life, the comfy fit, the overall quality for the price. The battery life is just great and they charge back up quick, what more could you ask for? I have small/weird ears (??) and a lot of normal in-ear buds won't fit or will hurt after just a few minutes of use. If you have a hard time finding comfortable in-ear buds, give these a try! These are a great fit for me and feel really comfortable even when listening for a longer period of time. Literally JUST bought these, they arrived today & I don't even need to charge them to know they are completely WORTHLESS TO ME.There is no way to make them fit a smaller or larger "ear hole" or whatever. SO - They either fit you perfect, or you are screwed.I can't get them to go in my ear & stay there sitting completely still, much less moving.I definitely feel like I just threw away what I spent. (which was ALOT LESS than the original ask for them.My 1st purchase with JBL ever, MIght be my last.
Apparently, instructions on youtube as to how to reset the 205bt's and similar models "somehow" worked on 215 bt: Wıth the power off (and after charging the earphones fully), pressing both volume buttons simultaneously for a while (10-20 seconds) or doing the same with all the 3 buttons --viz., power button included -- got rid of the beeping problem. I had unpaired the phone from all devices prior to doing that and now the connection is stabile. Hence, I upgrade the 4 star review. This should apply to the earlier 2 complaints on beeping in 20-seconds intervals too.5 star then for this price range -- I only wish the official instructions showed how to reset the earphones.
