I recieved my live500BT headphones a few weeks ago. I decided to trust JBL since I have the charge 4 speaker and I love it. My phone isn't in the best shape, but I can leave my phone on the wireless charger and stay connected to my headphones through the entire house! If you're like me and don't care for earbuds, then these are for you. Much lighter, but with a better sound quality than other over the ear headphones I've used. Great for the gym. Works across all genres from podcasts, pop, country, punk, metal and electronic! Also in 3 weeks I haven't had to charge them, amazing battery life!

Recently bought a pair of these and they really have a nice sound for the money, the frame is good but can put a fair amount of pressure after a few hours of use. They are, indeed, pure bass experience, so best suited for that type of music, and if you want to listen to something that's not bass-dependent, you must play with the equalizer and cut the bass out completely. The biggest problem I'm having is the connectivity. I can't connect them to any of the PCs, laptops and MacBooks (Win10/Big Sur 11.2.3), but the mobile connection is great, and they sound great. Even the mic is good for the phone calls but due to its placement, it picks up everything around you.

was on a trip needed a pair of headphones cause I lost my AirPods and passed by Walmart and got these. These headphones are the way to go. Not overpriced and my favorite part is the battery life. Thing never died on me. I was on the trip for 3 days with the headphones barely charged them. Some days I didn’t charge it and it didn’t die until after a few days I got home . Charges super super fast, battery life super super long. Sound quality is great. Love the thing so much. Had a great time with it until I gave it to my sister after finding my AirPods and my brother bought it off her for 40$ smh could’ve made easy bank it’s whatever tho

Greetings, i purchased this via Trendyol from Aztek Teknoloji only two days before. I gotta say that, the product did not seem to be faulty by means of the product itself.(physically). Neither the cable nor the other pieces appeared broken. Stuff feels pretty solid when i put it on. Though, i feel quite disappointed sound quality wise whether i can't ensure the fact that the exact product i purchased is troublesome or it truly produces such sound. By my first time experience, i could easily tell that the bass does neither feel lively nor strong. It is kind of croaky. The clarity of the sound also does not seem that much satisfying. even though the bass felt somewhat alright, trebles and mid range sounded much worse. The loudness of the sound is not sufficient ... The loudness of the sound is not sufficient either. I seriously do not know whether the exact product i bought is "sound-wise" problematic/defective or this is how these headphones sound. On the other hand, i could not spot the way the volume is being increased through the remote control. Is it possible? If then, how?
I've had my JBLs for a week now and my findings are that overall it's a decent pair of headphones with some room for improvement. The sound quality is ok, bass is a bit lacking for this price point. As these go over the eat they are great for cancelling out ambient noise, so you need to be careful when walking in busy city centres, otherwise they are great for train journeys. They are easy to use and pair with multiple devices, no issues whatsoever here. Battery life seems to going forever, I've used these for approximately 10 hours so far and the battery is holding strong. Voice assistant feature is great, but it does struggle recognising words in a crowded or loud environment. Call quality is spot on, so far I've been comfortable in making calls and the person I'm ... Voice assistant feature is great, but it does struggle recognising words in a crowded or loud environment. Call quality is spot on, so far I've been comfortable in making calls and the person I'm talking to has no problems hearing me. Finally this brings me to the build quality, the headphones are holding strong so far, but my concern is that the design and quality may not stand the test of time and don't seem to be as robust as lower price point headphones I've previously had, but only time will tell. Overall my experience has been pleasant and i would recommend these for daily commutes and long train journeys for music, radio and calls.
I was a mobile DJ for several years, and had headphones ranging in price from affordable to daylight robbery. I was looking for a far more affordable range to use with my cell phone Bluetooth, and these came recommended. I must say, I was sceptical when I saw the price. However, on unboxing the item, I soon learned why the JBL 500BT are in a class of their own. The headphones are incredibly light, but sturdy - and exceptionally comfortable on the ear, with fully padded, soft earcups. The entire set is also foldable, with flat-fold earcups, taking up minimal space. What amazed even more that the comfort these headphones offered, was (1) the exceptional sound quality, volume and pure bass; (2) the short charge time (just over an hour); (3) the 16-hour playback time ... Don't let the price put you off these Bluetooth beauties. I have paid ten times more for lesser quality headphones. These JBL 500BT headphones set the standard for what I wanted. Obviously, with them being much more affordable than many others out there, you may sacrifice every so slightly on sound quality and depth, which more expensive headphones will give you. But, trust me, if you are used to using the in-ear or air-pod variety that come with top-of-the-range cell phones, these JBL 500BT headphones will likely outshine those, and by a large degree. These are without a doubt the best headphones in their price range.
I bought these headphones when my old ones broke. I was excited at first as the audio quality when listening to music is outstanding. Then Monday rolled around and I needed to use these headphones for their main purpose- online meetings. These bluetooth headphones come with a mic and a hands-free mode intended for using the mic and earphones at the same time. However, the audio quality is abysmal, quite literally impossible to understand anything that is said, as it really is little more than distorted static. After much research online, I have found that this is a known problem with this model of jbl headphones. I did not buy a dud pair, the model is a dud. Hopefully, I can get a refund for these useless headphones, otherwise I've wasted a lot of money on a brand that I used to regard as high quality. Very dissapointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Good: Look & Feel - I generally like how the 500BT looks. The fabric around the band looks sleek and I don't feel any discomfort when keeping them on my head for a while. The ear muffs are nice and soft; don't heat up my ears when I have the headphones on for more than 30 minutes; and they do a good job at isolating most environmental sounds considering they aren't noise cancelling. Sound (Bluetooth) - The 500BT sound good. The vocals are clear, but there is almost no bass when the bass mode is off through the JBL Headphones app, so I would recommend keeping them on and adding some bass through equalizers. The overall quality is still good and I would use these as my daily driver. Features & Hardware - ... The overall quality is still good and I would use these as my daily driver. Features & Hardware - Bluetooth is easy to connect and quick, too. I love the Google Assisstant integration and the fact that you can touch the cap on the left to activate it. It's quite useful when needed. I also appreciate Ambient Sound and TalkThru as well. Both are equally as usefull when I turn them on and do a decent job at drawing sound form the surrounding area, but could be clearer at times - it's not consistent. Being able to fold the headphones are a nice finish to the build. The Bad: Build Quality - I like the matte finish, but the plastic build makes it look cheaper than it should be. The 500BT I got always made cranking sounds whenever I rested the headphones on my neck (Mostly behind the muffs) so it was quite irritating. I don't understand why USB Type-A is still being used to charge the headphones. It's 2019, please update the next ones to Type-C. Features - Yeah being able to touch the surface of the left ear muff to activate the assistant is nice, but I often tapped that area by accident on more than one occasion, meaning that I could always hear my Google Assistant talking by itself when I don't want it to. It's quite annoying and I wish it would only work when the headphones are on my head or that they were less sensitive. Buttons - I don't like how all the buttons are on one side. I often forget which buttons are which and it takes time to learn. Even after a week of usage, I still struggle. The ambient button and bluetooth button should be placed on a different side. These headphones needa pouch since they cost a bit.
This was my first time buying JBL, I went for it because the brand had very positive reviews. I bought it for Christmas and it was working perfectly for the first 4 weeks, then randomly from a minute to another the right earbud went very faint, then completely silent. I tried everything that was recommended but nothing worked. Being very disappointed I took it for repair under the warranty where I was told they didn't fix these models as they were 'not worth fixing' so I was given a new one. It hadn't been 2 weeks yet and the exact same happened! First the music suddenly sounds like it's coming from a tunnel, then the right earbud goes completely muted. Not that all these matter when you have to keep sending it for repair every other week but the sound was amazing ... I suspect it must be only a model defect, however I'm beyond disappointed as I had high hopes for JBL. I'm sorry I don't think I will buy again or would recommend it to anyone at all...
The only good thing about this headphone is the decent audio quality. Other than that it's TOO small. It doesn't even use a standard 3mm audio jack. It uses a wire, like a cheap ear phone!! On top of this, after only 20 seconds this small headphone will begin to hurt your scalp. I am not even going to use this, I gave it to my little sister. I expected far more for a JBL product. Buyer before.
