This is without a doubt one of my favorite fragrances of all time. I have every single fragrance that has been launched from this line. I couldn't be happier with this fragrance and I can't wait to see what they come out with this year. The struggle is perfect for the fall in Winter that I definitely enjoy wearing this I get tons of compliments this type of reference to me I feel is very timeless that you can wear this on a date or to work or to the nightclub or all the above. Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male, first released in 1995, is classified as a Oriental Fougere fragrance, designed by none other than Francis Kurkdjian: y’know, the Baccarat Rouge 540 guy! This is inspired by the scent of the sailor, with the clean lavender soap and fresh mint. The bottle is quite unique, with the sailor theme reigning true. Honestly, I don’t see the inspiration in this fragrance, but that may be on me. Notes of lavender and mint hit you so quickly, with a slight bitterness from the artemisia. Don’t worry about the bitterness though, because that all quickly fades away and you’re left with a very warm vanilla amber. On the skin, the vanilla amber hangs on, but on clothes, it’s the lavender that sticks around. This was once regarded as a clubbing scent, but there are probably much better clubbing scents to go for. Perhaps back when it was released it was much stronger and more impactful, but nowadays, this would be best left worn out and about on a errand run or straight out of the shower. This is not necessarily a fragrance you pay full retail price for. I do, however, recommend this for the lavender/vanilla lovers.

Before it was a beast mode 12+ hour fragrance now it’s just 6-7 hours. This is considered a sweet fresh fragrance The top notes are : Lavender, Mint Cardamom, Bergamot, Artemisia. Giving you a fresh opening with timeless scents with he lavender and bergamot The mid note are Cinnamon Orange Blossom Caraway. Giving it a spicy edge to the fragrance. The base notes are Vanilla ,Tonka Bean ,Amber , Sandalwood. The vanilla is very present in the fragrance making it last long and giving it a sweet edge to this fragrance. Faulty product

I purchased this online from JL, but when I opened it, it had zero fragrance and having bought Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male EDT for over 15 years, I knew there was something wrong with it.I phoned JL Customer Services to report the issue and was advised to take the item into my nearest JL store, Welwyn GC, about 10 miles away, but as I needed to buy other items in the store, I did as requested.The shop staff agreed there was a problem and exchanged it for another sealed, bottle of Le Male.However, when I got home and opened it, guess what, the same problem, zero fragrance, so maybe a faulty batch. This is a classic with a few other versions, all with the same bottle style of the naked female torso. Such an iconic bottle JPG Classique perfumes, all versions and varieties come with no cap, just a black hook around the nozzle. Today, I saw a review of KKW Body edp.... Anyone else think maybe someone might have possibly ripped off JPGs design Maybe the shape of that bottle is unique to KKW but the idea behind it is not. Honestly, no dispect to anyone here, just not a fan of them. Im guessing the majority of purchases are by the under 30 year old group. Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male EDT 100ml

Created in 1995 by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, Le Male is a classic fresh and powdery fragrance that most people will love. The opening is very reminiscent of shaving cream with freshness from the lavender and mint. You also get a slight sweetness from the vanilla that brings it all together. Some might see this as a night out fragrance but honestly I could see myself wearing this in every season, even on hotter days. I get solid performance from Le Male, about 8 hours or so on my skin.

I'm a big fan of strong smelling aftershaves, especially ones that will last on my skin/clothes for most of the day.
