Jet USA Portable Steam Cleaner Multi Purpose High Pressure Handheld

Doesn't seem to do what it is supposed to. Purchased it to clean grout lines and glass in shower etc makes little difference if any without scrubbing or addition of chemicals. Will keep experimenting!!!

I purchased the Steam Cleaner to remove mould growing on the grout in the shower. Firstly used it without brush attachment but it didn't make much of a difference. I then attached the softer brush which worked better but did not eliminate the mould completely. It made a huge difference however. I feel confident using the Steam Cleaner for other cleaning issues.

I wanted to buy a portable steamer for my Son, so I chose this one. I have a very very trusted old portable steamer…. But this one now makes mine seem like a dinosaur… time to replace I suspect…. And I can afford to. It works perfectly.

I used this product for first time last weekend to remove oily surface on our Range Hood with great effect. I was so amazed with the result that I tested the steam cleaner on the floor grout in our kitchen. The colour of the grout used to be dark grey, but after many years traffic had turned almost black. The Grout joints are now the original colour thanks to this amazing Product. I can recommend the Jet-USA Portable Steam Cleaner to anyone. It's a great and affordable product.

So easy and efficient. I just hit the area (outside fibro balcony ledge and wall) with the steam and then use a medium size scrubbing brush to lightly remove the built up grime. Works a treat and I highly recommend it.

I have used this product a couple of times and it has been very good once on tile grout in the bathroom as I had stubborn navy towel fluff which was very hard to get out and probably I will have to repeat to make it perfect. Once again I used it on my off-white carpet in the bedroom and it has removed tradies boot marks off, very hard to get out and probably will want a second go. It is good but not heavy duty but I am satisfied with my purchase.

Cheap and nasty, and dangerous

The first time I used it, the window cleaning attachment broke and I got a steam scald across my hand. It was the most painful burn I have ever had. I contacted Kogan who arranged a replacement. I had been hesitant to use it again, but finally did decide to give it another go. All of the attachments have plastic couplings and they never seem like they are attached securely. Maybe it’s just me thinking about my first experience, but I am going to throw it away unfortunately. I should have insisted on a refund after my first use!

Not good for cleaning stains on couches & cap very hard to get off

I spilt a cup of Herbal Tea on my light beige lounge & when tried to spot clean the stain got larger, so thought this machine would steam it out but after trying several times it did not. I had to take the cover of the L section of the lounge & wash in the machine then get two people to help me put back on. The cleaner is excellent for steaming door tracks,tiles etc but not what I needed for. Another major problem with this machine was getting the hooded cap off to fill with water it was extremely difficult for me & almost gave up the second time hurting my wrist & shoulder.

Bought to swell dents in wood. Does this in a canter. Feels like enough power to do some ply steam bending. Would also be excellent for stretching felt for hats and other things. Tried on shower grout - works, but probably takes longer than scrubbing, but will get to the spots in corners that are hard to scrub. Some people have complained about the lack of power for shower cleaning, I have to wonder how much steam they want in the enclosed space of a shower, 1KW is a lot of steam. Attachments are good, attach well, look useful. I haven't broken anything but I'd handle it carefully, sometimes manufacturers stretch out this type of plastic with talc. Spend a bit more and get something better.

Within the first 5 minutes of use the hose attachment has broken internally and leaks out all the steam, which is quite dangerous. Hose attachment is now in the bin. Apart from that it seems to work OK but is not great. Must have a tiny boiler as it loses pressure very quickly and you then have to wait for it to heat up again. Better off spending a bit more to get something decent.
