Does not smell anything like the sample

I received a sample of Jimmy Choo from Perfume.com, absolutely LOVE it . So, I purchased " Jimmy Choo" from Perfume.com, it doesn't smell anything at all like the sample; so, I'm returning it. The sample is marked " Jimmy Choo" and underneath that is says "Women" . Jimmy Choo does not make a perfume called " Women" hence, I think that is how they differentiate the samples so that they can send them to people i.e. this is for a woman and this is for a man. Anyway , the smell does not match the Jimmy Choo perfume that I purchased- not even close.

I treated myself to a bottle of this perfume for Christmas after receiving a sample and falling in love with the smell. It has a gorgeous smell. Is a lovely fresh scent that does last most of the day. Comes in lovely bottle as well. Have received lots of compliments whilst wearing this perfume so very happy I purchased it.

I'm not the biggest fan of fruity fragrances, I find the super cherry/strawberry/peach type fragrances combines with sweetness to give me a MASSIVE headache, and find them a bit juvenile. I am more into white florals, sweet, pear/lychee type fruity fragrances (if I had to choose a fruity fragrance).With that being said, my boyfriend loves a fruity, sweet, fresh scent on women so I've been looking for a go-to scent that would be a great compromise for the two of us. It's the equivalent of a girly, feminine scent that you can make cozy or fresh depending on the season.The first, and main note, I smell is pear. Its bold and sweet, but fresh. The deeper note of toffee is more subtle, and do give this sense of "coziness", like eating a chocolate covered pear while drinking tea. That's an interesting description, I know, but that combination is how this smells. Fruity, sweet, cozy, but refreshing. This is a very neutral fruity fragrance for those who are on the fence about fruity fragrances!

I can detect the pear, which is mentioned in the notes. This is a crisp sent that may be refreshing in hot weather. The bottle glazed with a mother of pearl shin, the prettiness of which the photo image fails to capture. However, the black cubic cap spoils the look. The bottle cries out for a cap that is round and pearly, too. The nature of the scent and the pale bottle brings to mind icicles. The projection and longevity seem very limited to me, the first of which may not be a shortcoming if one wants to wear it in an office. Sweet sophisticated floral, strong &lasting

Thanks fragrance X for your fair prices and quick reliable shipping. I purchased the perfume version in a smaller bottle because this is a blind buy. I really liked JC Fever so I gave this a try. Very sophisticated, oriental type floral scent. The patchouli is subtle in the background not overdone. Well blended with the floral notes. Reminds me a little of Little Black Party Dress by B&BW, but this one is much stronger and longer lasting and not as sweet. There are fruit notes in here but I mostly get the spicy , floral orchid and of course the patchouli. Very happy with this purchase.
