So I received the new Jimmy Choo “I want choo” Le parfum flanker, and I’m actually really impressed. This is a flanker of the OG Jimmy choo “I want choo” collection, and I think this one is a really great edition. This fragrance isn’t a “beast mode” juice, but I actually really like that about this one in particular. At first spray I do get the pear and gardenia, with a bit of the blackberry. Once it starts to dry down on the skin I get a slight patchouli, but definitely not in a dirty patchouli way. The jasmine shines as well along with the ambrette, which is why this fragrance isn’t a “beast mode” fragrance due to the ambrette. Super pleasing to the eye. I actually like the spray atomizer as well, as it gives this light mist when you press down on the ball at the top of the bottle. It’s almost like you can control the amount your spraying on yourself, and I love to overspray haha. Honestly, a good 5 or 6 sprays and it’s very lovely. This is not unisex to me. This is for the grown and sexy lady who knows exactly what she wants, and she knows how to get it! Great for date night, and when you want to make a statement! I usually enjoy warm comfy scents, so after reading the notes of I Want Choo Le Parfum I was extra excited.First off, the bottle is very pretty. It is all a gold metallic color and, despite it looking opaque, is actually transparent enough to see the liquid inside. I will however say that this isn't very travel friendly since there is no way to secure the "cap" so that it doesn't spray.I would classify this scent as more of an evening and autumn / winter scent. Upon first spray, I am immediately immersed in the warm yet fruity blackberry / pear combo. You also quickly get hit with strong patchouli. I love this combination! It really feels like something you'd want to wear on a fall evening. As it dries on me, it settles a little bit into what I am guessing is the sweet praline scent. It is sweet and warm, but definitely not vanilla. Lastly, after a few hours, I smell what I believe is the musky, woody, almost smokey ambrette on my skin and it is very soft. The final dry down isn't my favorite on me, and I wish it completely dried down with the sweet praline scent on my skin instead. If it stayed that sweet praline or even the patchouli on my skin, I would have loved this fragrance that much more. I could imagine spraying this on my sweaters and jackets in the fall / winter time and really enjoying it!The lasting power is fabulous - this perfume will definitely stay on your skin all night!So that being said, due to the good lasting power, super strength of the scent, and beautiful opening notes, Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Le Parfume easily gets 4 stars from me. I pick up a sweet, candied fruitiness that seems dark, juicy, ripe yet tart so I think I'm picking up mostly the blackberry note, but this element is balanced by the slightly soapy, creamy jasmine note, a smooth cashmere-like musky element that I think is coming from the ambrette and sandalwood notes, and a fresh, green patchouli note (not dirty or overly strong because I don't find it off putting as someone who isn't a fan of patchouli).
