I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! Love love love this cologne! I love it so much I bought me the biggest size lol. You can smell the black pepper and bergamot to start and than as it starts settling down on your skin, you can smell the leather, grey amber finishing with a slight warm of vanilla. All of this aromas packed in one bottle yet not overpowering and it seems to last long since the last spray I got at the mall and I can still smell it on me. Highly recommend this cologne. First let me say this perfume smells amazing and delicious. Its a sweet, gourmand scent, thats not too overbearing or cloying. You dont feel like you want to gag smelling it. This isnt as strong as Flowerbomb by Viktor Rolf. If I had to compare it to another scent, Id say its in the same family as Dolce Gabbana The One Desire. I wouldnt call this a dupe at all, its unique in its own right, but if I were trying to liken it to any perfumes that Ive smelled personally, for sure The One Desire comes to mind. Second, the bottle is gorgeous. Round cut glass that evokes an art deco, 40s vibe, almost giving the impression of a city skyline, with a silvery, cubed top. I highly recommend this. I think the price is a little high but its comparable to other high end designer scents. I think this will work across the board agewise, but its probably ideal for 20s and 30s. Very pretty, feminine scent. If someone were looking to La Vie Est Belle or this, Id say go with the Jimmy Choo Illicit. Its not so sweet as La Vie Est Belle but its definitely a sweet scent.

perfect scent for an older gentleman

when it comes to Jimmy choo, I've only known him for making women's designer shoes but never for mens colognes. during a trip to macys a salesman let me try a sample. the scent was strong and masculine. I believe that it's perfect for an older gentleman. I ended up purchasing the gift package which came with the cologne, travel size cologne, aftershave and shower gel. it's a very good cologne with one drawback is that it doesn't last long. I recommend spraying the cologne before leaving the house and take the travel size with you. I still recommend this cologne
