Y’all. I thought these were gonna be very average headphones. This review comes after a few months of using them. So, granted, this has a bit more experience. Just get them. They’re actually wonderful. They’re super easy to use, charge, and the like. They sound GREAT and they rival the AirPods (3rd Gen) I was gifted. Plus, they can take quite a beating. I’ve dropped them a number of times and they act like nothing happened.

Decent sound, poor distance

I have a couple Bluetooth headphones from JLab that I personally like despite their mixed reviews. I purchased these to have an option without cords. I'm conflicted. They fit in my ears fine. Sound is decent. Battery life is great. However, the comments about disconnecting are valid. With my other headphones, I can walk all around my house and even take out the trash etc. and don't stop hearing audio until a good hundred feet away. These are way more sensitive. If you are more than a room away from the audio source, you may notice the sound cutting out, of the earbuds disconnecting and reconnecting. They also tend to think I'm pressing buttons when I adjust them to keep them secure in my ear, but the response is delayed. Good battery life and the audio is ok, but interface is not great and the case is needed to turn them on

This, combined with their energy saving auto-off feature means that if you leave your charging case at home and then let the buds go idle for a few minutes they will turn off and you will not be able to use them until you put them back in the case. I do not understand why there is not a way to turn them on WITHOUT the case. I have never seen earbuds do that. Bottom line: for the price they are ok, but they could be SO MUCH BETTER with some simple changes.

Great Earbuds For The Price
24 February 2022

Pros: I got these JLAB earbuds to replace the Google Pixel Buds which are too big for my ears. Google pixel buds rubbed my ears and caused raw sores in my ears; these JLAB earbuds are flatter and smaller -- no sores. The case has a USB charger cable discreetly built in, so if you're out and need to charge your earbuds, you don't need a cable if you have a USB port. The 8 Hour battery life is great. These JLAB earbuds are cheaper $ than many wireless earbud options, and for the price alone, my cons list is minor to me. Cons: The preprogrammed volume for notifying users (Bluetooth connection/ earbud battery low) is too loud and doesn't sync with user set volume. I use my earbuds when I fall asleep; the notification that the battery is running low wakes me up. I use my earbuds when I fall asleep; the notification that the battery is running low wakes me up. This notification from my earbuds also wakes up my sleeping husband. I get accessibility regulations, but I would prefer these notifications scale with the volume I set for my earbuds. The microphone for calls is just okay. Everyone I have called while using the earbuds has had to turn up their call volume in order to hear me. I have to keep my call volume at the maximum as well. This resolves the problem for me, but it is somewhat inconvenient.

Great deal for price
11 November 2024

Best thing about these is the battery lasts a long time. I honestly can’t remember the last time I charged mine and I use it daily. Similar features to airpods like auto connect, volume control from pods. Obviously less quality sound than airpods but pretty good especially considering the price. Biggest con is that they’re difficult to get out of the case.

Weak Bluetooth connection, if you put your phone in your left pocket, the right ear loses Bluetooth connection while walking, the same goes for the other way around. I wasn’t expecting an awesome quality out of this but this is no good, will return asap… the controls on the ear bud not responsive more than half the time. The blue tooth connection stays active even after you put the buds in the case, very annoying when you are expecting a phone call and you can’t hear it because your bt clings to the earbuds…

These are NOT good
30 January 2024

Sound is poor and the battery is terrible. I trusted the reviews on this and they were not accurate. Tried to return them without the box and was told that I couldn't do I'm out the money. My scan is that I go around the city and buy terrible electronics from one store and try to return them at another store so I can reap the profits. And I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those pesky kids at the return desk! Do better Target. Don't sell garbage, and if you do allow people to return the trash and buy something else for more money.

Unbeatable for the price

These earbuds are downright impressive considering what you get for the price. -Sound quality is good. Definitely bass boosted but not overly boomy and I didn't notice any bad distortion at higher volumes. -They're comfortable to wear, and very small/unobtrusive. And the touch controls are responsive. -The case is only a little bigger in all dimensions than an AirPods Pro case, and the built in charging cable is nice. No wireless charging, but some much more expensive earbuds, like the Beats Studio Buds ($150) also don't have wireless charging. -The case has a magnetic latch as well as strong magnets that hold the buds in, so they don't jostle around. -You can use one earbud at a time, and it properly sets the sound output to mono when you do. Though it can't pause automatically if you take an earbud out. -While there's no active noise cancelling or transparency mode, the passive noise cancelling is very good since these create a tight seal in your ear. -The buds pair instantly when you put them in your ear with no hassle. I also own a pair of AirPods Pro, and while it would be unfair to compare the two sets of earbuds, the fact I can buy 12 pairs of these for the price of one pair of AirPods Pro and get pretty comparable functionality is truly saying something. JLab hit a homerun with these.

Went from JBL to these... Very satisfied!
14 May 2023

My JBL's quit on me, and I was not prepared to replace them at full price. I went with these after reading reviews, and I absolutely LOVE them. I've had them for for over 5 months now and I couldn't be happier. The charger being attached to the case is so convenient. The battery lasts FOREVER (and I'm at the gym for an hour and a half every day). I charge them once a month. They give you access to a free app with an equalizer which is cool, but their default sound is amazing even with multiple genres such as metal, rock, hip hop, and pop. I can't believe how affordable they are! 10/10 hands down.

Worth it!
2 June 2024

I got these to replace my airpods, since I got a Samsung phone. These had better distance from my phone and automatically restart when I get back I'm range. The battery lasts all day. I don't love the way they fit my ears, but mostly they stay in place. Recently I went to use them and remembered they might be in my sweatshirt, in the wash I started 5 mins ago. Sure enough they were in there, I put then in a bag with a silica pack for about 12 hrs and they work perfectly! I was fully prepared to buy a new pair but they made it. I rarely need to charge the case, every week or 2 and I use then constantly, 10 hrs workdays and a few hrs tooling around my house. Definitely worth a try, especially for the price
