Jo Malone English Oak & Hazelnut Cologne Spray 30ml
An enchanted walk. The crunch of green hazelnut. The spice of elemi. The earthy woodiness of vetiver cooled by emerald moss carpets. On a warming base of roasted oak. Earthy. Enticing. Enchanting. Spritz generously onto your wrists, neck and pulse points – your body heat will help to diffuse the fragrance as the day goes on. Wear alone or layer with another Cologne or your favourite Bath & Body products.

I call it a “Hidden Gem” of #JoMalone and consider it my Top5 #favoritefragrances. Believe me, this Jo Malone London English Oak Hazelnut Cologne has a unique and authentic scent that I’ve never encountered before. It’s woody, nutty with the appearance of proper Oak Hazelnut (the fresh greenyyy one, not the kind of some coffee ingredients). Really nothing else like it. The woodiness is not overtly "masculine" as it is blended very well into a creamy tonka a little bit cedar (as my nose detected) and overall amplified by the uplifting feeling of wild forest at spring all around you. And compare to the other Jo Malone in the same line (the pure glass bottle, not the Intense cologne in the black glass bottle), the longevity and sillage of it might be the best. I wear it all day to work and then the magic scent still lingering when I get to shower at the end of the day. I can see it as a unisex and all-time, four seasons fragrance and would be the one that make you feel so unique (because not many people know about this hidden gem).

I didn't think that I could love anything as much as Myrrh and Tonka but this scent is amazing. I read the reviews and some said it was more masculine but I find it very unisex, at least on my skin. It is quite refreshing and green at first, but then dries down to something very comforting. I just tried it with Mimosa and Cardomon and it was lovely. It is also wonderful all on its own. I find it to be one of the more lasting colognes that I have bought here. I I also found that combining two scents somehow doubles the lasting power. I am definitely spending too much on these colognes but they are addictive!

I was devastated when Commodity's Moss was no longer being sold at Sephora, and then found out the company was running into some issues. It took me *years* to find that scent, as I *hate* most floral and ALL gourmand fragrances. In my extensive hunt to find a replacement fragrance, I came across this English Oak & Hazelnut cologne. While it's not the same as Commodity Moss, it shares my same scent goals: fresh, woody, green, and gender neutral. It's more woody than Moss, but it's still wonderful. I naturally have a soft scent, and this stuff lasts f o r e v e r on me. It dries down a little spicy and powdery, but there's enough green and wood remaining that it still balances out nicely. It's truly unique, I would definitely suggest giving it a try and see how you ... MoreI was devastated when Commodity's Moss was no longer being sold at Sephora, and then found out the company was running into some issues. Hazelnut five years ago. It smells so clean and fresh. I have since purchase this product more than five times. I’ll give it to my relatives also. Don’t they say spread the joy?Every time I smell it, it just lifts my spirits. They have a customer for life, as long as they carry this fragrance.
One day, my friend wore it to school, and I could not stop chasing her. LOL. Then I know that I have to have one for myself. I'm wearing it now and feel amazing. Jomalone has some smells different from other brands, and many smell amazing. This one is one of them.
I wear this almost daily & am asked frequently what I’m wearing. The comments are, “It smells so fresh & nice”, “It’s something different”, “When you walk by it’s such a refreshing scent, what is that?!!!” I always love wearing it because it lifts me & mentally refreshes me. Highly recommended giving it a try! Also, this particular JM seems to wear longer on me than some of the others…
As an avid Jo Malone collector, I can say that this is a lovely addition to their line up. One of the many things I appreciate about their fragrances is that they all wear well on their own, but they also layer really well with other fragrances, both inside and outside their line. Just be mindful, that with all fragrances, the best way to test them out is by applying them directly on top of bare skin. Most fragrances do not smell the same on everyone. Anyway, without further adieu...Upon initial application, this cologne is very green, bright, and crisp. I was not impressed, because it was very reminiscent of 154 in their line, which I already own. I was a little disappointed, because I had done a lot of research on this product. Anyway, without further adieu...Upon initial application, this cologne is very green, bright, and crisp. I was not impressed, because it was very reminiscent of 154 in their line, which I already own. I was a little disappointed, because I had done a lot of research on this product. There is no boutique near me, Jo Malone does not send out samples, and I didn't want to have to return a used fragrance. However, once it dried down, it transformed into this sexy, woody, and earthy (borderline mossy) scent that I can't get enough of. I read somewhere that there were some notes or hints of spice, but I don't detect any when I wear it. I feel like I detect some vetiver as well, but that could just be me. In some ways, it reminds me of Aqua di Gio, which I love on both my husband and myself. As a woman, I love to wear colognes because of my body chemistry. Most fragrances marketed for women are too powdery, floral, or cloyingly sweet on me.I've been in search for a fragrance like this for quiet some time, and I'm so happy to add this to my collection. It's still clean, but not soapy or aldehydic. It's very smooth and the sillage is very unyielding. I can smell it on my sweaters and coats for quite sometime and I can smell it until the next day.I'll also note that this is not a gourmand fragrance. I've seen some reviews of disappointed consumers hoping it would be nutty and sweet because of the hazelnut, but the hazelnut is what lends it's vibrant, crisp, and green opening notes.I hope this helps!
Jo Malone London English Oak & Hazelnut is a woody fragrance best for autumn. Falling leaves. Acorns. Thanksgiving dinner. Unisex but especially well suited for men and appreciated by those who like to be around good smelling men. Projection and longevity are better than average for a Jo Malone London fragrance. Wear it by itself or layered. It pairs well with Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt, which is still my favorite Jo Malone London fragrance.
I only wear Jo Malone perfumes, different ones for different seasons, different times of day. It's so easy to see and test the whole range, with tips on which to mix and match to create your own unique vibe. I can't remember the number of times people have commented on how lovely the scents are. Cannot recommend highly enough...if you haven't tried Jo Malone, now's the time....you'll never look back!
I have been using Jo Melone colones for longer than I wish to admit. This combination was a substitute for another scent, and admittedly, Jo did not disappoint except for "the lasting impressions," or dare I say, the longevity of the scent. It seems that about 3 hours is the max, even when combined with another. Otherwise, it is a very subtle and alluring afteroon/evening combination.
