Jo Malone bar soaps are a worthy splurge. The lime, basil and mandarin is one of my favorites (Pomegranate Noir is another splendid scent). I consider this soap to be multisex. The LBM is an uplifting, clean, spring and summer soap.
My fave. scents are Orange Blossom, Blackberry Bay, and Lime Basil. There are many more that are so worthy especially in the soaps. These soaps are luxurious and creamy, and last a long while. The perfume in them is what makes them the tie-breaker! Amazing.
About a year ago, I received this bar of soap as a gift. Initially I was thinking, “this is a nice, high quality soap, happy to receive.” I had never purchased or experienced a Jo Malone piece before. I could give a lengthy, descriptive story about my journey to appreciation—but I will spare you. Long story short, this bar of LBM soap was the catalyst to my true appreciation for the beauty and power of “scent.” This specific fragrance triggered a feeling of something deep, beautiful, and melancholic…I could not get enough of it! I have since purchased many more Jo Malone items, in this scent and others. I have not been disappointed once, so high quality. Not to be weird, but JM scents will trigger emotions. “Highly recommend” is an understatement.
I am giving this product 5 stars, however when I went to pick up my order it was not wrapped or boxed… and I can ALWAYS count on Jo Mallon to be perfectly wrapped and boxed… and of all the times for it to fail me, I was on my way to a birthday brunch and this was going to be a little gift. I ended up not being able to give it to my friend because this is not at all how you give Jo Mallon… I was so disappointed. Now I have to go back to the store to get it wrapped. I am a mother of 3 I just don’t have time to make extra stops like this….
Believe it or not, I have only just discovered Jo Malone! I bought this soap online for a friend's birthday. It arrived quickly, beautifully packaged in a delightful box, with an additional Jo Malone carrier bag in which to present it. The perfume exuded from the box. I shall certainly be buying more. Fantastic value for money for a beautiful product.
I cant comment on how good or bad this soap is, as when i opened the box it was delivered in , it was immediately being returned. The price for a bar of soap of this size is ridiculas. Ive used other well known designer soap for years, its also a little pricey, but at least it is a full bar of soap, a splurge, but one that lasts for more than a week. This so so small i cant imagine it making a week. Very disappointed.
used by husband in his en suite instead of shower gel. lasted him a good 5/6 weeks and upstairs smelled lovely. yes, a stupid price/ hype factor but unlike any other soap used before.
