A soft floral scent perfect for everyday. The notes of sweet pea stick out the most to me, which I am a fan of. This scent has a strong powdery tone so, if powdery scents are not your thing I do not recommend. It can be paired with others and it not overpowering. I think it would pair well with a deeper fruity scent. It is long lasting on the skin and doesn’t wear off quickly. It’s perfect for light daytime occasions, and I strongly recommend pairing with another scent.

So from the scent description I kinda expected this to be an overly sweet floral. However, upon first smell, this is more of a fresh and clean floral. It reminds me of walking through a garden in the rain. It has amazing throw and lasting power. I think you really only need one spritz! It is very feminine and romantic and fresh. A great first date perfume or even for a wedding!

This is a beautiful new scent from Jo Malone and I much prefer it to the English Pear and Fresia. However it has no staying power. All my perfums are from Jo Malone and each of them last, however, despite spraying several times a day and also on my clothes in an effort to make the scent remain, it seems to evaporate after about 15 minutes. Which is fine I guess if you're paying £20 but this is no small change at £118 for the 100ml and £55 for the 30ml. Luckily I only bought the smaller bottle. If JM can sort this out, I'll very happily purchase more but if the scent isn't going to last, there isn't much point. A real shame.

This has become my favourite scent (and I'm a woman who has WAY too many perfumes!) It's exactly like a freshly picked bunch of colourful sweet peas, but with the extra zing that comes from pears. Sweet without being sickly, fresh without being clinical.Every time I wear this, people ask what it is, and tell me I smell fabulous....and isn't that the whole point of perfume?It doesn't last all day perhaps, but I'm happy to keep spraying! ☺
Jo Malone's English Pear & Sweet Pea scent is like a breath of fresh air in a bottle. It's the perfect fragrance for both day and night, with a lovely mix of pear and sweet pea that's nicely complemented by a subtle touch of white musk. What's cool is that, even though it's light and floral, that musky note gives it a little something extra – a bit of masculine charm that makes it stand out when you wear it. So, if you want a fragrance that's classy and unique, this one's a winner!
It's a really pretty, fresh, feminine scent that's ideal for day time wear. I award it three stars for this.Unfortunately it doesn't project well and it doesn't last long on the skin.I'm not a fan of fragrance combining. It's a marketing gimmick and it shouldn't be necessary to combine one fragrance with another, but if that's your thing then I think this will pair well with Rose & Magnolia. Other scents will just overwhelm it.I do like English Pear & Sweet Pea but I don't love it and when I've finished my 30ml bottle I won't be repurchasing it. I have other Jo Malone scents which I prefer to this one.
Received this sent in exchange for my honest review, and when I opened and sprayed this cologne, I automatically smelled a sweet floral scent. It was almost a bit too overpowering, but a few seconds later, it died down nicely to a suite floral scent. You definitely need to layer this cologne with a perfume for it to last, but when you layer it, you will get that sweet pair smell throughout the day. I enjoyed this scent and plan to layer it with other fruity sweet smells. The floral scent is not overpowering and the fruity scent. It’s perfect balance. This scent definitely made me feel expensive, but at the same time, innocent and sweet.
I haven’t tried this scent yet, but I wanted to point out that Sephora put patchouli in the description’s key notes. There is patchouli in the English Pear & Freesia, but not in this English Pear & Sweet Pea.It should say white musk as the base note. I personally hate powdery white musk, so I’ll be skipping this one. Please do a better job with making sure the listings are correct before you post them!
