I bought a large, fancily packaged bottle of this with my employee discount at work. Well, it smells better out of the bottle than on anybody's skin. Unlike other Jo Malone fragrances, it doesn't stay true to itself. It becomes so musky that I often get told I smell like BO while wearing it! Sometimes I layer it with sweeter lotions underneath, but the problem persists regardless. Definitely try it out on your skin before making a purchasing decision!

If you're looking for a perfume that's not too strong but not too sweet either, Jo Malone London Nectarine Blossom Honey Cologne is that choice. I absolutely love this perfume. It gives me a feeling of freshness and a little sweetness. Its scent is gentle so it is more suitable for those who do not want to overwhelm the room. The overall longevity of Jo Malone's perfume line is not as long as other perfume brands, but it has a unique scent that is very different from other perfume lines on the market. Another thing is that Jo Malone London are meant to be combined so you can layer and mix more than one fragrance to create your own unique and individual scent.

It opens your senses immediately with a squeeze of lime. A hefty burst of freshness, an energetic jolt. Then the basil and mandarin comes into play in a harmonious chorus of refinement. Somehow making the scent both energizing and relaxing at the same time. I do notice some kind of bite which reminds me of Chlorox?? But in a clean fresh laundry smell kind of way. I would say this is easily gender neutral. But may be on the stronger side when it comes to projection. Unique, a little quirky, and quite addictive.

The top notes start of citrusy when you first spray it - I smell mostly limes. It settles into this herbal smell that reminds me of thyme and basil in my grandmother’s spice rack - kind of comforting if you will say. There is patchouli in the base, and as someone who HATES patchouli, I’m surprised I didn’t really smell much of it. If anything, the notes I smelled the most were thyme, basil, and lilac. This has a LONG staying power. I was able to smell this on me the next day. I love that this is unisex because my dad happens to also like this perfume for fall/winter season, and it does suit him well. I mix this with a vanilla base, and trust me it smells SO fresh and gourmand in a good way, and leans into a feminine scent. This is definitely a fall/winter scent. I don’t recommend this for the summer. Overall, this gets a solid 4/5 from me.

Extremely disappointing product!!

I am really surprised this product was given the go ahead with such poor standards from Jo Malone. I purchased the 50ml bottle for a Xmas present for my wife as she loves the bath oil. Sadly we couldnt say the same in regards to the cologne. It smells lovely but it just doesn't last at all. In our experience it doesn't matter how much you spray within the hour its pretty much gone. At over £80 for a 50ml i feel this is awful you might aswell chuck your money in the bin and spray yourself with fresh air. Not the standards i thought Jo Malone were about. Disappointed as i thought i could trust a product from this brand!!!!

I layer it with the body crème.

I first went to Jo Malone London at Disney Springs with a friend, not really expecting to find something for me. The representative asked me what I was looking for and I mentioned wanting a perfumed body cream that would last the day but that was not overpowering. She returned with two samples and I picked this lively contemporary citrus scent. After that, it's all been a blur. I became obsessed with the brand and ordered the cologne to emphasize the fantastic scent. I could not be more pleased.

Must have translational summer to fall scent!

I received something in exchange for this post, however, despite it this is 100% my honest review. If you are looking for a translational summer to fall scent I believe this is the perfect one! The perfume has hints of lime, basil, and mandarin, and mixed together it has a sweet yet musky scent to it. I really love musky scents for this time of year, especially for the translational period of the seasons. For me it last during the day, and I got compliments from how good I smelled! I would layer it if you’re deciding to use this as a night scent. I find this to be perfect during the day. I definitely recommend this perfume! I cannot wait to get more use out of it it during this season!!

Waste of money

I have used JM products over many years and the quality is getting worse. This cologne smells nice in the bottle and then for about half an hour. After that it disappears completely. Its not my nose, I asked other people and they cannot smell it on me either. Tried using more product. Tried the tips on website and moisturising skin. Read the other reviews and see it's not just me. The product simply needs more actual fragrance ingredients in it. Disappointed and upset my partner spent so much money on this as a special treat.
