Jo Malone London Myrrh and Tonka Cologne Intense 100ml

I am obsessed with this! So obessed that I think this scent is worth every penny. Personally, it mixes very well into my own scent. I also love very deep, aromatic, and musky perfumes; this fits very well into that category. A lot of people may say this is a very "masculine" scent, but I'd describe it as sultry, robust, and darkly feminine. So if that's something you're into too, then I highly recommend it!

A pleasant surprise

I’m a huge fan of Jo Malone but I mainly leaning towards floral/fruity scents. I got a sample of this so I read the scent descriptions and was almost 100% certain the scent is not for me. So I sprayed it on a curtain just to test it out. I loved the scent on the curtain - even more so as time passed by, so I braced myself and spray it on me. Lo and behold I love it even more on me. I can see why this is considered a gender-less scent but I definitely feels it’s a very sensual scent for women. Perhaps leaning towards fall/winter scent - but with a light-handed spray, I think I can wear this even in the spring & summer. I am ordering a full-size and the body cream as well, as we speak.

Best smell for me

So I've been using this perfume for over a year and now on my 4th bottle. My first 3 bottles have been amazing with smell and the length of time it lasts on my skin and my clothes. But as I can see I'm not the only one but something has changed as now it's doesn't last very long to the point I feel myself reapplying 2 or 3 times through the day while at work, as you can imagine this isn't cost effective in the long run and upsetting as I don't want to change to a different sent. So I'm going to try one more bottle see if was one off or if it something has changed with it that's not going to change. Will buy my next one from my local chester branch see if this has any change, will keep you updated

Love but cream intensity changed

I've used M&T for years and years and compliments never cease. I always keep extra bottles on hand to ensure I'm not without it.However, the last body cream I bought was noticeably less fragrant. I still had some left in my current container and there is definitely a difference in the intensity. The new one is less intense. I'm so disappointed, especially after reading other reviews about the cologne being less intense as well. I'm needing to purchase a new bottle, so we will see.If JM changed the formula, please change it back!

Love, love, love this scent but maybe there's been a development change in processing, or maybe my present bottle is just not up to par? The scent is fantastic and lingers. I would say it's, to my nose, a warm, earthy, light scent. The right mix of rustic with vanilla and the tiny hint of a floral. It's an enjoyable scent that I consider unisex with a more earthy tone to it. Always receive compliments when wearing it. My son has taken to the scent as well. Have been purchasing this scent for years. I seem to be going through the bottle much faster of late as the scent doesn't seem to have the same staying power of the past. Maybe layering it would solve that. Additionally it has become much harder to find the scent in stock. My absolute favorite smell. Signature scent

I am a collector of fragrances of all kinds (masculine or feminine or gender neutral) and this is by far the best. It stopped me in my tracks when I first smelled it on someone else and I just had to ask what it was. It's so unique and makes you feel like "the main character". I absolutely have fallen in love with it and anywhere I go, someone asks about it. The only downside I would say is pricing, but honestly it's well worth it. The intense is absolutely a longevity queen. It lingers and anytime you pass by someone it wafts. It's such a great product. Absolute masterpiece. Never will I ever buy anything else to this caliber.

Ever since, I've been trying to describe it to perfumers and my lack of skill in description has made the suggestions things with way too much amber for my taste, or too directly one spice or another. This fragrance is, to my snoot, PERFECTION. I agree that anyone can wear it, whatever their gender identity. It's truly a fabulous balance of gentle lavender opening, with the warm and spicy myrrh lingering for a good few hours, and the vanilla and almond coming out for the end-of-party hugs. Spice, sweetness, and a bit of edge -- perfect! Some fragrances in this general earthy-spicy-witchy kind of zone are so heavy they will clear a room if you don't apply them with a very light touch (Grand Soir by Kurkdijan, I'm looking at you, though I love you)! Myrrh and Tonka adds a bit of warmth and mystery to you and your personal space without sending anyone scrambling for aspirin. I buzzed through the sample, and got a little 9ml bottle on Amazon (because points!); but I immediately started panicking that I'd run out, so just committed to the big bottle here. Very happy I did!!!

Stunning fragrance

A sample of this cologne was given to my mum with another purchase. I sprayed it once and now that sample has found it's way home with me!This is the complete opposite to the fragrance type I would normally choose and I would probably have never even tried it. I'm more of a fresh citrus fan and actually get headaches from most fragrances so never been able to wear heavy ones. This is rich, indulgent and luxurious but easy to wear all day. Will definitely be putting this at the top of my Christmas wish list.

Truly unisex, long lasting, but gives me a headach

I really wanted to love this perfume. I like its warm yummy scent and its superb lasting power. However, every time I tried to give this perfume another chance it would give me a headache with just one spritz. I let my husband try it and it smelled great on him too. Unfortunately he also got a headache from it and refused to take this off my hand. Are we the only people who get headaches from this perfume? If you’re among the lucky ones who can enjoy the scent with a migraine, this is a great perfume!
