I buy this for mum all the time and I end up using it all!The fragrance is so lovely and long lasting I can't get enough of it. I use a few drops in the bath and the fragrance literally absorbs into everything!! Even my hair when it's tied up and not in the water... which I LOVE. Every time I use this, I always get compliments at work on how lovely I smell. I don't know why other reviews say it's weak and hardly fills the room because anytime I use it, my mum can smell it from the downstairs hallway?! Will definitely buy more of this because it's incredible. And it doesn't smell like granny rose either thank goodness.

This was a requested purchase for my granddaughters birthday. I comment on entering her house in the beautiful smell of red roses- after her bath the scent radiates throughout the house. She tells me that her skin is very soft and silky after bathing in Jo Malone Red Roses and is very grateful that I purchase this bath oil for her birthday and Christmas

I was advised in store to only use 2 or 3mL per bath so asked if it came with a pipette or dispenser of some kind and was told no. As if pouring such a small volume from the bottle wasn't hard enough, you then end up wasting the same amount down the side of the bottle. You can buy soap with a pump action dispenser for £1 so surely JM can incorporate some kind of dispenser into the bottle and still make it look beautiful? I know there's a glass version but cannot see how that will be so different. I ended up buying a box of 200 pipettes from my favourite rain forest based shop to make it last more than a month....

I adore - and own - Jo Malone's red roses cologne and lotion so I purchased this without hesitation. Bad move. I appreciate that too much intensity could be cloying but this hasn't enough - the aroma is very diluted and though not incongruent with the other red roses products it is not the same, either. It makes the bath water cloudy with something like a scrim on top which is not particularly attractive. Moreover this is not inexpensive and it comes in the cheapest possible plastic bottle with plastic cap. The branded gift box is more luxe than the bottle. Really? I almost sent it to someone as a gift and it would have been very embarrassing. I'm going to ask to return it. I'm disappointed in you, Jo.

And later much to my surprise I discovered it was still available!I was in such a hurry and so excited that I was too fast at ordering that it did not dawn on me that I had ordered a bath oil and not a bath soap (in a bottle).I was like a kid on her own birthday party when I opened the package...The box that the oil came in was soooo beautiful... It had a black ribbon around the box as well... When I opened the box I sighed... "oh... it is oil and such a tiny bottle".Well... I was disappointed and actually immediately wanted to return my mistake.Until I decided to open the bottle and the aroma... I find this to be a beautiful, clean, pure rose fragrance. I have been wanting to it and decided to order the bath oil instead of the cologne because I don't like using sprays. I prefer to purchase perfume extraits if possible, oils if they are not. I normally dab a bit on my pulse points for the close to the body type of scent I prefer. This perfumed oil is decadent and the lovely rose scent is gorgeous and for me, very long lasting. I use as soon as I step out of the shower---rub a tiny amount all over my wet skin--the effect is heavenly!! I shower in the evening and the fragrance is very pleasing and lasts very well though the night. I find that this fragrance is very linear, it remains the same fabulous fresh rose as the hours go by. Delightful!!!

It smelled fantastic! Since I tend not to impulse buy, I went home and spent the entire day sniffing my hands. The fragrance lingered through several hand-washings and was even faintly discernible the next morning. Naturally I came back and bought this product and the body cream the next day! However, I'm quite disappointed in it at home. By itself, the bath oil adds a nice texture but almost no fragrance to my bath, and mixed with the body cream, the scent doesn't linger. I have been using this for a long time, after my husband treated me to the large glass bottle with stopper. It has just run out and bathtimes are not the same without it! The scent envelopes the room as you run the water and is left lingering on the skin gently fragrancing it. I am a large fan of this scent and also layer it with the cologne(also a gift) and the body crème. Light florals are my favourite and seem to suit my skin extremely well. beautiful notes to this and I purchased the mini one for myself, perfect as a travel size! Would be a good idea to offer refilling a glass bottle as a form of recycling for customers to bring their bottles into store and refill with the same oil, at a charge. Could be tried with the mini size and large size?
I adore Jo Malone despite the constant discontinuing of my favorite scents (gardenia, French lime blossom). I love the bath oil & wish it would come in more scents.The one negative is that it has stopped coming with a pump which makes no sense. I end up using more than needed. It would not be a big deal if it was in stock all the time. However, it is not always available & usually is only available online.The rose scent is a lovely floral. I like to mix it with the orange blossom cologne or the nectarine blossom shower gel.
