I have been looking for a way to mount my phone when I am at my desk doing calls. I hate it when people use their phone for virtual meetings and I am left looking up their nose. With this mount it has the perfect tripod and the ability to have a shot at eye level, thank you you Joby.

Product is not very intuitive, over built, and the remote is not secure to the unit. If you throw it in your back pack, it is likely that the remote will fall off and you will have to dig it back out. On the plus side the bluetooth pairing was easy, stable, and reconnecting was without issue. At the time of this writing it is over priced.

The GripTight head is the best part and the reason I bought this in the first place. The ability to more tightly mount a phone in the head vs. other rubber or elastic phone clamps gave me much more confidence that the phone wouldn't fall out while moving.Overall the build quality is fine. My main issue has been that it lacks a pan knob to orient the camera in different directions compared to the feet. It seems the only way to change that marginally is to overtighten or under tighten the GripTight Pro head on the Telepod's 1/4 20 screw. I have been looking for a way to mount my phone when I am at my desk doing calls. I hate it when people use their phone for virtual meetings and I am left looking up their nose. With this mount it has the perfect tripod and the ability to have a shot at eye level, thank you you Joby.
Product is not very intuitive, over built, and the remote is not secure to the unit. If you throw it in your back pack, it is likely that the remote will fall off and you will have to dig it back out. On the plus side the bluetooth pairing was easy, stable, and reconnecting was without issue. At the time of this writing it is over priced.

This is one of the best mobile tripods mostly because of the phone holder. It’s really robust and clamps great. I like to hike and I wanted something I could use as a selfie stick and tripod. This ticks all the boxes. I may even get the iPad attachment soon.
Pros: Grips the iPhone nicely. Great for added stability when used as a hand tool. Small and light weight enough to pack in cabin luggage and yet extends to a really useful height to use as a tripod. Nice hand grip. Really pleased I’ve brought this and can see me using this a lot.Cons: Having difficulty syncing the remote ?It may be down to the battery that was included at sale that’s at fault? Will be getting a new battery to try out! It’s definitely not complicated to use however it’s worth taking just a couple of minutes browsing the instructions before use. Or watching in use on YouTube. Particularly on how to set up as a tripod.
The build quality is great but I have two issues with the design. First, I cannot get it as low as I really want it so that it is just behind the top of my laptop screen. Secondly, you cannot swival the iPhone/camera around once it is in the tripod. If you want to turn it then you have to turn the entire tripod. This make it really cumbersome to get the right setup on a desk.
Its not made for phones with a case. My phone fell many times and made my screen crack. The remote falls off easily and is very hard to locate. I lost it twice at Monetary Aquarium. My kids and I spent most of the time looking for the remote instead of enjoying the Aquarium.

I've owned the iKlip Grip Pro that I purchased through Apple (broke within 6 months), and a few other similar products from Amazon (even less durable) and this one is the best by a wide margin. It is very functional and very durable. I am completely comfortable with my iPhone X in a case mounted to the Grip Tight PRO with the Telepod fully extended doing a variety of activities; notably skateboarding and/or running around a playground. My only complaint is the remote. It is friction mounted to one of the tripod legs; the rubber is good, but brushing it up against some clothing I fear will send it flying (e.g. taking it out of my pocket). Also, you can't ... With it fully extended, the tripod is sturdy enough to stand on his own. We are planning to use it for vlogging during camping, the holes on the tripod makes it easier to peg the tripod with camping stakes and ropes.By twisting to lock/unlock the center pole, it makes it very easy to extend the pole.The Bluetooth control is just a button to press the Volume Up key. Takes a few second to connect after idling for a while.The GripTight Pro 2 is also very easy to operate and extensible by other Joby arms.The downside is this tripod is pretty long and big. It will fit in a backpack, but not in a hand bag, considering the GripTight Pro 2 also takes up considerable space.
Product failed to extend the third rod properly had to call Cust. Srvc. Care had great Srvc. Will update once a new one is sent to meI mentioned that I would refer the product only after I attempt to try the replacement and it is successfully functionally operative
