I have been using this product for 20 years. They have changed the looks of the bottles a couple of times through the years but with the new purple bottle they also changed the formula. It does not smell the same way it used it and it does not work as it used to. BRING BACK the original formula. Plus some of the nozzles bark and half of the product goes to waist.

I used this years ago before I really had my hair regimen down and knew what I had to do with it. At this time I was still trying to figure out a way to have those pretty spiral permed curls. But thats not natural and there's no way I'm getting them without a curling iron. I have spiral curls yes, but I have a ton of frizzy and like every curly haired head I have different shaped curls depending on where. Like they are more s shaped and frizzy towards the front and tighter and spiral everywhere else with a lot of thicker, coarse frizzy hair in the back. I spent my entire life trying to get the curls in magazines. This is one of the things I tried. It actually didn't do a thing for me. Not one thing. My hair looked exactly the same. Honestly. Now it smelled really great and it dried softly without being crunchy at all. Its cheap for the amount you get and easy to find anywhere John Frieda is sold... So anywhere. The bottle is a cute design but not something I would put on display. the dispenser is your average mousse dispenser. So overall this could work for someone that needs that little something to scrunched their curls up with to bring them back to life but that's about it. And maybe if you have very light frizzy or flyaways it could help with that too. But if youre like me and have an immense amount of frizz and poofy don't expect this alone to fix you because it won't. I finally realized I don't like my hair and I won't leave the house without it at least dried and flat ironed and sometimes after that I will curl or wave it but I will never wear my hair curly. So I may not be the best judge of this stuff. It probably would work for someone who likes their curls but if you don't This isn't going to transform them.

This is a travel size Frizz Ease Curl Reviver Mousse. Salon quality control and hold for natural looking curls. I have curls that are between 2b 2c and have been letting my curls be free and I don’t straighten my hair like I used to. I really like this mousse, you shake it up good before using then turn it upside down dispense a small amount of foam into palm. Distribute evenly throughout damp hair, then I finger-style or blow dry using a diffuser. The only reason why I didn’t get five stars is because after using my hands are extra sticky, Which I always wash my hands after using hair products so it’s not a big deal just worth mentioning.

I love this product, I really do. It's got a great formula, it's good for curls and/or waves, and it's got wonderful hold. If you're looking for a way to boost your waves or make them look more lifted, this is a perfect choice. The only downfall in my opinion is how intense the cast is, that crunch drives me insane. I won't blame the product though, it's probably just because I've always relied on curl cremes to control frizz.

I wanted to stop using creams as they were weighing my hair down so I changed to a mousse. The first one I tried did nothing but leave my hair limp but this John Frieda dream curls mousse was perfect. It was not heavy so did not weigh my hair down, it left absolutely no frizz and it also had hold which gave it body. It is also CGM approved. Great product will definitely keep buying this one.

Definitely works on my natural curls and the curls last for at least 4days in super condition. Frizz under control and my hair is much thicker since using the product. I would say don't use too much after washing one squirt is plenty for shoulder length hair. I'm so impressed now my hair is under control, just ordered another 3 aerosol. Excellent product

I wish there was less than one star. I am 51 years old and have never left a negative review. I have saved because I am a single mom with one income and waited for a coupon to buy this and nothing but alcohol and air. So glad I helped to make your pockets lined a little more with your capitalistic dream come true. Glad my lunch money furthered your life. I personally will never buy another product by this person, corporation or any subsidiaries. Wish the best for you and your family.

So frustrating!
7 September 2022

The product itself is not bad. However, the container that it comes in often malfunctions. I have to throw away nearly 50% of every bottle of this mousse that I buy. It starts out fine, but then suddenly the mousse turns to pure liquid because the bottle is not foaming it up correctly. I'm just about done with this awful brand!

The best!! only thing that works on my curls
18 August 2022

Love this only thing that works on my curly hair! Just wow on the price when did that happen?! Used this for 10years plus use to only be like ?3 and thought it was expensive then and today ?7 still I cant be without it. Make sure you dont brush your hair just put your fingers through your hair a few times the scrunch it , then dab with a towel dont rub .big ball of frizz ease in your hand and distribute it.I let mine dry naturally as it works best when almost dry I tip my upside down and scrunch it till it feels soft feeling just a few times does the job you will find the right technique that suits your hair as we are all different but it does really help/work
