Johnson's Moisturizing Bedtime Baby Lotion with NaturalCalm Essences

I chose to review the Johnson’s Bedtime Baby Lotion because I wanted to try it for myself. I like that this lotion has no free dyes, parabens or phthalates because I try to stay away from products that have these or other bad ingredients. I figured if it was gentle enough on me then it would work for babies.I really like the nice, fresh spell this baby lotion has and it does not linger. There is not a ‘baby’ smell and, an hour later, my arms still have a fresh feeling.This Bedtime Baby Lotions is white and thickish when you pour it onto your hand but very easily spreads over the baby’s or your skin. It has a soft feel to it with a fresh smell while it absorbs into your skin very easily and quickly.For babies, I can see how the softness of this lotion and the fresh smell could soothe and help the baby to sleep. And for adults, I really like the Johnson’s Bedtime Baby Lotion and how it feels on my skin.But I will state that it would be very nice if this container had a push-pump lid so I didn’t have to use both hands to put the lotion on my hand. This would also be very helpful to mothers who do a lot of things with just one hand.

This is a bottle of lotion I cannot do without in the winter. ❤️ My son's skin is very dry in winter so This is the lotion that saved my son. JOHNSON’S is very popular among everyone. And really, the quality of this brand's products is very good. 🥰The lotion has a very pleasant scent and is easily absorbed into the skin, helping to keep my son's skin moisturized all night and day.🥰

What I like the most is the smell. My daughter has a little dry skin and this lotion moisturizes it. The texture is light, therefore extra dry skin may need a creamier texture to hydrate. The bottle is large and has its dispenser. I use it together with soap from the same line. I don’t think it helps for bedtime but that’s another story

I am really impressed with this lotion. It moisturises really well with no oily residue leftover, and therefore, absorbs really quickly. It is so great that I have in fact started using it as a face cream for myself too, and not just as a baby lotion! It keeps dry skin at bay and overall is everything you need and want in a moisturiser. It’s a huge generous size bottle, with an easy application pump - perfect when you have only one hand with the baby - super convenient. Great product, very honoured to have tried it!

Love it!

Really like this product, I noticed a huge difference after bath time using it with my 5mo old. We use cottontouch shampoo and wash first. The only thing I was super hesitant at first because I thought lavender was in it (purple bottle just makes me think of that and made me not use it for a long time). Then I saw the 100% transparency from J&J - much appreciated. For once I can read and understand the ingredients in my baby’s creams/shampoos. I still feel a little nervous because it works so well I’m in disbelief. I even find the smell pleasant myself.

New Formula

I have been buying this lotion for 8 years. Always loved it. I started using it for myself at bedtime because of how much I loved it. I just bought a new bottle and didn't even notice the "new formula" on the bottle. Well I just used for the first time and instantly knew it wasn't right. I looked at tge bottle to make sure I got the right thing and sure enough that is when I saw the "new formula" printed on the bottle. Absolutely horrible sent, not calming at all and it just doesn't feel right. I'm so disappointed. I honestly can't sleep without it. I've tried other locations in the past but the feeling of them isn't comfortable for me. Please bring back the old formula or at least change the sent back.

Please bring back original scent!

Pleeease being back old formula! When I first smelled this one I literally couldn’t smell anything! I had to ask my husband to smell it to and we double checked that we got the correct one. There is barely any scent to it and the scent that is there is NOTHING like the original. I am soooo disappointed as we loved the previous scent and it was our go to since our son was a baby. Please do us all a favor and bring the original scent back. This one was a waste of money. :(

The “New Formula” is Awful!

We have been using the Bedtime baby lotion and moisture wash since my daughter was an infant. Of all the baby lotions and washes we tried, this one by far had the most pleasant, non-obtrusive scent. Recently we emptied a bottle and immediately noticed a huge difference when we opened the new one. It says “New Formula” and it is terrible. Neither myself nor my 5-year-old can stand it. I don’t waste, so we’ll use what is already purchased, but I can hardly wait for it to be gone. I guess I’ll have to start the search for the best lotion and wash all over again. I just don’t understand why they would mess with a good thing, and who on Earth would possibly think this new scent is an improvement?!
