I thought maybe the first time it was a dud pack of seeds so I bought another and I haven't got one seed to germinate from either pack. I can't find any chilli plants because of covid so it looks like no plants this year.

I followed Mick's review and have many successfully germinated!! Didn't expect such good outcome after read all the reviews so I planted all seeds, now I have to seperate them to different pots once they grow bigger. Thank you Mick.PS. I also planted the seeds in the kitchen herb kit so it might helped too.

I have planted them do hopefully I get a good crop
Nothing sprouted wouldn’t not recommend to buy this brand
Planted quite a few of these seeds a while ago and nothing! Don't waste your time with these.
Like most reviewers I had little success straight from the packet from this producer...until I researched online. Discard ALL discoloured seeds (black/brown, rather than beige/creamy). The key to success is to SOAK the seeds in water for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight to soften the outer seed casing (this NEEDS to be included in the packet instructions). Plant just below the surface (no deeper than 5mm) in a rich potting mix and keep very moist. Position the pot in a sunny location NOW during summer to keep the soil warm. 5 seeds planted - 4 successfully germinated. Will try in future by splitting fresh fruit without removing the seeds, which I am led to believe is more successful than dried from packet.
Just got to use a green house as chilli like heat and moisture

Johnsons World Kitchen Chilli Hot Thai Bird's Eye Seeds
Hot Thai Bird’s Eye chilli seeds are a must-have for anyone who loves bold, intense flavours. These Bird’s Eye chilli seeds grow into compact plants that produce clusters of slender, chillies, each about 7.5cm long, with a fiery red colour and taste that stand out as much in the garden as they do in the kitchen. Known for its intense heat and bright flavour, Bird’s Eye is one of the spiciest chillies and a staple in Thai and Indian cuisine. Small yet mighty, they are perfect for spicing up authentic Asian soups, stir-fries, sauces, salads, and curries. Their bold colour makes them an eye-catching garnish, too. Plant them in a sunny spot with well-drained soil to enjoy a consistent supply of home-grown heat. The small size of the Bird’s Eye Chilli makes it an excellent choice for drying so you can enjoy a spicy kick even when the growing season is over. Simply hang chillies on twine in a dry location with good airflow and no direct sun to dry or use a dehydrator. Find your favourite chilli seeds in Mr Fothergill’s extensive range, or grow even more delicious ingredients with our full collection of Asian greens seeds, onion seeds, and herb seeds.
