Joico Blonde Life Violet Shampoo (For Cool, Bright Blondes) 300ml

I’m a huge Joico fan and I review this brand a lot. They have products in their line to target any hair needs that you have. I have bleached blonde hair which is definitely not forgiving of any damage. My natural color is a light blonde so the lift wasn’t too extreme. It does however get that brassy tone after the color process which is typical. But this is not the purple shampoo that I use right after to tone it down. I use Joico Color Balance Purple for that. This is what I use a couple times a week to brighten the blonde and keep it looking fresh. Absolutely Brilliant Joico Blonde Life Shampoo

Brilliant- Only needs 1 wash- no repeat. Leaves hair shiny, bright and clean, but doesn't strip oil, or cause dryness and I can go longer between hair washes if I want without it being obvious (with greasy hair).I have noticed far less hair loss when combing my long hair, even if I haven't followed with conditioner.Far better than any other brand I have tried.

Amazing Price & Fantastic Size

To be able to get a 1000ml bottle from Look Fantastic is incredible, but to have the option to by Joico products in this size is even better. A little goes a long way and this will last you a long time. I suggest buying pumps though for easier use whilst in the shower or decanting into a smaller bottle.

Don't buy this!

So..a stylist (not my stylist) who worked at the salon I go to recommended this product to me when I went in to restock on my shampoo. I thought why not and liked it for the most part but noticed my hair was really dry and tangled but I liked the way it toned my blonde. Well..as of the last few months I've started noticing my hair is thinning, I've never had this problem before. My hair has always been in the words of my stylist and anyone who knows me a lions mane because it's so thick, like have to severely thin it every 2-3 months to keep from overheating especially in the summer. Now I'm scared to even brush my hair as it comes out in clumps and my stylist can actually see my scalp..YALL PLEASE DONT BUY THIS!

Got rid of the yellow!

I wasn't sure whether to go for Violet or Colour Balance Purple (which I've been using). So I used the chat & violet was recommended to get rid of yellow & brassiness. And it has. Also I have to use a normal shampoo (Joico K Pak) with the Colour Balance Purple to wash my hair before I use the purple. But when I used the violet, I forgot to do that & it seemed to wash my hair as well as keep the yellow out! Felt nice & soft whereas the purple one seemed to leave it feeling a bit stripped. I am a natural dark blonde & colouring to lightest ash blonde.

Im kind of shocked by comments who didnt enjoy this purple shampoo. I am absolutely so picky- usuallt I use the DH HUE gloss for cool blonde. My location was out so I got this shampoo. Seriously took out ALL my brassy tones and brightened my hair so much. I jave serious blonde dysmorphia when it comes to the tone of blonde I have. I have always loved Joico- I don't know why I stopped using their products. Love love love this one! I tried to add a pic for proof but the app wont allow me too

Joico Blonde Life Violet Shampoo

Love love love this purple shampoo. I have been using other brands for years and stuck to what I knew but I was getting fed up of my hair getting too grey and ashy and with the product causing my hair to become dry. I tried this on a whim and I’m so pleased that I did. 1. It smells so much nicer than all the other brands I have used. 2. It does not leave my hair grey. It lightens and brightens my blonde instead. 3. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and nourished. 10/10

Severe but gradual allergies

I did not have any of the issues with dryness that some other reviewers had. In terms of making my hair look nice, this worked well. HOWEVER, I had a serious allergic reaction to this. It was NOT anything obviously tied to shampoo, so I used this for months before I figured it out.It's weird and sounds unlikely, but all this stopped when I finally stopped using this shampoo. The first sign--I said this was weird and unlikely--was that my feet started itching. I don't know if it was from standing in the shower, but it got worse and worse. I also noticed that my eyes were very bloodshot, but chalked it up to being a mom and getting older. Then, the itching started on my neck. It was off and on for a few months. After seeing this recommended on a group, I thought I’d give it a go…. And it’s fair to say I love it! Yes it’s pricey but look fantastic always have great offers on! My hair is very grey, with mouse brown undertones and blonde highlights and this shampoo is perfect for keeping my blonde highlights toned. Some shampoos have left my grey with that purple tinge, and hands but this can be left on for 5mins and It doesn’t leave your hair discolored or dry! I use it 2-3 times weekly and my hair remains in fabulous condition. It has a subtle effect on the blonde but after a few washes is definitely more noticeable. But if you’re wanting a more dramatic tone you could maybe use inline with a mask to aid the effect. Throw out your purple shampoo

After a looonng time using only purple shampoo thinking it’d give me the ‘bright’ blonde I was after I started doing my research and the joico came with so many recommendations!Leaves my hair feeling amazing, I got it on sale and with the size of the bottle you really can’t go wrong! Definitely will be repurchasing!
